Convenient location but it's gotten ridiculous! What was supposed to take me an hour. It takes me 2 hours because people choose to sit there and be on their phones. I don't understand why they crack down on people making noises while they're weightlifting but they don't crack down on people taking up space while scrolling a social media. I understand people need to make a quick text or take a quick call but to sit there on the machine for 7 to 10 minutes. Scrolling is just frustrating.

They need to open 24hrs again. I go there EARLY morning to not get Covid sick. Because ONLY 1 of every 20 people bother to wear a mask and not infect an older person like myself. If I get it and it did not kill me it would bankrupt me with a hospital visit. All because they wont pay someone for the night shift to save 5hrs of min wage employee salary. Shame on you management, I know someone that applied for the graveyard shift and management never called them, Boo owners... Boo.

I've been to a lot of Planet Fitness's and this one is absolutely the best one I've ever been to. Very big, very clean, awesome helpful people working the desk, AMAZING bathroom and showers (women's), perfect layout, nice base of customers, and a nice big parking lot that's a really good location. I love it and will definutely be back the next time I'm in town. It'll be on my list to take a detour for this one on my next trip. Love it @ Planet Fitness!! Way happier there than I was at LA Fitness. Clean atmosphere, nice equipment, huge T.V.'s. I still have to check out the massage chairs. Definitely a great gym for the price!!!

I have been with this Planet Fitness location since its inauguration. I really like this club and would like to keep my membership. However in the last couple of weeks things have changed. Because of these changes, I am seriusly considering moving to another club, unless my concerns get to be noticed and more importantly, resolved. First of all, I would like to point out that we, the members, pay our annual fee of more than $40.00. This fee is intended to cover costs for maintenance around the club. Let's say this club has 10,000 members, which is possible, the annual figure will be around $400,000.00! Here's my problem: The men's shower is a total mayhem. ( I can understand some people don't care about showering, I do). There's no place for hanging your clothing and belongings. We used to have mirrors, now they're gone. Again, some members could care a less about mirrors, I kind of like what we had. Today, March 30, 2023, as I was waiting for one of the showers to free up, I had no choice but using the one for handicap members. I was surprised to find out this particular shower is not in compliance with people with mobility challenges. If someone goes in there on a wheelchair, for instance, he's going to have a very hard time getting his way around. Normally, I hate to bring negatives, but this time I couldn't let it go. If in a month, or maybe less, nothing happens, no harm done: I just move on. Thanks for your consideration.

It has been two months since I became a Black Card member at Planet Fitness. I opted for this membership tier because it grants access to facilities beyond my home gym. Today (9/1/23), I discovered a $50 charge labeled as an annual fee. This is an addition to my regular $25 monthly fee, which is due on September 17, 2023. Consequently, I would end up paying more than $75 in a single month. While I comprehend the concept of both monthly and yearly charges, I'm pondering the appropriateness of imposing both types of fees within the same month. Perhaps adopting a more customer-centric approach could involve a slight increase of $4 in the monthly rate (dividing the annual fee by 12), resulting in $14-15 for the regular membership and $29 for the Black Card. Such a modification would enhance pricing transparency and empower customers to make well-informed decisions regarding their memberships. I find it hard to recall any other services I use—be it banking, credit cards, Amazon Prime, streaming platforms, etc.—that levy both monthly and annual fees simultaneously in a single month. This practice appears to extend beyond just Planet Fitness and seems to be an industry-wide norm. As a consequence of these considerations, I have decided to terminate my membership.

The best planet fitness location!!! Not just the best in Tucson, I mean anywhere!! Great showers, clean, spacious, hot!! It’s not a large gym, but it is the best!!

This is my second review for planet fitness. The first one was very favorable. This one is relative to the maintenance of equipment. I joined I'm guessing 5 weeks ago and was very pleased as my review showed. One of the main reasons I joined was to work my abs, with one machine in particular. That machine has been down for I'm guessing 4.5 weeks and I've asked staff about it to which they replied they don't know when it will be repaired. I really wish that they would maintain their equipment because there are several stations down that have been down for weeks. Please get this issue resolved sooner than later.

Sassy little troll at the front desk during opening (1/28) has the scanner turned around towards the desk so she has to come over and flip it to check you in by hand. I have never seen this in any PF, in all my travels. My bf went in to use the bathroom using the buddy pass while I was in the car (having already checked in myself) and she harassed him about it. Like seriously have you lost all control over your personal life to the degree that you need to exert it in your minimum wage job? Haha!! Hope it makes you feel better about yourself. Lol. We’ll try another location next time where the people aren’t crazy.

I've been going to Planet for about 5 months. Had to stop my membership cause financial reasons. Now I wanna reactivate my account. I called and asked. Had to come in to check on my account further. Okay, cool, understandable. I did and told them the situation, and they looked up my account with no problem. And said everything a green light. I don't have to pay an annual fee again. So I came in a week after. Asked to reactivate my account and was told that I had to make a new account and pay the annual fee again. And I was very confused and frustrated. So I explained to the lady that I came a week ago and said everything was good. And she kept saying that she got told by the manager and so I got little mad and said "Look, I don't wanna be a rooster but I came a week ago and said everything good and so can you just look up that I don't have too pay an annual fee again and that my account is good to go too reactivate" she did. She said everything was okay. On the computer was a green light saying I don't have to pay an annual fee. And then she proceeded to tell me that she didn't wanna get into trouble with the manager. So I left. She did tell me about the free day pass, which was good for her. But i did not appreciate that she did not wanna help what I had to say and just proceed book standards which is understandable, But i really felt like she didn't wanna help on the first place when another co worker had no problem looking up my account before. Unless policy changed in that week very understandable. Just kinda disappointed in my experience today. I love Planet, and it's a great environment to work out. But maybe it can be a manager's mistake by not informing everyone of new policies or updated policies. But it's a great place to work out!!

Love it , a nice and clean gym to work out 💪🏼the only suggestion is for the gym members, hopefully they could be careful when it comes to walk-in between 🚘 @ the Parkin lot to avoid damage and just run away! Be more than welcome And responsible to walk back in to apologize and recognize that it was you .

Update: 2/1/22 Been back since this review and noticed the patron in question wiping his machine down, someone else may have seen him or staff may have caught on. I don't like confrontation and am glad to see it resolved. No one dropped any weights during my visit, so not sure about the alarm but if no one's dropping weights, it's ok either way. I love this gym, Planet Fitness, overall, is the best gym I've ever been a member of and I've been trying to get my 2 friends to come in and join. I will definitely be a member for years to come! 1/25/22 Staff is really kind but I have watched men sweat on the machines and not wipe them down without consequence. The lunk alarm is turned off, it seems, as guys drop weights pretty regularly. Guys hanging out at the table (lobby) yelling and whistling across the gym. People hanging out in the locker room on the phone. Broadway is a better location when I can get to that side of town, fwiw.

Always clean here. Like the design of the locker rooms and gym. It seems like they put a lot of effort in the facility and maintaining it. They even clean their own floors in a professional manner with professional like equipment.

Majority of the staff are very nice people . Clean facilities. good display of equipment.Nice Tv set ups . But not the place for advanced goers . if your looking for a place that’s easy in and out no hassle go elsewhere.But beginners can thrive 👍🏻 happy liftin

Great location! Always allows my husband and me to park our 18 wheeler. Not all locations allow this. Not always their doing. Very, very clean and super friendly staff. Love working out at this location.

Not enough machines at all, always lines to use them and filled with kids who don’t even use them properly/ sitting there on their phones. Only 4 stair masters and 4 smith machines is ridiculous for the volume they have.. not a good experience. There should be a time limit for the kids who are working out for free all day long- making it awful for the people who BEEN PAYING!

Worst management in town. This location failed to cancel my account upon request in person in November. Then continued to charge me. When I attempted the contact them in reference to set charges, I was not only treated rudely by the manager, I was told I was banned from the site altogether. I was banned because a statement I made pertaining to thier contracted help. I stated that their English was very hard to understand. Mind you, PF outsources thier phone calls to a 3rd party as many of you may or may not know outside of the U.S. The person I spoke to was very hard to understand. I even attempted to speak Spanish, with no avail. After a 48 minute phone call to a third party company that planet fitness outsources too. I was told my issue had been resolved as they had contacted this location while I was on hold and spoke to management. Then I was hung up on without warning. I then contacted this location, Spectrum Mall, to ensure everything was settled. I was told by management that they were never contacted at all in regards to my concern. I explained, when I was asked what had happened. I stated the conversation was very difficult, as there was an obvious language barrier and suggested they should outsource thier calls to U.S. companies so that the representatives could be easier understood as well as creating American jobs, I was told I was prejudice for that statement. Mind you I also asked thier calling service to be transferred to a Spanish speaking line as to resolve set issue with no avail. I'm bi racial, either line would have been suffice provided they were clear and articulated. At which time the manager decided to ban me for life. All because I suggested they employee Americans in America. I was not rude or abrasive with my manner of speech. Nor did I curse. Yet suggesting they hire "Americans", of all races of coarse, is an issue for Planet Fitness. This place is a joke. Save your money, work out at home, or go to another gym. Planet fitness is not worth the headache. Only franchise that'll actually shame a guest for working out at their own personal level because another guest complains that you're working out too hard. Ironic how planet fitness is against shaming and bullying yet call their guests lunks for working out to hard or drinking bigger bottles of water. Irony at its best. Management is very poor/subpar at best at this location. AVOID Spectrum Mall.

This gym has all that's needed for a great workout. And the Open tones greatly help keep me active... Plus clean and we'll kept machines and weights!

I went to the gym today at around 11:30a and placed my things in a locker and locked it with a personal lock. After my workout, I went back to retrieve my things from the locker I thought I had placed my things in, but the lock was not there and my things were not in the locker where I thought I had placed it. I talked to the staff, and they were very helpful. The gym manager at the time even took time from her lunch break to check the security cameras to see if someone might have taken my things. I called the cops to file a police report because all my personal belongings (ID, credit card, keys, and etc.) were in the locker. I was literally panicking and started to lose it. About an hour into the incident, one of the staff asked for my lock keys and asked for a description of my lock, which I gave him. He went back into the locker room and found the lock I described to him on a locker which was close to the locker where I thought I had placed my things. I was a bit embarrassed because I think my memory failed me. I never remembered leaving my stuff in that particular locker. Yet, my things were exactly as I had left them prior to starting my workout. To the staff at this Planet Fitness location, my sincerest apologies for any drama I may have caused. However, I greatly appreciate all of you for helping me and being extremely professional in the way you handled this matter. I'm deeply grateful and appreciative of your attentiveness and courtesy during this dramatic event I caused. I have been going to this gym for nearly 6 months and it's always clean, the staff is always friendly and available to help. Today, I saw the professionalism and dedication of this staff in resolving something that was important to me. It makes me appreciate Planet Fitness at this location and the people they have hired to make this location very welcoming and attentive to all.

Planet fitness is kept clean. The down side of going to the gym is that to many of the people who go there spend most of their time texting while the equipment. On the plus side they have strong thumbs. The bad part is that they are keeping others from using the machines as they were designed for.

good gym for beginners, very annoying because they talk about being non judgemental but they will sound an alarm and embarrass you if you drop a weight too hard and they have a dress code which is unfair. i’ve seen women walk in wearing literally spaghetti strap bras but if a man walks in with a water jug or a muscle shirt it’s over.

I am not happy that I got interrupted in the middle of my workout cause it closed 9pm. I got my membership here cause it was convenient on the hours.. It needs to be open at least till midnight. It is convenient for us who work late weekends .

I Love Planet Fitness, I’ve been going for years. I’m a little disappointed that the TV in the Aqua Lounge is not working. I enjoyed the pictures of the waters and water falls. This is where I go after my work outs to distress, miss my waterfalls 🌊

They are putting out good efforts to provide a COVID-safe environment for exercise. Masks are encouraged, as is social distancing and multiple conveniently placed stations for sanitizing the machines are scattered around the room. There are many of most of the most popular machines, which makes distancing easy without causing delays due to waiting for a machine to be free. Staff are pleasant, courteous and professional. The facility is spacious, clean and well lit, and provides free wifi.

OPEN 24 HOURS MOST DAYS!!! Great big facility even when it's full you can get a great workout. Also the massage chairs, there are 6 of them!

I try to make it there every morning! I feel energetic and feel great once I finish my workout! It’s nice to hit the gym in the morning because you have the rest of the day to run errands or do whatever you have planned to do! Awesome gym great employees!

Are you a senior citizen? A young person? Any age! Everyone feels welcome here and there is something for everyone for a great work out. It is also very clean and the equipment is kept up!

I bring a friend on Sunday to show her the Tanning and massage tables. Referred by me, she signs up for a black card membership so she can tan and use the massage tables. Monday she comes in to tan (me too)... None of the equipment works, numb nuts at counter has no clue. I use a lot of clubs around the US. All too often experience disappointment. Monday 10/30/2023... I like coming to this location the staff is nice and friendly and equipment is up to date bathroom/shower area is always clean as well. I just wish I could reach the hooks to the towel rack by me being short 🤦🤣🤣🤣

I'm a new member and I've been going a week. The staff is amazing and friendly. The place is always clean and all the members are very good at cleaning their machines after use.

Love PF. Ive been going for over a year now....the staff are awesome and place is super clean. Love the set up as it's not so packed with over abundance of machines. Only issue is that massage equipment and a few weight machines need replacement. Hence the 4 stars

The gym is nice clean the people in the front desk need more experience special when they talking about thee we different membership they had my friend went there they didn’t explain it much it was 60 dls to join the gym they didn’t tell him that and when I went the location Swan and broadway they tell me wrong information too they need training better to the employees !!!

This is probably the best planet fitness I’ve ever been to across the United States. It’s very spacious, lots of room to do whatever exercise you need, multiple machines of everything. Clean new tanning beds, the people at the desk were super helpful and kind, and the bathroom has huge individual showers with plenty of space to change and lotion up afterwards. And they also have a scale that you can use to have an estimate of your BMI. You’re not supposed to take photos in locker room, but there was no one else in there with me so I snapped a few to show you how great this planet fitness is!

Since I’ve signed up, it’s been great. It’s always clean, the staff is super friendly. The guy that works the front desk gave me a tour, explained every part & what the different machines do. & it’s has great energy over all.

I like that the woman’s locker rooM has blow dryers if you need to use after a shower . And Really nice big counter with mirror to do your make up or get ready . Two total body machines as well so that’s nice !! This a a bigger planet fitness , very spacious!

It's good. The first time I went there with my friend , the guy said we weren't allowed to take a picture.But after how many days, I saw some are taking a picture. Sometimes that guy should treat us equally. It was my third week of going to this place. Their massage chair was not working, the same guy sent me to that #7 waiting almost five minutes and I called and the guy said he will fix it till I went to front and I told the lady their massage chair wasn't working and she just sent me to hydromassage , they should tell me ahead if that machine wasn't working at the first place.

First day back after two year hiatus. My mind feels like I never stopped going. My body tells me different. Still a great place to workout and stay focused. New goals for 2023 with Planet Fitness.

I have been going to this planet fitness for a while and yesterday was the first time that I was approached by an employee of the 30 minute circular workout room she was very rude instead of coming up to me and talking to me only she decided to stand by the doorway and yell out that we needed to hurry up and change every few minutes when the light turns red or green There was nobody in that room except for three of us and there was no one behind me so I didn’t see an issue or a problem that I could use the exercise thing twice instead of once she was complaining so loud that the guy that was training the elderly woman how to use the equipment was offended because she did not allow him to continue to show her how to use the equipment I thought that this was a necessary and this girl should be reprimanded for the way she talk to us I did complain to the front office so hopefully they did take care of the situation but of course you can never tail it’s sad when you can’t even go into the gym that you pay for to be treated with disrespectful

Great place to work out very friendly staff and facilities are always in pristine conditions the only reason I don't give 5 stars is because don't have a saunas and Olympic weight benches

Just joined today and great quality customer service by Jose on front desk. Very knowledgeable and made entire new member process a breeze. Very clean facility and amenities and great staff.

It would be better if they ask the people that are not using 30 minute work out to get out. Keeps others like me that want to use like it's supposed to be used from doing so. That's at all locations . I have no problem making people feel uncomfortable to use the area, but I shouldn't have to that's there job . ( I'm just saying )

I go in the morning and the crowd ain't so bad, I mainly use the treadmill which there is alot of, and some of the machines. I like how there isn't those people who slam, throw, and yell around the gym as that can be annoying. Overall it's a good place to have a good workout at.

Not a big fan of the models of treadmills they have here (compared to other PFs with slightly better ones), but other than that this PF is just like any other one you've ever been to.

Very nice facility and staff at this location. Extra bonus was the shade provided by the building throughout the day on parking areas.

I love that it has a huge space, there are a lot of machines so there's always a machine available when you need it (except peak hours). They are always cleaning, the restrooms are impecable, they have everything to wipe machines, they have everything you need and more. I just love it here, affordable, friendliness, clean, etc.

I have had my issues with this place before in the past with a different location, but the new location is awesome and friendly staff and has changed my outlook to planet fitness keep up the great work and keep being awesome!
