Attended a workshop here. The place has gone through renovations, it looks good. It looks like a popular conference facility, they had alot of meetings planned that day. The conference room is ok, they serve snacks within the same room and lunch is served at The newly refurbished restaurant, they even have a VIP lounge. The bathrooms are very clean with someone nearby who cleans them regularly. The food is very fresh - also they have a lot of meetings, so I'm guessing the turnover is high. They have garden space around the restaurant and swimming pool. The garden is mature and beautiful, providing a cool space in Juba's heat. The pool is pristine and very inviting.

My go to spa in Juba. They have a clean sizable pool, a sauna and steam room etc. their prices are pretty fair for Juba standard. The restaurant is also nice, their food is well priced and cooking is average.

I enjoyed my stay here. The food, and friendly staff made up for most of their shortcomings. I am sure I might carry some roaches home because that's how many there were. They have the best pancakes and crepes. I loved those during breakfast, Akelo was lovely and very attentive, so was Victoria and Judi, William and Achiel the butlers were also great. The fish, mostly had freezer burn, and the roast chicken was amazing.

Clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Breakfast is delicious and the outside bar next to the pool is lovely in the evenings. Known to have good security as well. Aircon in rooms but showers can be a little weak.

I stayed for 5 days and had to change hotels because the room they gave me had a smelly bathroom plus the below issues, I do not recommend staying here due to: i. The rooms - they have a cockroach infestation, and I hope I did not carry any insects in my luggage.ii. The gym - only one machine is working, and it is in a state of disrepair.iii. The breakfast - there are very few options.iv. The food, in general, was good; however, my colleague experienced diarrhea.v. The internet is very slow. I only stayed here because it was close to the place where I had meetings every day. Please avoid this place. Croackroaches everywhere.

Someone stole my stuff from luggage room, good location but not safe, no compensation from management. Very bad experience.

Functional facilities, decent looking hotel. Lunch and dinner itself is delicious. Need to improve cleaning team, showers not cleaned/ scrubbed the entire two weeks, rooms are refreshed with bare minimum cleaning. Front end staff inconsistent with pricing when you try to pay. US$ preferred over local currency. Restaurant service needs improvement, most waiters do not engage, you can sit there for 30 minutes - no one will attend you; the pretty pictures on the menu do not align to the menu list items - which causes confusion for both guests and waiters. Food takes long, they take orders and disappear - for them to come back 45 min later to say they don't have the item. I experienced this twice, my colleague experienced the same on a different occasion. The chef had to come out to clear confusion and apologize on one instant. If you communicate and ask, they make an effort to correct.

Juba Regency Hotel is a conducive place. Very clean and good food. The rooms are clean and well kept. It stands out for those who are looking for an good place to put up while in Juba, South Sudan

Excellent location at the CBD of Juba, close to major government offices, the Green zone, USA/ EU/ China embassies etc and on high elevation that is not likely to flood. Hotel has ambient green spaces for outdoor dinning besides a well kept swimming pool. Rooms are large enough, well lit and have basic furniture adequate for indoor working. However since the hotel is one of the oldest in Juba, some of the bathroom fittings sometimes produce unpleasant odours. Management should enhance insects/ pests control especially for cockroaches. Breakfast is basic with East African delicacies, but could be improved. For example, don't expect brewed coffee which is an easy recipe. However you could order fresh brewed coffee from the bar at an additional fee. All is all, the Regency is a good destination for middle class travelers not willing to explore the few available five star hotels located downtown Juba like the Palm Africa, Imperial Plaza, Radison Blu and the Pyramid hotel.

Nice food. Great variety, fresh and tasty. Comfortable beds but the bathrooms need an upgrade. Great service from the friendly staff. Overall great experience.

Not recommended at all. Incompetent staff and therefore terrible service. Being currently renovated, which means nothing works and there is unbearable noise starting 7 AM everyday. Why not just close the hotel until renovations are complete rather than torturing poor guests? Never again!

Very good asset, but very poorly managed property.

The rooms are great: 3-4 stars. The restaurant is lamentable. They get orders wrong, you wait up to 45 minutes only to be told they don’t have what you ordered. Eventually (after 2-3 hours) you eat mediocre, often overcooked, food. Apparently hamburgers are cheese and ham burgers 🙄

A good budget hotel. I still visit the restaurant regularly...their whole, steamed tilapia tastes lovely and combined with a salad, a lot of food at a very reasonable price.

I stayed here from 23rd to Feb 13 2019. The rooms are big and have dstv. There is gym, swimming pool and 2 restaurants. The air conditioners work great. They offer breakfast, and buffet supper. However, they have some hygiene issues. The sink where you wash your hands before/after eating breakfast in Asmara restaurant are always very dirty in the morning hours. In fact, I had to change to bed only for fear of getting sick. I spoke to the manager about it but he didn't seem bothered.
