Filthy and nasty. Worst deplorable place hope they raze it like they're doing all over Grant Rd. It would... People often mention dive, bartender, lady, time, rude,

Filthy and nasty. Worst deplorable place hope they raze it like they're doing all over Grant Rd. It would definitely be an improvement !!! Stay away take your business to Nancy's Boondocks where you're treated like family.

First time here. Very cool spot. Felt right at home the moment I walked in. Place is small and a total dive, so I kinda knew what to expect, brought me right back to my childhood when bars like this were the norm. Decorations from the 70's-80's era, very charming. Very cheap prices on drinks; small pitcher of Rolling Rock for $3 yields about 3 medium glasses full, can't get much better than that, got drunk for $6 plus tip, can't even get one tiny watered down drink for that price anywhere else. Great place for on a budget. Music was just the right volume, and was a great variety. Decent little outdoor patio area where you can smoke and drink and chill. Everyone was very cool and friendly. Will come back here whenever I'm in the area for sure.

I was about to stop in and have a drink when an older lady came outside and harassed me about parking on her property. I hadn’t even turned my car off yet. I’m still inside my car and a large man came from the dispensary across the street and questioned me about which business was I going to spend my money at. Then I witnessed them both gang up on other patrons that had just arrived. Now both establishments lost out on a customer who was ready to spend money.

This use to be a fun neighborhood old Tucson dive. Was harassed face to face by a customer who was obviously high on chemical drugs. The bartender let her control the early Sunday evening music and volume. Not good to have heavy metal full blast in a neighborhood bar. I can handle any kind of music as long as I can talk to my companion, This obviously head bobbing woman was continually screaming over the music so she was the only voice heard. Having myself screaming to the bartender to tell him the volume needed lowering then just brought the head bobber right within three inches of my face in her stupor. Her unsolicited gibberish just became intolerable. Dealing with someone buzzed in a bar comes with the territory. She should not have been allowed to continue to be involved in her self appointed job as a private party out of control delusional DJ up in my face is not tolerable. The bartender should have made her sit down away from the bar so the rest of us could enjoy spending our time and money there.

Bartender, blonde, elderly lady, was super rude and did not treat us with any respect. Had a bad attitude and immediately expected us out as soon as we arrived. I understand it's local but why such a rude attitude?

The Bay Horse was another pleasant stop this evening! I was the designated driver and my companions had shots and then we left. It was a nice experience, the restroom was clean, the services was good and the patrons, which seemed like regulars were nice too. We had a good time and my out of town guest really liked the vibe! Sorry, no pics for this for this one.

I stumbled upon this hidden gem of a dive bar and couldn't be more thrilled with the experience! From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the incredible bartender named Sheri. She's an absolute delight, with a vibrant personality that instantly made me feel at home. And let me tell you, Sheri doesn't just serve drinks—she also cooks up the most mouthwatering pizzas I've ever tasted! The combination of her mixology skills and pizza-making prowess is simply unbeatable. Each bite was a burst of flavors that left me wanting more. I can confidently say that Sheri's pizzas rank among the best I've had in a long time! The atmosphere in this cozy dive bar is everything you'd expect and hope for. It's not pretentious or fancy, but that's what makes it so charming and inviting. The regulars are friendly and welcoming, and it's clear that this place is a community gathering spot. I found myself striking up conversations with people I'd never met before, all while savoring Sheri's delicious pizza and sipping on my perfectly crafted drink. The prices here are incredibly reasonable, especially considering the quality of both the food and the drinks. It's refreshing to find a place where you can enjoy yourself without breaking the bank. The music selection adds to the ambiance, and I found myself tapping my foot to the beat while enjoying the wonderful company around me. If you're looking for a place with character, where the bartender is as great as the pizza, then look no further than this delightful dive bar with Sheri at the helm. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to stop by and experience the magic for yourself. I guarantee you'll be leaving with a smile on your face and a satisfied appetite. Cheers to Sheri and this fabulous dive bar! I'll definitely be back for more.

First, a lot of the complaints here are from an often inconsiderate clientele who get mad that they can't park in the bar's parking lot, block driveways in the neighborhood, or the street, to go to the marijuana store on the corner. The bar itself is fine. It is an old Tucson fixture. Like any bar, it is susceptible to the personality of the bartender working there at the moment. Some excellent, others just dull. Overall, the bar, and patrons are pretty laid back.

Classic Tucson dive bar. You just don't like dive bars if you don't like the 'Horse.

The lady with the white hair is decrepit and rude. No wonder no one goes to this dump.

As soon as we entered everybody stared weird at us. We were playing pool and suddenly a horrible drunk man approached to me and started saying inappropriate comments. When I told the bartender women this guy was being rude, she continue to kick me, my friends and my fiancé out. The rest of the people started yelling “goodbye” in Spanish as I’m from Ecuador. As a foreigner I’ve had amazing experience in different places with amazing Americans but this place was really disappointing. I strongly discourage people to go there as the staff is rude, customers are racist and have no respect for women.

Amber was my bartender. She was great. I had a good time. It was in the area where I had to meet someone and I'd never been to that bar. She let us borrow her charger in a pinch. There were Tostitos and cheese dip and popcorn. I enjoyed my time. Drinks were good. The area is a bit less than desired than I would like but it was fine. I'll visit again.

Was parked right next to the restaurant by the housing when i heard some white lady and other lady arguing about parking. I will admit she was not supposed to be parked there but the white lady proceeded to call her racist names which is not okay period point blank. And from the reviews it seems to be the owner!!? definitely understand her frustration but you kill more bees with honey.
