The hotel was very pretty and expansive. We were visiting for a wedding. The food and catering was phenomenal. Service was extraordinary. The attendants in the bridal suit were extremely helpful feom helping with a teen seem to needed toiletries, they were so helpful. The grounds are beautiful. The flowers and ponds are beautiful. The building itself ia beautiful. The food was delicious at each venue.

My baby sister held her wedding festivities here and all services were top notch. From the moment we arrived we were treated exceptionally well. The total experience was worthy of a +5 review. Will definitely recommend the venue to friends. My entire family already knows (smile).

This place is a cash cow for the owners. They offer a very limited scope of service, the place is built very poorly, and service is awful. YET, they charge you for every little thing they can, from "destination" fees to bar charges that weren't even made by the room guests. Good for you, investors/owners, but for guests I advise you to book at the Best Western. It is definitely not worth its price, and you will pay and pay... and pay, for everything under the sun here. I stayed here for a wedding for two nights and the price I was quoted at the time of booking was severely inaccurate. They tacked on so many fees and other charges that were beyond the state/municipal taxes. The destination fee is laughable. Where is the destination in EAST Brunswick?! There's a nursing home 5 yards to the right, and a strip of office malls on the whole street. Hilarious! There is also an amenity fee, which is odd because the rooms don't even have basis that motels would provide. There were no Q-tips, basic hygiene kits, lotion, or water glasses. Additionally, when I asked about the amenity fee, the front desk told me it was also for the valet, gym and pool access. Even if you do not utilize these items, they will charge you! The room I stayed in was left dirty. There were hairs found under multiple objects in the room. The shower had some brownish-yellow slime built up under the doors and between the grout. I've stayed in motels that were cleaned better than that! The walls are very thin and there is a 1-2 inch gap between the door and the floor, so you can hear everything that happens at night and in the morning. There are quiet hours that start at 11 PM, but no one enforces this, which guests are aware of. So at all hours of the night, you will hear people yelling, having conversations in the hall way, and partying. If you want a good night's rest, don't expect one here. All in all, I would never come back here. The wedding venue is also very lackluster. The owners don't view weddings as a sacred, private, and important event. This was apparent when they started giving strangers tours in the middle of the ceremony/reception. It is so disrespectful for the bride/groom and guests of the wedding to see managers walk in strangers who are not appropriately dressed to gawk at the wedding. Who does that? Who brings in people in sweats into the chapel, moments before the groom is about to walk out? I saw at least 4 tours being held at all aspects of the wedding. Because the hotel is not upfront about all prices/fees when you reserve, you should expect a much higher charge at the end of your stay, by hundreds. Make sure you book with a good credit card because these people do not budge, even when they make erroneous charges to your room. Just awful- this place is like an assembly line for weddings and they have no regard for guests, weddings, and providing service on-par with the price. This is simply a cash-cow for the owners, and it is apparent.

The Bartenders are fantastic Alana, mike and Dan. Hotel - quiet ,nice and clean but you have absolutely nothing to do in the area or in the hotel besides go to the restaurant or bar. The pool was an afterthought (small plus nothing inviting about it) Restaurant-very upscale I love the steak and lobster Mac and cheese. If you are getting married this hotel is a 5 if not it makes not sense to stay at this hotel. I stayed 5 days and didn’t come out the room until 4-5pm The manager in the front of the hotel was very informative and nice (she’s about to get married) I forgot her name as well as the lady that worked a the front desk on wed and Thur evening. What brought this score down for me is the inconsistency with customer service and knowledge of specific topics with everyone else besides the colleagues I listed. Also no breakfast food to buy here besides the small Starbucks area in the front.

We stayed at the Chateau Grande this past weekend for a family member’s wedding at the park chateau next door. Driving up, the hotel feels like a luxury setting with beautiful grounds and valet service. However, that’s where the ‘luxury’ ends. We arrived around 9pm after a late flight. Front desk attendant said there was no room service offered at the hotel. We thought there had to be something nearby to walk for a quick bite. No luck. The only thing close by is the nursing home next door. We ended up taking an Uber to a north Brunswick diner. As for the room itself, very underwhelming for the price we paid. We booked a superior room. There was no body wash or amenity kit, no slippers nor robes, no drinking glasses (plastic cups only), and no coffee machine. This may seem insignificant to some, but when you’ve traveled and stayed at other luxury brands these things are the norm. We’ve had more enjoyable room experiences at the courtyard Marriott. As for the morning - no breakfast available. Only a ‘cafe counter’ at the front desk with overpriced coffee and reheated bagels. I can’t speak to the service since well….no services are offered other than checking in and housekeeping. Speaking of which - you only get one washcloth. When I asked the hotel staff for more since we were a couple - I was told they didn’t have any extra. Overall, this was a lackluster experience to say the least. The price they charged for rooms here does not match the services they offer. I would not stay here again.

After looking at several wedding venues, from the moment we walked into the Chateau Grande Hotel and met the event coordinator Hope Sedgwick, we knew that this is where we had to begin our journey. Hope gave us the confidence that she would be there through every step in the process, from answering all my questions, giving us all information, and sharing humorous stories to advise us along the way. She fulfilled every promise right up to the last moment of our wedding day. Not only being there for us as the Bride and Groom, but making sure that every member of our wedding party, family, and friends received the attention to make their day as fun and special as well. The best testimony we have received from so many guests was that this was one of the best weddings they've been too from service to food. As the Bride, I could not have asked for a better event coordinator who made my day flawless, or my Bridal attendant Samantha who was by my side the entire day making sure I always had everything I needed. This truly was the most magical day and I can not express my gratitude to the Chateau Grande Hotel team enough.

Josh At the front desk was very very kind incredible customer service. However, when going downstairs to the bar for a night cap.11:52pm Only to be greeted by a rude, comment ' I already called last call' ( male approx 5'8 height) Several other patrons still at the bar and I'm stuck here without transportation. That was a little weird.

Driving up the hotel looks amazing but….. Except incredibly rude staff. The valet staff was playing ball where they parked the cars and hitting the cars laughing. They also were talking about disgusting things. The security guard was horrible, rude and nasty. We tried to go to the garden which were part of the amenities and he went off on us. Since I didn’t pay 100k for a wedding I can’t go in there. I told the front desk and he said yeah it’s a problem because it’s on the amenities but we can’t use them. Later the security guard came in and they were hugging and fist pumping. Not one person greeted you with a smile. At checkout the woman just grabbed my key. Not even a thank you how was your stay. The room was small, no water pressure, and you could hear loud music even though we were on the third floor. The food wasn’t great either. Keep licking right past this hotel.

We came for a wedding, spend two nights and we loved it. Wedding was a huge success and the place is spotless. Food is great and the catering is perfection. I’d love they to have a pool, it will Make the place COMPLETE.

What an incredible destination to explore! It offers more than just dining; it's a complete experience. We began with the bacon, which they use a torch to finish cooking, creating a unique touch. The subsequent course featured their signature fresh bread, a true specialty of the restaurant. As for the main course, we opted for the mouthwatering beef steaks. Also, we ordered the lava cake.

The minute I stepped foot into The Chateau Grande I knew this was the wedding venue for us. It is elegant yet modern, and such a classy vibe. Everyone who works there is so helpful and so respectful. I had the honor of having Hope Sedgwick as my sales manager and she is such a sweet and amazing human being. She was there for me every step of the way during my wedding planning process as well and the day of my wedding making sure each and every detail was perfect. Hope is one who truly cares and puts so much work and effort to ensuring your day goes as perfect as possible. The space was perfect for the number of quests we had and all of my guests were blown away by the service and beauty of The Château Grande. I can’t rave enough about how perfect this venue is and just how amazing everyone is. Will definiste be coming back for anniversary’s to come. I have 0 regrets and will recommend this venue to anyone!!!!

The hotel is beautiful and the restaurant is very good. We stayed here for a friend's wedding. Brian from the hotels security staff helped us out at check in and assisted us with our children, he really went out of his way to ensure we had a flawless check in experience. I would highly recommend this hotel and their very efficient staff .

Impressive grounds . Comfortable beds. The Staff was cordial and professional. So much for the positive. First they do not answer their phones. The phone Message “your call is very important to us” no it’s not. If it was they’d answer the phone. Reserve on line. Upon checking in, the lobby/ bar was so loud it defies description. The front desk lady and I could barely hear each other. Probably why she didn’t answer the phone-couldn’t hear it ring. Had I not been so tired, I would’ve left. Advertised rate was $189, I expect taxes not a hidden $40 amenity fee. The amenities include 2 bottles of water, soap and body wash & a hair dryer. There is no coffee machine in the room. You have to go to the lobby. I did ask the front desk what the amenities were. Answer was”it’s a resort fee”. It may be a good place for events based on other reviews, unless you are looking to pay for “amenities” that don’t exist or a “ resort” fee, I’d would suggest the Best Western 15 minutes away.

A wonderful hotel! The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are modern, well-kept, and luxurious. The price was fair for what you get as well. I stayed here one night after a friend's wedding, and it's just so conveniently located less than 100 feet from the Park Chateau venue that you can't beat it at any price. The lobby bar is great too! Would highly recommend.

Stayed here... ummm, I don't want to tear this place down too hard, but it's nowhere near a 5 star establishment... on the outside, it's a BEAUTIFUL venue on the exterior, but once we got to the rooms... it was a motel 6. The toilet seat cover came off (meaning was not attached, just was sitting in place) completely when using the restroom, top and bottom, so sitting was a balance act, so you didn't fall in....🤦🏾‍♂️ Paint on the walls either didn't match or was peeling off. The shower... just check the pictures and make your own assessments.

I got married at The Park Chateau Estate and Gardens on March 10th and having The Chateau Grande Hotel as part of my wedding weekend made everything perfect. Though all my guests were well taken care of, as a bride, I found this especially to be true. They don't let you lift a finger, they think of every little detail so you don't have to and, above all, they're extremely accommodating and friendly during your entire stay. Do not walk, RUN to book here because I can assure you, you won't be disappointed.

As a wedding photographer at Delgado Studios, this has been one of my favorite venues to photograph in. My couples all thoroughly enjoyed this venue as well. The staff was simply amazing to work with. We found them friendly and extremely helpful. The grounds are also very photogenic. I photographed one of the first weddings here. Being very family with the Park Chateau next door, I found this space to be just as great. For any couples looking for a beautiful wedding venue, look no further.
