This school is beyond amazing ! I been here for a year and everyday I was fulfill with encouragement and positive feedback starting from the beginning of my journey to the very end! Most amazing people help you through the whole process. From the people that help you sign up to the teachers, all around an incredible experience. I recommend anyone who want to get their high school diploma to do it here at the Adult Learning Center in New Brunswick!!! In the beginning I was wondering if I can? if this was really something I can accomplish? but with help,encouragement,and of-course hard work THIS can really happen. Now I feel like many doors will open for me and my future. It all starts with one step, so please take it and trust me from the door you will feel a beyond welcoming comfort while being in this school.

I started coming to New Brunswick Adult Learning Center when i was 18 years old living in my friends basement. Before i started coming here i had no idea what life had to offer me. It was not until i started coming here that i wanted to better my self, set myself up for success, a education and career. All the staff members have helped me in there own way. All the teachers and staff have motivated me to want to further my education and never give up. After a years worth of hard work and dedication I finally received my high school diploma. i couldn't have done it without the help and support of everyone at the New Brunswick Adult Learning Center.

My experience at the new Brunswick adult learning center was a great one. The staff here are really amazing, and caring . They helped me learn all the things I needed to learn so I can achieve in getting my my high school diploma. They gave me confidence to take the exam when I had nothing but doubt in myself .For the first time in my life I felt overwhelmed with joy and proud of my self for achieving this goal. If it wasn't for the amazing teachers and staff here I honestly don 't think I would've of done this on my own. I'll forever be indebted to everyone here at The New Brunswick adult learning center for not giving up on me and pushing me for success

I loved my experience with the Adult Learning Center. I volunteered here as a Rutgers student to come in as a mentor. Honestly, I got so much from the program that I never expected that I would. The people that I worked with (staff and students) were amazing and at times it felt like I was being mentored too. There were so many people that I built a strong relationship with and I was able to just talk about life and being a better person. This experience led me to not only help them to become better people and students, but I also became so much better in both areas. The growth I went through because of this program has had such an impact on my life to have a more positive outlook, be more resilient, and just be more appreciative as a person. I am thankful for my time serving the adult learning center and I’m hopeful to meet the individuals I spent time with here later on at the top. I have become much more confident and understanding because of my experience here and I hope the individuals I worked with can say I impacted them in a positive way too.

I was here for my high school diploma, I really felt at home, the Teacher's were amazing always there to support and encourage you.if you are down and don't know what to do you can count on them. the counselors at the office they were very pleasant and also there for you at all times also saying to you ,you can do it .great people. I say thanks to you all for making me achieve my goal .Thanks once again and God Bless you all.

If it wasn't for the support of the team at the Adult Learning Center that kept me going with the extra push to get my GED I wouldn't have been able to do it on my own. I can finally say I am a high school graduate. Thank you all for your help and your support!

I had a wonderful experience while attending the Adult Learning Center. The teachers were very helpful and very Inspiring. i would highly recommend anyone to join the Programs offered here in order to obtain their High School Diploma or to higher their scores on the Tabe Test. i will always remember the Individual one on one help that I received here. Interning here has been one of the most amazing experiences for me. The teachers, counselors and faculty all want everyone to succeed and push the students to reach their potential. The community created here in the classroom is something that I cannot express into words. The students in the class want you to succeed and try to help you academically or personally. I suggest anyone looking to pursue their education to come here. You won’t regret it!

Want to first off thanks Edna Urgilez for being so helpful and polite in my journey. She helped me feel confident and also helped me in many ways like coming up with another date so I can retake one subject I had failed and passed the second time. The test and the instructions just everything in overall was very smooth and easy. I highly recommend anyones who’s tryna to get their Gde to come to this school.

I had a great experience interning at the Adult Learning Center through the Collaborative Mentoring Program through Rutgers University. The counselors are very friendly and supportive, and were open to answering any questions I had. The work they do here is so important and I am happy that I was able to be a part of it!

Excellent school. I was able to pass the Tasc Exam in less than 2 months with the help of the whole staff. Teachers did an amazing job as well as the counselors. Thank you New Brunswick Adult Learning Center!
