This place doesn't exist here anymore. It is a motel 6 now and somehow your reservation for Howard Johnson gets transferred to Motel 6. The staff here is terrible. They will belittle you. The front desk person will not accept the deposit through card. They will only accept your deposit in cash. Absolutely no hotel does that. It was the worst experience here ever. This place sounds like a giant scam! I would not recommend it at all!

Worst place I have ever stayed. Dirty beyond belief and when I was given my keys to go to my room the door was open about a foot. So the door wouldn't latch unless you finagled it just right. Didn't feel very safe here. And the complimentary breakfast is cold cereal, toast, and juice. There wasn't even any coffee. I had never had a bad experience with Howard Johnson until now and this brought their standards down considerably.

The staff was very friendly and very professional so I have no complaints about them. The room was really run down and one of the lamps didn't even have a plug for it to go into just the cord hanging down. The bathtub was Rusty and had holes in it and I was in The Corner Room which was right next to the freeway entrance and the car noise was horrible.

Worst stay I've ever experienced. I travel regularly working trade shows and have never encountered a room as grimy and questionable as mine was. Broken furniture, filthy moldy tub, sheets that hadn't been changed from the previous occupant, and not even a phone in the room! There were sticky mug rings on the table, and chunky barrette clips under the sheets of the bed. Shady looking business going on in the parking lot, and and a gross looking breakfast area. To call this a flop house would be giving it a compliment! Only positive to the stay was the lady working front desk by herself...she was polite and wonderful. Otherwise stay away from this place!

This place is horrible the rooms are run down and outside is full of homeless people that are bothering you the entire time you are there. It is so not worth the money. Beds are uncomfortable and small. We asked for twin beds and they were more like full beds. The first room we were given was dirty. The breakfast was not great. The pictures posted of this place make it seem way better than it is.

This place is great! The second time My boyfriend and I have stayed here. Downtown and sentinel peak views. The pool is refreshing and up to 8ft deep. The room we stayed in is remodeled but missing a fridge, but the ice machine works perfect for a cooler. We’ll definitely be booking again. The staff is so welcoming and sweet. The lady who took care of us deserves a raise.

I gave them 2 because they did change my room. First I was housed by people living there not lodging. Didn't feel really safe for a few reasons. Then the toilet backed up after first use, had to cut water off so toilet wouldn't overflow. Left to eat after shower. When I return I asked for the toilet to be fixed and was told there was no one there to do it, so they gave me a different room which was fine. Except that there was no strike plate in the middle opposite the door so the door kept moving back and forth in between the metal not really making for something securely lock by the deadbolt. Not sure why, but first few cars as there were there, I wondered why they wouldn't give me a room by the pool. Anyway I doubt that I would go back to that hotel specifically anymore but if I ever run across a Howard Johnson's again I'll check the place out better before I spend the money.

I've stayed at this one a couple of other times but this is the first time I've gotten a kind size bed. This room its defiantly nicer then the other ones. There is so so much storage space. If I knew that I'd keep getting this room id stay more often.

It was a place to sleep buy it's not well kept. The staff were nice but the room was a good place if your looking to do drugs and not actually use the bathroom, shower or surfaces. I got a chuckle out of the fact that my room phone stated that I was in a days inn instead of a ho-jo.

Yuma, AZ The room was clean and the clerk was wonderful and friendly. It was quiet breakfast was good, it was very quiet all night. The room had been remodeled and the lament floor had gaps by the bed and the bathroom, the shower stall was not glued down, paint was peeling off the ceiling in two places, and the shower wall needed to be painted. The contractor should be fired for the work that was done.
