Been using Passage now for the last few months and there curry pizza are just fantastic

Our favourite Indian takeaway in the North East, not once have we had an unpleasant dining experience from here, staff are always willing to make allowances for my wife's obsessive garlic consumption, my addiction their meat samosas and the kids loving the pizzas, would highly recommend to anyone!

100% recommended we ordered chicken Korma vegetable rice and garlic nan delivery tonight received very fast and meal was very hot the nicest takeaway we've had Quick delivery loads of chicken large enough for 3 won't go any were else a large thank you to you your chef and especially the young lady who took our order so very polite many thanks Steve

After a shaky few months it looks like my favourite Indian takeaway is back! Just had a cracking meal and you wouldn't know it was from the 9.95 Thursday special. Good, tasty, spicy food. Well worth a visit.

Unbelievable authentic tasty food this is the best takeaway by far in north Shields. This was highly recommended by a friend and it's now our favourite place to take out!! Food is scrumptious, prompt delivery.

Curry lovely as always, tiny bits of meat on mixed grill pizza which was a shame but still ok and onion bhajis were a bit disappointing as were bland and tasteless. Think I will stick to the curry/indian food :)

I've been ordering from Passage to India for years now. The staff are really nice, the food is good quality and the prices are very reasonable. The munch box is one of our family favourites - the garlic chips are fantastic. Highly recommended.

absolutely awful, i lived in the UAE for most of my life and i just came back to the north east. The butter chicken tasted like custard, for 7 quid that is outrageous Tandoori chicken weird tasting Garlic Nan tasted like bread, not even nan bread. Only good thing was the biryani Im sorry but you need a new chef ASAP

Great food at a reasonable price. Very few restaurants can cook lamb as good as this. Highly recommended.

Me and my boyfriend john eat here often. The owners are really friendly. Our fave is the Chicken Biriani, which is great value, and very tasty. We have also had the Thursday night special, which is a amazing value for money! The chicken pakora are also amazing. We have voted them our fave takeaway for the BTAs

I placed an order online but it turned out that I had ordered the wrong dish. However when i called to query Passage To India even offered to replace my order at no extra cost, which I declined as it was my fault. I can't fault their customer service or their food which is always great.

Food used to be amazing ..ordered from my friends house 2nite nearly £40 ..mixed kebab starters and salad with mint sauce and garlic chips lovely..garlic nan extra garlic tasted like it was sprinkled with a jar of roasted garlic yuck ..extra garlic main curry sauce was tastless with no garlic and a stale taste.. Chicken Vindaloo no heat and very little flavour and that old stale spice taste the rest went in the bin..we ordered a b4 xmas it was lush..looks like leaving it for another few months b4 we try again..very disappointed

I ordered chicken curry, boiled rice is shop , plus special curry, taxi home no sauce for curry, took another 20 minutes to come, sauce well not enough to cover 1/4 of beriania, , don't bother will not be ordering again, second time they messed it up,

Onion Bhajis OK but not much taste, main meal looked nice but very bland not much taste at all. Dissapointed as used to be a nice Indians. Will be looking elswhere in future.

Last few times I ordered onion bhaji and they where very hard and over cooked. Main meal was ok but not hot. I ordered through just eat on Saturday 18th Sep.

Was Craving to have Samosa today..and I found this restaurant where I ordered 2 samosas directly from the restaurant. Got home, opened and saw uncooked Samosas..very disappointing

Not the best unfortunately. No mint sauce with onion bhajis, nan bread not cooked properly & had never seen inside of a tandoor, curry average, rice was soggy & old. Sorry but just not good quality for price.

Keema Naan's are just the best , staff are really friendly too.

I wouldn't recommend a pizza. It took eating 5 slices before there was some meat. When calling to query this I was met with pure rudeness. His response was "well I don't know what you want me to do, if I send another pizza then it will be exactly the same" - try stop being tight and send a pizza with meat on rather than just sauce. He then hung up. Nice way to get repeat custom 👌

Best Indian takeaway in North Tyneside. Consistently good food.

Ordered for the first time and overall experience was sort of neutral. Nothing out of the ordinary special. It tastes similar to other Indian takeaways. Names are a bit different but the core remains the same. Will say that I will only be returning if I am nearby and can't be bothered to go to any other place.

Fabulous food and delivery service, the East Bengal lamb tikka with special mix pilau was gorgeous. Huge chunks of lamb with cheeky chilli's hidden throughout. Highly recommended.

Im sorry to do this but we have been using for a while and standards have dropped. Food ordered tonight wasnt very good. Very watery one main meal and much smaller portions all round inc chicken and starters etc. Please get better as we are used to better quality or wr will find elsewhere .... So sad ?????

Amazing!!! Got a Bhuna (extra spicy) with a Chilli Naan (not on the menu but they made them for me on request). They were both amazing - chicken was cooked perfectly and it tasted awesome! Best curry I've had in a long time. (The last one was from here too). Also I had just got back from my holidays and had my suitcase and bags with me, and they gave me a lift home!!! Now that is an amazing service!
