Great atmosphere and the service was great. They host poker on Tuesday nights through world tavern poker and it’s free. Highly recommend going to it if you want to have a good time playing. Even if you don’t know how to play, they’ll teach you and everyone is very welcoming and friendly. I had the wings tonight and they were delicious!

Went to see The Rotary Dials, got there early to make sure we could get a seat. Ordered dinner, we got the Irish Nachos which is made with home made potato chips instead of tortillas. Fantastic you have to try them. I ordered the meatloaf and took half of it home because I was so full from the nachos. My meal came with a salad, it was tasty but their croutons are also home made again delicious. My fiance ordered a burger, don't recall the name but it had sauteed mushrooms and onions, he said it was delicious, no ketchup needed. The burger comes with the homemade chips or you can swap for fries, he stayed with the chips they are that good. The staff of this bar restaurant are super attentive to their guests, our waitress was phenomenal. When we got there, there were no seats to be had, the staff made sure to find a seat for us. The highlight of the night was when Kelsey Grammar showed up. He was very friendly and spent time taking selfies with all who approached him. He stood at the bar singing along with the band, The Rotary Dials, excellent band! Mr. Grammar is a very nice man.

If you like FANTASTIC service, unique and tasty food, this is the place for you. We were overwhelmed by our waitress, Suzanne, who went up and down the stairs at least twenty times while we were there in 90° weather! Suzanne never waivered in her upbeat and friendly service. We thought she was as amazing as our food.

Nice stop for a drink or a meal. The food was really good, I had the meatloaf and French Onion soup and would recommend both. The staff is very friendly and accomadating. And they have TVs all over the place. Their parking lot is small, but there is ample street parking available.

I live a little close to this place and they always have music starting at 5pm weekdays weekends it never ends school started and I am unable to get any work done with the music constantly blasting it’s been going on for months they are inconsiderate and rude there is no need for a live band when you have a bar close to neighborhoods they don’t have the courtesy to lower the music I called multiple times but they don’t care at all terrible place! Rain or shine they constantly have loud music bands! All summer I thought it would stop once school was back in session but they didn’t!

I don't even know where to start with this. The taste of the food really wasn't the issue here. Being a small place, I wasn't expecting 5 star quality. It was average, at best. The point of this review isn't particular covering the taste and texture of the food, but rather the after math. I ordered wings and mac and cheese. A few hours after eating everything was fine... up until midnight. That's when things really started to head the other direction. First, it was the stomach aches. It was any ordinary stomach ache until I sat on the toilet. The bombs I was dropping were unconceivable by the average mind, unless you either witnessed what was in the toilet, or experienced this yourself. Then, I began throwing up ferociously. For the few moments I was undergoing this, puke was constantly rising from my stomach. The gagging even woke up my family. The end result was that I spent 10 hours in the hospital. Nothing serious, thankfully. Now for the rest of my time in Middlesex, I will always have to reminisce on this horrendous encounter every time I drive past Ellery's. I will NEVER step foot in this place again and I will make sure no one I know does either

Really good food the wings were so good and the pasta one of my favorites. Hamburgers were huge and yummy definitely when we visit new jersey again we are eating here again

Great place with great events. Was there Saturday night to listen to the band rock put. The food was good but could use a little seasoning on it for taste. But the atmosphere was really good and would definitely come here again. Great night with friends

I spent a lunch with a friend in the bar area - high-top table adjacent to bar - not in the dining room, so I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and fries with a Blanton's bourbon - YES! They stock Blanton's! The burger was great, and the fries were perfect, crispy and not greasy. I also had a piece of cheesecake with strawberrie topping for desert and that was good, too. Between the bourbon, food, and desert, the bill was a bit higher than usual for lunch, but the prices are fair! In the summer they have outdoor seating and live music. Great place!

I came here on Labor day night and was unsure if their kitchen was still open. I saw an outdoor area and multiple indoor dining rooms. Initially I was not greeted by a staff member on entry (door by lot) but i found a cook/chef in the back who said the kitchen would close soon and he advised to go around to the bar. I had difficulty getting his attention the first time I walked in from the lot door (I thought he was doing some calculations) and that's why i went outside and found a chef. When I went back into the bar area I was able to get his attention and he was really nice and accommodated me very well despite the kitchen closing in 5 minutes at 9pm. I did not have time to look at the whole menu but i saw the asian chicken salad and a side of fries that piqued my interest, plus i got some lemonade. He asked my name for the order which i thought was a great personal touch, and allowed me to sit at a low table by the window. The food came out fast and was fresh and tasted like quality ingredients. The chicken on the salad was plentiful as was the dressing but i would have liked to see mandarin oranges or fruit added, and romaine/iceberg instead of spring mix. The chicken was juicy and the coating perfect. At $14 a very reasonable price. The fries hit the spot and at $5 was a great portion for the buck. The lemonade was watered down but i do not remember it on the tab. I still took care of the bartender and left full and satisfied. I'm glad i happened upon this place and will return if in the area again. It was close to a place I delivered to prior at Piscataway NJ. I am very sensitive to cleaning solution and fried smells and dumpster smells usually in bar areas and parking lots but i did not have any issues or smell anything offensive including when returning to my car, and that was refreshing. They have multiple free parking areas. Google had two different listings for this place and i submitted an edit to one of the listings to mark it as a duplicate.

Well we just stopped in for lunch I asked if anyithing is GF. They use to have GF pizza and buns. She said they can make a salad with chicken perfect. It showed up with croutons. The service was horrible our margaritas where cover in dish soap and bubbly. We also waited 20 mins for are cards to process the payment. The food from are group was also dry and disgusting

Great place! Didn’t eat and just sat at the bar. Inside vibes were great. Dive bar but plenty of dining room/family space. Food looked tasty and the people were so friendly and welcoming.

This is one of New Jersey's hidden gems. Excellent food, service and entertainment. Their St. Patrick's week is especially wonderful with Irish fare and music.

Love stopping by Ellery's. Great little bar, with some great food options get you through the football weekends. Plenty of TVs throughout the bar area to get the latest coverage on any game going on how to place there a big supporter of local businesses & the community-at-large.

I recently celebrated my birthday at this restaurant, Ben made it all the process so easy and stress less, food was amazing, waitress and waiters super friendly, service was excellent, highly recommend it!!

One of the best restaurants we've ever been to! My fiance and I were out for date night and brought our pup with us. They were super friendly and welcoming and they atmosphere was so comfortable and fun! It made me think of a classy beach bar! Definitely would recommend!!!

Not good tried to order a regular run of mill the cheese burger. Bartender didn’t know how to do it and the other one stood there like a dummy. Please figure out how a person can order just a cheese burger without all the specialty stuff. I couldn’t believe it. Oh and people who don’t drink like to order food and watch football without drinking alcohol. Enjoy!

Great bar style food with plenty of tvs to watch the games on. Would definitely recommend checking it out if you want a place to relax and checkout the sports events.

Nice cozy pub with good food and friendly staff. Wife and I stopped for some drafts and dinner. We were not disappointed. Meatloaf was good as was the fried calamari. Free parking. Indoor and outdoor seating.
