Nine times out of 10 I usually do not have a bad experience at Lucky Wishbone. However last night I purchased a family feast of fried chicken for my parents. They have been coming to this establishment for over 30 years and have never had any type of issues. The quality of the chicken was to my disbelief it was hard, not fresh, over cooked, as though it was old and just reheated. I called back and spoke with Cindy and all she recommended it was for me to go back and get a new family feast or refund. I explain to her that I had already gotten home after a long day of work and was not able to go back last night. I called her back and I asked her if it was possible to just give me a refund to my card without me having to go back in and she said she was not able to that I would have to call in the morning and speak with Grace. This level of customer service is unacceptable the quality of food is unacceptable as my parents were unable to eat it unfortunately. Hopefully today something will be resolved of this matter because we are loyal customers to this hometown establishment.

I'm not sure how Raising Canes is in business with lucky wishbone around. This is my first time ever. Everything but the fries was good. Fries tasted like they were sitting around but the steak fries are pretty good. I will be returning

To start things off the service is exceptionally poor the young kids there apparently don't like their jobs or just didn't like me. The counter girl taking our order was not helpful at all, the look on her face alone turned me off. Now about the food, the 🦐 shrimp was good but the chicken gizzards were so hard I could hardly chew it the liver was just ok over cooked though. Well I don't think I will ever go back there again I didn't feel welcome there.

its been a long time since we have been to lucky wish bone....we were going to visit family on the other side of town from us and wanted to bring them lucky they suggested grabbing lucky wish bone...so we ordered over the phone so we could pick up on our way...we ordered the chicken fingers and shrimp family meal and the three breast meaL...when we got our food it was wrong...but when I called the manager took care of and remade our food with no hassle...all the food was really good and made fresh...customer service was also good...we will be back again

Since the pandemic and the cost of food going up, the quality went down for both food and service. They give you more fries as fillers. I was disappointed in the fact I had placed an order, waited approximately 20 mins for it-but it sat on the back counter table for over 5 mins before anyone decided to bag it and hand it to me. The girls were more worried about chatting then bagging and handing out the food that was piling up. Yes it was busy, but there were 3 girls working the side where you hand out the food,.so there is no excuse. By the time I got it home, the breading was soggy and the food was cold.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars! I go out of my way 2 go 2 the *1465 W. Silverlake Rd.* location. Great staff & top notch food! I've never had any issues & I've been eating here over 20 years. My favorite items have 2 be: Shrimp, Jalapeño Poppers, Fish Sandwich & Cheesecake! Totally worth every penny.

Chicken, fries, toast, onion rings, lemon pie were delicious. However, lemon pie too pricey for the small slice. Steak fingers were too tough and breaded too much that hardly tasted any meat. Not the steak fingers of before.

Tried the 9pc Sampler. The steak strips were dry & the shrimp was alright. The chicken was the best meat in the dish but was still much drier than what I prefer. The sauce it comes with takes like a cocktail sauce. Was curious to see if they offered any other sauces but to no avail, ketchup was the only other option. Overall, if I was looking for some good fries I would come here.

I called in an order and it was ready to go when I arrived. The service was excellent and I was greeted when I arrived. Keep up the great work at this location. Oh and the .80 cent wings on Thursdays is phenomenal!

Idk what happened to this place nothing seems to taste the same...idk if they mix the chicken with the fish in the fryer but our chicken tasted super fishy, it was pretty dry and the jalapenos tasted old...and we spent quit a bit of money. Disappointed won't be coming back. Sucks

Bought a family feast of chicken only to find a cacaroach in the box. Disgusting 🫣. Eat at your own risk, beware of roaches in your foods.

They changed their fries to crinkle cut. Disgusting, now... use to be such good fries. Not much reason to come back now.

After taking my order I specifically asked the store manager do not forget my coleslaw which comes with my order. She forgot it. All she said was she can give me store credit which coleslaw come with your meal.

This place is a tucson must! Chicken is tasty and not greasey like KFC. Steak dinners and shrimp are so good! My family eats here often, and we make sure to get extra wishbone sauce for later! Family feast feeds all 7 of us with left over fries. They let you substitute the cole slaw, too, if you're not a fan. Customer service is great and this place is worth it for your money.

I feel like we paid mainly for French fries, the chicken pieces were so small and dry, the wings were fried to a crisp and dry, the chicken was so dry. Quality is was poor! Don't think I'll ever go back.

Went in at 7,chicken tasted funny, don't know if old oil or old chicken, wasn't the normal good tasting chicken, that lucky wishbone makes, spent over 30 wasn't worth it.

Who makes the best fried chicken in the world? That's an argument that will not be settled anytime soon, but if it were up to me Lucky Wishbone wins Everytime!!! People have personal favorites but Wishbone wins for me I am sure it has a lot to do with me eating here all my life but compared to other great fried Chicken out there Wishbone holds its own. Nobody makes a better garlic toast then Wishbone there is no argument there!!! This is one of the few places you can go to and everything is good on the menu just check out the fried liver and gizzards they are wonderful!!! The wishbone shrimp cocktail sauce is so good you can eat with just about anything on the menu and it kicks it up a notch.

I've always liked LWB for years but like many places the price has gotten ridiculously high! Bring $33-$45 for a family of 3-4 The chicken and bread was a bit greasy last time. I'm sure I'll try it again sometime. It's a Tucson Thing!

Th2 2 young ladies on front were quick to take orders but just as quickly ignored those waiting for their orders to "make time" for 3 gentlemen walk-ins. Processed order sat on pickup table for 15-20 mins while these young ladies grabbed on with the 3 gentlemen. When I finally got my order and after I had arrived home (40 miles down the road) I found that the order was incorrect. My receipt indicated the correct order but the order was incorrect...my order, 2family feasts, steak fingers and chicken fingers instead I got steak fingers and a 6 count fried chicken . So not only was my order incorrect, it was counted incorrectly and therfore was charged incorrectly. Value? Service? Not in this establishment. Maybe it's just this location. And if the young lady I think was the manager, talking up these gentlemen, as the owner I'd be looking for another manager...

Upset that Lucky Wishbone no longer sells wishbones. Or at least the restaurant at Mission and Silverlake. Love the steak fingers, my husband's favorite was the wishbones. Lucky Wishbone used to be a treat for the family, hope they start selling the wishbones again so it can still be a treat for my family.

As a native Tucsonan, I have been eating at Lucky Wishbone since they were located across the street from the Rodeo Grounds on south 6th avenue. Lately I've noticed that their portions have been smaller without a menu change. Their Pop steak fingers and pop shrimp meals are now only 8 pieces, however, their online menu reads 10 pieces for each pop meal. When I confronted the manager, she argued that the pop meals are now only 8 pieces and the online menu is incorrect. Lucky Wishbone, please update your online menu, so that there is no confusion. The funny thing about my visit is that there was a couple in front of me counting the number of pieces in each box. I thought that was hilarious, but now I understand.

Love their jalopeno poppers and shrimp! Sad they took the fish sandwhich off the menu, hopefully it can return.

For my once a year craving for all that is bad for me I come here! Everything is fried and breaded, maybe not everything, but most everything :) Anyway, best shrimp and chicken fingers ever.

I’ve been going to Lucky Wishbone my whole life and recently this last couple visits have been really disappointing they charge top dollar stop for chicken that doesn’t have any meat on it Manager Stephanie argued that it was the same as recipe
