Great little bistro, if you need a coffee or cake, cocktails or just a beer. Or just a light bite to eat you must try this amazing little find.

First visit to Sands of Tyne today - tasty toasties, a warm welcome, and a great range of local beers in the fridges. I’ll definitely be back!

Excellent. Quality coffee, tea, wine and beer in a lovely setting. Affordable prices (£2.50 for regular latte, £5.00 for 250ml house Rioja, £4.50 for pint of house lager). Bigger than it looks (11+ tables inside). Dog friendly indoors. Oat/coconut milk alternatives available.

A nice little bar/coffee shop where there really isn't any competition. The coffee and cake options are nice but it also has a decent range of draft beers and a selection of decent cans. Wine selection is nice and the place overall has a nice atmosphere. It can get pretty busy which is a good thing and there is an extra room at the back of you need more space. Overall, if you are passing, give it a try and I doubt you'd be unhappy.

First time here, brilliant place. Didn't realise how big this place is. Will definitely be back

Had been before and had a lovely experience but my visit today was very disappointing. They had run out of many food items, but I settled on a spicy meatball panini, however there were no meatballs in it just some small bits of meat. There was barely any filling in at all and next to no mozzarella totally dry and not worth my money.

Been here a few times and noticed that many items on the menu are often missing. Additionally, the option of cream and full fat milk are not given when drinking coffee.

Really snug and lovely atmosphere. Great for a midweek coffee or drink on a Friday evening!
