Nice atmosphere, extremely friendly and kind staff. Very cozy place to spend time, they have some board games and some customers also working there with their laptops. Persian ice-cream and caffe latte are very good!

This place is so good we came back the next morning!! That girl bowl & honey bear latte are amazing but the baked goods are where it’s at! The owners, Josephine & Mo are fantastic! To clear up the tip issue others posted abt.. electronic tips go to back of house workers cash tips go to baristas. Support local & go to this place. Be happy!

Came to friends cafe for the first time as we live in LA and decided to stop by based on reviews and we definitely weren't disappointed. All the items we had were absolutely delicious and would not hesitated to order them again. The pastries were some of the best we have had as well as the food that was just as delicious. The owners were also very friendly, welcoming and helpful to make our experience great. Would definitely recommend and will for sure return when I'm in the area.

Went to friends Cafe for the first time today. The NB dog walk group meet up there. The Cafe is pet friendly. The owner is so nice and the food is fantastic. Check it out you will love it

I was looking for a coffee shop that wasn’t a commercial franchise with a very chill vibe , great coffee & if it had food outside of avocado toast that was a bonus! I just looked up some coffee shops nearby & this was on my list. I decided to give it a try & let me tell you it did not disappoint! When I walked in there was a guy playing the guitar & it was soooo soothing ! I was greeted which is important to me as a consumer, the barista was very nice, informative & answered all my questions. I met the owner and his daughter & they both were really nice and pleasant! I ordered the iced honey bear with oatmilk and it was delicious, strong but not bitter. For food I ordered the Persian steak rice bowl and O M G ! It was my first time having it but hands down the best rice bowl I’ve ever had ! When my food and drink was ready it was brought to my table where I was studying. If you’re nearby & want to try a coffee shop with real food and chill vibes please do yourself a favor & go to friends !

Super chill place. Great service. Delicious food, drinks, desserts. I personally had the avocado toast with a cappuccino (oat milk) which I appreciated. Their desserts are hard to resist! Will come back with friends again.

LOVE THIS PLACE! randomly choose it because i needed somewhere to work and it was so pleasant. the food was delicious, i got the chicken sandwich and a caramel iced coffee. truly enjoyed it.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Great drinks, great set up, great owners. I’ve gone here for months and am always happy to be here. My favorites: Hot Bi#%h (but with hot coffee), cookie skillet, any breakfast sandwich Out door seating on any nice day is good too

They have such great pastries. My absolute favorite is their mixed berry danish. The tomato soup is also amazing. It has become my go to place for lunch, brunch, snacks. I am particularly fond of it because of the dog friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended for people living in New Brunswick.

Their saffron ice cream and faloodeh are highly recommended. I think it would be really great if the owner sold the saffron ice cream per pound for parties just like akbar mashti does.

Love this place. Food is fresh and delicious the coffee is great. The owner is such a great person and seems to realy love talking with customers. The staff are happy and polite. Dog friendly is a plus for us. Great decor.

Super cute little cafe filled with students and locals. They have a wall of pet photos from their guests which is super cute and two cozy couches to sit at. The food is so yummy. I especially love the bowls which are super filling, the frozen espresso, and the apple tart. Everyone working is so friendly and the endearing owner guy is usually around on weekends chit chatting with the regulars. Its a great place!

My family has been coming here since the day they opened- it’s our favorite place in New Brunswick! My son loves all the macaroons. We had a few issues with our breakfast and Mo the owner was kind enough to bring us a new meal TO OUR DOORSTEP (we live one block a way) By the far the best costumer service around and it does not go unappreciated. We love friends- definitely check it out!

Easily the best cafe in New Brunswick, run by the husband & wife team Mo & Josephine - they build relationships with their regulars and treat their employees like family. It's such a lovely place, and it really is the center of a community :)

I saw Friends Cafe on my way to work last week. I stopped to take a photo because it reminded me of a hip Cafe that one would find in SoHo, NJ. Today I visited the Cafe for the first time. The owners and staff are amazing; everyone is so warm and welcoming. Josephine has so many detectable desserts you don't know what to try first. Her rainbow cookie HIGHLY recommended! Friends Cafe is a must stop if you are ever in New Brunswick.

A perfect and quaint cafe! Cozy seating on the inside, outdoor tables (tented and not tented), fresh breakfast, great coffee, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. They have an assortment of Persian foods and you absolutely have to try their croissants! A must visit if you’re in the New Brunswick area.

What an adorable café! We were thrilled to discover Persian dishes on the menu, and the Baghali Polo and Albaloo Polo were absolutely delicious. The owner was exceptionally kind and hospitable, treating us to chai and gaz for dessert. We will certainly return!

Excellent place to eat and enjoy coffee. Every one from the owner to the employees were delightful and friendly. The atmosphere was cheerful and welcoming with an outdoor patio. Inside is pet friendly and friends theme. Would highly recommend this place to visit

The atmosphere and service is what makes this place so great. In addition their coffees and drinks are absolutely fabulous. For a college town stop it’s nice, however the food is not the best. The grilled chicken sandwich is just a soft chicken patty between bun with Heinz sauce, likewise waffles are golden malt…Not great, but I would still return for the coffee and drinks anyday! Also it’s pet friendly which is a plus.
