Full disclosure: I’m Korean. Don’t order from or visit here. [Combo Bop] I ordered chicken and pork with level 5 sauce. Too sweet. Actually, I can say this is the worst cupbop that I had in my life. You can tell how poor and low the ingredients’ quality is just with a bite. [Gyoza and Mandoo] are almost like the same. Actually 99 percent the same. Just fried frozen mandoo or dumpling or gyoza whatever you call it that you can buy at the asian market and have after you fry them in the oil until they get dried. Not recommend. Also, what a shame as a Korean that lots of people will experience Korean food with this low quality Korean food restaurant.

I come here almost weekly for lunch. The food is always fast and fresh. My first visit I ordered ramen and it was delicious. They even accommodated me by substituting veggie broth since I don’t eat pork. Great service.

I have a huge respect on Mr. Jung. turning this cupbop into a cultural sensation. So during my short v visit to SLC, I tried it. I'm not a picky eater but I couldnt finish it... too much sauce and too sweet. Mix of coleslaw, japchae, over sweetened chicken, and rice with again more sauces... I tried only because I heard about cupbop on media and Mr Jung's speeches coast to coast. I have to be honest, but not for korean customers I guess. This is americanized korean bop (which is fine, just not many Koreans from Korea would love so much). I threw out 2/3 of my order and went elsewhere for dinner. .. also, ingredients are not that good either as I can see many Koreans already addressed in previous comments. Maybe try some good Korean restaurants in LA or NY (unless you are actually going to Korea).

I normally don't visit this location but I figured since I was downtown I would... they don't fill up your bowl the same way the other locations do. pretty disappointing for how expensive this fast food is. will not be back.

Visiting from Florida to Salt Lake, we were directed here from a local that worked at the museum. I ordered Ramen 930, my buddy ordered the Black Garlic Ramen, both with extra egg. The food was excellent and for once, when advertised, the Ramen was spicy. Service was excellent and timely. If we ever come back to Salt Lake, we will be visiting again.

Pretty interesting twist on Korean BBQ - fast food. I really enjoyed my meal. I went with the chicken and beef combo with Cupbob Special sauce. Digging the noodles. Interesting use of sauces and meats make it pretty unique. The staff was very friendly. I went here for dinner, but this is more of a lunch type meal. I had to go home and check out the Shark Tank episode. Good deal, nice to see the American Dream in action. Pictures posted.

Cool spin on Korean takeout. Good food, fast service in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City. Definitely will visit again if I'm in the area.

I'll just be honest about the food. It was decent. There were a few things that stopped me from being a 5 star review. 1. The rice in the bowl was way overdone. To me it had a similar consistency to minute rice and for 14 dollars for a bowl, the rice should be worth it 2. The pork was a bit on the dry side but the flavor was good 3. The kimchi was killer however the side that comes with the meal is like 3 bites and that's a no go. Overall a decent amount of food, slightly overpriced but still worth the trip

Now that it's combined with cupbop it's more fast food ramen, not meant to be enjoyed in house but To Go. Pretty decent taste, but the quality isn't what I thought would be looking at past pictures and past reviews.

So delicious. I sampled 3 separate cupbop options: Piggy Bop (BBQ pork), Ugly Bop (fried chicken), and B Bop (korean BBQ). I would recommend the Piggy Bop out of the three but you can’t go wrong. staff was the sweetest!

I really liked the food that was served to me. It tasted really good and I would eat this again. The beef was super good and it had a good combo with rice. The service was nice, and they are good at trying to give us some different foods. The atmosphere looks very positive and I love their service. Thank you

As an avid lover of Korean cuisine, I recently stumbled upon the sensational delight that is Korean Cup Bop, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. This convenient and The convenience factor of Korean Cup Bop is another winning attribute. Whether you're a busy professional, a student on-the-go, or simply looking for a hassle-free meal option, this portable delight has got you covered. The cup itself acts as a vessel for all the ingredients, including the fluffy steamed rice at the base. It's an all-in-one meal that requires no additional utensils or preparation, making it perfect for those moments when time is of the essence.delicious meal has become my go-to option for a quick, satisfying lunch or dinner. Here's why I believe Korean Cup Bop deserves high praise: First and foremost, the flavors are absolutely fantastic. Each cup is a harmonious blend of fresh ingredients that dance together on your palate, creating a symphony of taste. From the tender slices of marinated beef to the vibrant assortment of vegetables, such as crisp carrots, crunchy bean sprouts, and tangy kimchi, every component adds its unique touch to the overall flavor profile. The combination of savory, sweet, and spicy notes will leave your taste buds begging for more.

Overall I enjoyed a fun take on Korean food. If you want something fun and pop Feelin' for a quick bit I'd recommend here. The Good: the staff was nice, cashier kiosk were easy to use, affordable enough, atmosphere was fun and lively. The food: I got the combo boo with beef B bop and krunchy chicken. The beef was well seasoned and was salty but zesty as well. The chicken texture on the outside was fine the meat inside to me might be a little overcooked. However, I realized with sauce on the side it was fine(I did a sauce level of 3). The side of kimchi was a little overpriced and a little more soupy than I'm used to. What I'd redo: I'd get less rice, it was a lot with the noddles and meat. I'd at least do sauce level of 5. I wouldn't get the kimchi again. I'd check out there other meats cause it all sounded amazing!

I generally don’t eat Korean bbq type food but felt like trying something new and was in the area. This was an awesome experience. Rice, noodles, protein (beef/chicken/pork) all had amazing flavor. I will definitely remember this place and be back.

I had an unpleasant experience when it came to a worker adding money to their tip from my card that I did not leave. I contacted corporate as I couldn’t reach anyone in the store after multiple calls. They handled it quickly and professionally. Still one of my favorite places to eat! Just make sure to always be careful with cards and people adjusting tips. This could’ve happened anywhere.

Abagail and Camilla helped me out in the front and they are such lovely individuals. They were super kind and very quick getting me my food. They went above and beyond to get me everything that I requested. The music that they played was so much fun. I really loved the variety. I’ve always had a good experience at this location, but Camilla and Abagail made this time like no other. I had a blast and feel like I have made 2 new best friends. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a good time.

I was skeptical at first, but I was amazed with this Korean food chain. The food was amazing. I got the Hot Bop which is a pork bowl with rice, salad, noodles, and the whole bowl is covered in a super savory, spicy sauce. It was insanely good. The pork was super tender and well seasoned, the noodles were exactly like japchae which was incredible, and the salad was more like a light coleslaw with a ton of flavor and sweet crunch to help give variety in the spicy, fatty bowl. The mandoo (fried dumplings) were good but you only get 3 pieces! I could’ve easily eaten the whole bowlful of them. I also got an extra side of noodles because they were just that good! Overall this is an insane experience for a Korean chain restaurant. I will definitely order from here in the future!
