Great staff, Great food. They are good at what they do here. I’d get the burger but the breakfast menu slaps too!

The burgers are absolutely fantastic! I went just to check them out cause I kept coming across this place on suggestion lists, and now I keep going back. The pretzel is boring, but the pierogis are so good I'd suggest stopping to check them out on their own if you're in the area. The service here is good and the staff are friendly, but one example stands out in particular. The first time I went there the faucet in the men's room had barely any water running, and though there was hand sanitizer it was still kinda ehhhhh. I told the bartender and she checked with someone else and told me they knew and were on it. She also volunteered the assurance that the staff all use hand sanitizer anyway. I'll admit, I thought, "Yeaaaaaah 'somebody' will take care of it. Whatever" cause, c'mon, that's how some places are. Not here at all. I went back two days later and that faucet worked better than my own at home. Very impressed that when they said they'd address something they really followed through and did it quickly. It speaks to being a place that actually cares about quality and service in all aspects. And again, the burgers are amazing 👌

The peanut butter and jelly hamburger was super good. I would prob not add the bacon 🥓 so much meat. But the fries 🍟 we’re super good too. Want to go back during happy hour on Wednesday.

Outstanding food. Every time we’re out in St. Paul we have to stop at burger dive. We’ve never had bad food here, everything is always above and beyond. They have a ton of different styles of burgers and even a fish sandwich and lobster roll. If you’re in the mood for breakfast they also do a great brunch. If you’re in the area, stop in. You won’t be disappointed.

I tried the turkey burger which had stuffing and came with a side of cranberry sauce. Was very delicious and filling. Also had a side of fries. The waitress was super nice and genuine. I like the vibe here, similar to Tony Jaros location. Will be coming back for some more burgers!

The only thing that outshined the atmosphere and quality of the food was the charisma of the bartender. Miss Janea was attentive, tactful, and always seemed to be smiling and making sure the rest of us were having a good time. I had the Deviled Eggs, Mushroom ń Swiss, and Fries with a Heineken Zero. The Deviled Eggs were well presented, on a bed of lettuce, and topped with a cruton. Little strong on the mustard for my taste, though it added a slight kick. The Mushroom ń Swiss was cooked just right, tender with a reasonable amount of mushrooms and enough Swiss cheese to hold everything together. Served with a bag of kettle chips and a stack of cucumber slices. The Fries were crisp, salted just enough, and even tasted great just by themselves with no sauce. The Heineken Zero paired well with everything learning to the fact that the menu is definitely keeping hoppy drinks in mind. All in all TL;dr this was by far one of my most enjoyable lunch experiences of 2023.

When a place can blend their bar feel and restaurant vibe together and not hurt their “feel” they tend to do alright. The BDB has them coming and going at a pretty good pace as well as a few on bar stools that going anywhere for awhile. They offer burgers and some breakfast stuff and have TVs on many walls. Pull tabs are available to help support something somewhere. Our burgers arrived 15 or so minutes after ordering. On average it’s about 15$ for a burger and fries which is the standard anymore. My burger was ok. Salt was the overwhelming flavor which made it a tough eat. If I lived in the neighborhood I’d probably swing in again but with so many burger places around why not just try another. Enjoy!

Great local hangout vibe. Classic neighborhood corner bar with good food. What other "dive bar" has a lobster roll on the menu. If you've been to 1029 in NE Mpls you need to come here. St. Paul is a nice place ;)

The original burger was amazing! Loved the pickles! Fries were almost as good as Matt's. And great service at the bar. Will be back to try the perogies.

Great service!! We sat at the bar on a Sunday night to watch some football, sadly, it was only the bartender running food out and pouring drinks. Nevertheless this bartender SMASHED the service. He was running all over but we never felt like we had to wait and he was always so nice to us and everyone else! Thank you! Great spot, we’ll be back for karaoke 🎤

When it's good, it's really good and when it's not good it's just ok. The burgers are good as are the pretzel and chicken fingers (but they need to add honey mustard to the menu). Skip the perogies as they were over cooked and dry when I had them. There are still more delicious items to try on their menu. Service is hit, then hit then miss. It's an imperfect thumbs up from me.

Yum! We were craving a burger and decided to try Burger Dive out and I’m so glad we did! The jalapeño cheese curds were soooo good the batter was so flavorful and delicious (though not really sure why they’re called jalapeño cheese curds… they’re just cheese curds with raw sliced jalapeños on top haha). I had the house burger and my partner had the wedge burger. We were both very satisfied! The food came out super quick and tasted fresh and delicious. Definitely would recommend!

the fact that you can get an incredible burger AND pierogis in the same hopping dive should be enough to warrant a visit, but then the wings...oh, the WINGS. perfectly fried, juicy behemoths of chicken so well prepared I couldn't quite believe it. it's a good thing this place isn't in my neighborhood, otherwise I'd be here near daily.

Cute and clean dive bar in Saint Paul, bigger than I expected it to be! We came on karaoke night, and it was certainly a karaoke night! We both got burgers, a side of fries and 2 drinks each. Food was pretty good! Fries were pretty much less salty McDonald’s fries. Also they over charged me for my twisted tea, which states it’s $4 on the menu, but on the bill says it’s $5.50. Just be cautious of that! Fun crowd as well. Overall we had a good time.

One of my coworkers brought me here, and I have to say, the Mushroom swiss burger was phenomenal! Tots were perfect, hot crispy. My son had the banana pancakes, and he was amazed by the size. I will have to come back for more. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. It's definitely worth a drop-in.

they have good burgers. the name is succinct, proves the mission. they have chicken sammiches, too. cheese curds with cheese sauce and pickled jalapenos...just right, not hot. fries are simple, good. burgers have varieties you will like, including impossible for buds who dig non-meat. tjis place is what you WILL like. frsh tasting salted and cooked as it ought to. no gimmicks. all delizhiznizz. btw, old fashions are goodski as the many beer choices. if you are hungry, go. you WILL enjoy. *Morgan was outstanding. Great service and super personality.

Their small menu offered a selection of some fire burgers, each prepared with love. The customer service was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff. The cozy atmosphere added to the overall experience. I highly recommend this place for if your in the area looking for a burger and beer The mushrooms are 🤌🏾🤌🏾
