WE LOVE MY ENGAGEMENT RING!!! I went to Shin Brothers with my fiancee so we can get an idea of what type of ring I wanted. They had so many different designs and selections that I could try on. I actually chose about 4 different designs, then my fiancee chose this design shown below. The thing was that I was in LOVE with pear shaped diamond rings..but the sample they had was with a round stone :(! But they were able to create a whole new custom ring with the stone and size we wanted! Mr Shin and the employees were so patient and helpful throughout the entire process with recreating exactly what we wanted. It took about 2-3 weeks for them to create the custom mold with the pear shape and the setting. I do a lot of manual work at my job (+ continuous hand washing), so the design was made with a low set stone to prevent it from catching on sweaters and such. That was a super considerate part of the design! They kept us updated with photos of the entire process too. My fiancee was able to pick out the quality and color of the diamond, with extra education provided by the wonderful staff. My fiancee was so happy with the results and of course I LOVED IT!!!! It is certainly a one of a kind ring. You can literally do ANYTHING you want with the designs at their store. You can combine concepts of different rings you see. They can make anything in such great quality and prices. I am in love with my ring and the sturdiness of the design. I get compliments everywhere we go, but most of all, it reminds me of my fiancee! <3 I highly recommend going there to pick out your engagement/ wedding rings! THANK YOU so much! Richard and his wonderful team have done it again! Though I might be biased, Mr. Shin has been a part of my family for generations! My father knew him first, then my fiancée went to him for my engagement ring, and now we have the perfect wedding bands to complete our set! The entire team is professional, warm, inviting, and exceptional in their knowledge of the jewelry business. We were able to have our rings appraised for insurance purposes right in the same store! For our wedding bands, Michael, my husband, wanted to have engraving done on the inside of our bands for our wedding day with our initials and our wedding date; this turned out to be quite the challenge. Michael’s came out amazing and legible since he has a much bigger finger than I do, and even though I have a tiny 5.5 ring size… they managed to still put M&B (our first initials) with our wedding date of 10/07/2017. Whenever you visit, they are kind enough to clean your jewelry if asked. Anyone who is even THINKING about getting engaged this store is the first I recommend. He also has a wonderful arrangement of watches, and other jewelry that would be outstanding for any occasion! We love being a part of the Shin family. If you can't find it just show them or tell them what you want and they can design and make the jewelry for you. I had a great experience with the Shin Brothers. I desperately wanted to repair an extremely thin chained necklace that had been my favorite past decade. I visited MANY jewelers in NJ, but no one wanted to repair because of fragility. But Shin did it!! They repaired it on the same day. There are many professional employees there and do the repair job on site. Also, the cost for the repair job was VERY reasonable. I would highly recommend the Shin Brothers! Thanks again!!!!

I have recently purchased an engagement ring from Shin brothers and a few other pieces over the last decade or so. I am always very weary and cautious when dealing with car/jewelry/retail salesman ect. However after having many many encounters With Richard and his employees over the years I was able to let my guard down a little bit. This establishment treats there customers with respect, fairness and patience. They really do go the extra mile to earn your business and any concerns or doubts that you may have if you bring it to Richards attention he will address it. You get the sense that they prioritize having happy customers. After doing alot of shopping around I see that Shin brothers prices are very fair, which of course is a plus. Overall the experience was much better then I ever imagined it was going to be, and I will definitely be giving them my business as long as they are around. ! Thank you Shin brothers!

My two recent experiences with Shin Jewelers set a benchmark that other businesses should aspire to. First I brought in an Elgin pocket watch that had been my Grandfather’s, I knew little of the history of this watch, just that the stem was frozen. Mr. Shin opened the watch to examine and evaluate for repair. He recommended it be cleaned by their watch expert. When I went to pick up the watch Mr. Shin told me the history and design of the watch. It was a wonderful and personal experience. Our second experience was selecting an anniversary ring for my Wife for our 50th anniversary, the salesperson we dealt with along with the Shin’s we’re very patient and my Wife ended up with a ring that she cherishes. We love the personal service offered by Shin Brothers.

I have known Mr. Shin for over 40 years. Our first business transaction occurred during the US 1 flea market days. He was very professional then and to this day remains so.
