Excellent
location
at
the
CBD
of
Juba,
close
to
major
government
offices,
the
Green
zone,
USA/
EU/
China
embassies
etc
and
on
high
elevation
that
is
not
likely
to
flood.
Hotel
has
ambient
green
spaces
for
outdoor
dinning
besides
a
well
kept
swimming
pool.
Rooms
are
large
enough,
well
lit
and
have
basic
furniture
adequate
for
indoor
working.
However
since
the
hotel
is
one
of
the
oldest
in
Juba,
some
of
the
bathroom
fittings
sometimes
produce
unpleasant
odours.
Management
should
enhance
insects/
pests
control
especially
for
cockroaches.
Breakfast
is
basic
with
East
African
delicacies,
but
could
be
improved.
For
example,
don't
expect
brewed
coffee
which
is
an
easy
recipe.
However
you
could
order
fresh
brewed
coffee
from
the
bar
at
an
additional
fee.
All
is
all,
the
Regency
is
a
good
destination
for
middle
class
travelers
not
willing
to
explore
the
few
available
five
star
hotels
located
downtown
Juba
like
the
Palm
Africa,
Imperial
Plaza,
Radison
Blu
and
the
Pyramid
hotel.
