👍👍 This place was a family favorite! My uncle “Chopper” introduced us because it was his favorite! When he passed we had his memorial celebration there and it was everything ❤️ He was the artist of the murals on the wall! He was so talented! My Family is super excited about the new BBQ spot and I’m sur... People often mention great, brisket, pork, tender,

I'm a huge fan of smoked everything so I finally got a chance to check out Bashful BBQ. I wanted to try all the meats (I did skip the chicken and Jack fruit for now - there's only so much one can eat by himself...). I tried the brisket, pulled pork, pork rib, and sausage. The brisket was so tender, it just melts in your mouth. Great flavor, amazing texture. Moist, tender, perfect. Pulled pork was super tender with great flavor - I love the fact they don't add sauce to it. Let the pork flake shine. Pork rib was fall off the bone, and just like the pulled pork - not a lot of spices or sauce - the flavor of the pork speaks for itself. Last but not least was the chile relleno sausage. What a great a idea - stuffing a sausage with cheese. It was delicious. Smokey flavor, tender texture - just fabulous. Beer was cold, service was fast. So overall - great BBQ joint in mid town Tucson, I'll definitely be back to try the sides and the chicken and the jack fruit. Hi check it out, you'll ove it!

What a wonderful juicy tender brisket. We had fatty and lean both so good! Staff is so nice! The Coke machine was great! I'm so glad we went.

I went to the newly opened Bashful Bandit Barbecue today and it was fantastic. In my opinion, it's instantly the best barbecue in Tucson. They have these massive smokers you pass as you enter the restaurant, I mean massive. The cook said they are using a mixture of mesquite and pecan, nice local woods. The brisket is tender and fatty with lovely bark. The ribs are perfectly cooked--tender but with a little pull. The sides were amazing: beans, mac and cheese, and a wonderful potato salad. They have four sauces that are all great, but the chili tepin and vinegar is the star.

Just popped in for lunch and y’all this place slaps. Lived in Dallas for six years and have a high bar for brisket and these guys do it up right. Green chile pulled pork was solid. Sides were good. Service was excellent. I’ll be a regular here.

What a great place. I have met bikers from all over the country here and the locals are even more beautiful. Nobody judges you here and just be yourself and you are family at the " Bashful Bandit". Spend a lot of money and nobody cares. Buy drinks for the place and just like the Ole' West nobody cares who is buying, just keep buying. A great place to party day or night. They will not let you leave if you need help but will drive you or get you a cab. You don't have to spend or be gregarious but you can be yourself and always be safe. The perfect place to enjoy life your friends and all present. The bar tenders are the best, You are safe here the staff is the best and you will find that you are more than welcome even if you are not into motorcycles. What a wonderful biker and Southwestern favorite bar for real people regardless of who you are.

The brisket, the fatty cut, was remarkable. I think brisket can be overrated in many places I've tried it - see many places in Texas, yet the slice I had here is definitely top 1% level. Mac and cheese was great and the coleslaw was so-so my wife and I are coleslaw fans and order at most restaurants the slaw here does not stand out. My only suggestion is to make the order process better. If you are here for the first time the options are a bit confusing and add to the confusion you are ordering at a counter and there are people standing right behind you making you feel pressured and the instructions from staff were underwhelming. Also this is not a fault of this place but I'm not a fan of ordering food from a counter, paying premium prices, and then hoping you get a seat in the restaurant. It just increases anxiety and this trend in the business is one I hope see reversed. However if we are looking at the food this place delivers. Certainly better than almost all the similar style places I've eaten at in Austin and other Texas and Midwest cities.

We were excited to see what this old bar turned into, we were thoroughly impressed! Being from Texas, I’m a bit of a BBQ snob. This place was killer! The atmosphere was super cool and rustic, and the employees were so friendly and sounded genuinely excited about what they were serving up. I ate my entire green chile pulled pork sandwich before I could snap a pic but the drink from the full bar was great! The vinegar based bbq sauce is a must try.

I love this bar! All the locals know this one and super welcoming to new faces. Plus their happy hour is something you need to be catching up on, great specials and people. Lets do a Jell-O shot!

This place is not for everybody. But it also is being torn down. So if you want to see a little bit Tucson history Sunday during the day would be the best

Well to begin with it is a dive. It is primarily a biker bar but Fridays and Saturday nights is more open to the public. However if you are not a biker do not go there anytime on Sunday. I don't know about the women's bathroom but the men's bathroom is deplorable. I mean it's totally disgusting. If I do really have to use it I try not to touch anything at all. And some of the patrons get very very drunk. The worst was when I went there with a group of friends and a lady friend of mine went out to her car to get something. One of the bikers actually tried to kidnap her right then and there.

We went for lunch. They kept some of the original bar, but it is much cleaner! The atmosphere is cafeteria style, casual. But we were there for the barbecue! And boy, did they deliver the goods! We both had the chopped smoked prime sandwich. They stacked the sandwich with lots of meat. No skimpy sandwiches here! I had barracha beans and sunflower crunch salad for the sides. My friend had the potato salad and sunflower crunch salad. Everything is made fresh on-site. No Cisco pre-made here! The choice of sauces are: Sweet, Molè, and House, They also have a spicy sauce that is delicious on chicken. I sprinkled some along with the house sauce on my sandwich. It isn't too spicy, just enough of a zing. We will definitely be back! Bring your appetite to this one.

Fun place but unsafe as wires are exposed and place was flithy. seedy place.crowd was nice and drinks were Soo affordable, if it weren't for the people we met to took us here I would never visit this place that some would describe as a dump. They have a hot dog cart outside which is better, no, cleaner than the bar. Charming but gross

Love this place. Cozy feel, dimmed lights on the inside, except by the pool tables. Love Dave, he's super nice. They have jello shots and serve chips and nachos too! If you haven't been you definitely need to go!

I’ve come to bashful bandit bbq twice since opening. I like their food and I see myself coming back! Their brisket has been delicious both times and is probably my favorite meat option. I’ve also had their vegetarian option, the jackfruit, and sampled the pork, ribs, and sausage. The jackfruit absorbs flavor well, and wasn't mushy like other plant based meat alternatives can be.
