Quite
a
decent
pool
in
the
Metland
housing
complex
for
daily
swim.
It’s
semi-olympic
11x25
meters,
enough
for
doing
continuous
laps.
Morning
is
the
best
time
for
a
quiet
swim.
Afternoon/evening
is
usually
swarmed
with
swim
lessons
&
schools.
Management-wise,
I’m
heavy-hearted
for
not
being
able
to
give
an
optimistic
review
for
these
reasons:
1.
The
pool
is
not
managed
professionally.
2.
7
out
of
10
times,
nobody
can
be
seen
at
the
ticket
counter.
3.
Membership
procedure
is
wishy-washy.
4.
Murky
water
with
underwater
visibility
of
only
3-4
meters.
5.
Bathroom
is
very
embarrassing...always
dark
(which
is
why
the
male
bathroom’s
door
is
always
kept
open,
but
it
is
located
right
in
front
of
the
pool!).
It
is
always
dirty,
dusty,
hot
&
stuffy.
Showers
&
toilets
locks
are
all
broken.
Clothes
hangers
are
all
broken.
Toilet
bowl
has
a
large
broken
chip.
Broken
lightbulb.
Uncovered
shower
drains.
Rotting
shower
wooden
doors.
Dirty
mirrors
&
sinks.
6.
There’s
no
basic
amenities
like
soap,
tissue
&
trash
can
in
the
bathroom.
7.
Not
enough
tables
&
chairs,
and
they
are
rusty.
8.
Unclean
floor
surrounding
the
pool.
9.
They
allow
smoking
around
the
pool.
10.
It
doesn’t
seem
that
they
pay
attention
to
servicing
the
humanistic
elements.
They
have
just
increased
the
membership
fee
by
43%
from
350K
to
500K.
I
don’t
know
why
such
a
steep
increase.
Perhaps
Metland
is
transformation
into
a
modern
high-tech
&
high-rise
city.
I
hope
they’ll
use
this
increase
to
transform
the
pool
facilities
as
well
from
that
of
‘kampung’
to
that
of
modern
city
living.

I’m
pleased
some
improvements
have
been
made:
1.
Clothes
hangers
have
been
replaced.
Although
the
broken
old
ones
have
been
left
where
they
were.
2.
Underwater
visibility
is
now
10-12
meters.

1.
Underwater
visibility
is
back
to
4-5
meters.
2.
Green
&
brown
growth
is
starting
to
be
visible
on
the
floor
of
the
pool.
3.
Despite
repeated
notice
to
4
different
staff
members
about
the
missing
bathroom
light
bulb
in
over
3
weeks,
nothing
has
been
done
yet!
I
guess
change
comes
at
a
sleeping
snail’s
pace
here...
4.
Found
the
skeleton
of
a
dead
lizard
in
one
of
the
bathroom
stalls
that
looks
like
has
been
there
for
weeks.
