Very nice little park with lots of open grass & shade trees, as well as several park benches. Nice view & nice area.

We attended "Tasty Tuesday", a fun, family-friendly event with food trucks and music. It's held throughout the summer each year.

Super nice park. There is no playground buy plenty of room to run or play games. There are also food trucks there some nights and it has great shade. It's never really busy or feeled with scary people. If your looking for a great basic park this is it.

Beautiful park! Came out for Tasty Tuesday and had a great time! Lots of kiddos running around and having all the fun. Food was delicious! Definitely recommend.

It has been a long time since I came to the Hyder Park for Tasty Tuesday. I was glad I did this time because five food trucks were there and one of them is my favorite! I love the idea of food trucks at parks because they move around all the time and keeping track of where they will be can be difficult. Each food truck offered a tasty sample from their menus and they were all tasty indeed. The Supper food truck handed out their hand cut fries with parmesan cheese, the Street food truck gave a fiery egg roll which was perfect to open up taste buds. On to the next one, Soobak celebrated the summer with deep fried peach topped with kimchi chiles and fresh whipped cream -- mmmmm yummy! Pop fizz cooled our palates down with their popsicles, choose your own flavor between mango or strawberry. The Crepe stand showcased their crepe skill by making crepe cake filled with vanilla cream and topped with fresh raspberry. There was also live music and yoga class at the park. Kids were running around and dogs are everywhere as well. It was a perfect evening. If you haven't checked out the Tasty Tuesday at this park, come before it's gone for the season!

They're getting ready for the International tree climbing competition for arborists from all over the world. Who knew!?! Pretty cool! Beautiful park with many species of trees.✌🏻🌞

Awesome park, friendly environment for all ages. One of my favorite parks, great for dogs, relaxing, and recreation. Tuesdays from 5-7 they host an event with live music and great food!

Nice and shady. No kids playground but lots of grass and trees. There are food trucks on Tuesday as well so that's fun. Busy, but fun.

It's a lovely park. It is not, however, an off-lead dog park, and it would be much nicer if residents would respect city and park ordinances/rules (which, mind, are clearly posted).

Very nice park and early Sunday morning there were other dogs walking and hanging out. Not fenced but some had them off lease and very well behaved. The park has great big trees with lots of shade and triangular in shape and great grass

We were flying out of ABQ and had some time to waste so we hung out here and played cribbage. A great spot!!!

My only complaint is that I wish it were bigger. My partner and I happened upon this party while searching for a good impromptu picnic spot. We were there in a Saturday at around 2 pm, and it was peopled but not at all crowded. A lovely sprinkling of trees, grassy areas, and a walking loop around the perimeter made this a perfect casual picnic/ afternoon book reading spot. The speckled shade throughout made almost every grassy spot in a perfect place to spread out a picnic blanket. If you like neighborhood parks then you'll like this. The neighborhood was quiet and even had some nice Pueblo style buildings with beautiful front yard gardens adjacent to the park. It was a very nice neighborhood park.

Clean, well managed, safe, you can come on Tuesdays for "tasty Tuesdays" for food trucks, picnic, dog friendly, I've never stepped in poop. Everyone cleans up after themselves here. It's nice to walk around too.

Great park..lots of friendly pups and good pet owners. Kids from the school are always. Safe. It does have some peaceful times. Everyone seems to take care of everyone! Lovely shade in the summer. No amenities except nice benches,trash bins and doggy bags.

All I can say is you won't be disappointed. No it hasn't changed infact it better than you could of remembered, on Tuesdays they have about 7-8 Food trucks itsa great time to be there about 6-8 pm

Very well maintained park in a residential area. The park-goers were friendly, the food trucks were tasty, and the yoga was stretchy. Truly a family and community vibe.

Nice family place to get together or run you dogs. No play ground equipment, just old fashion games here. Lots of shade and grass to have picnic or take a quite nap.

Very clean neighborhood park with a vibrant community presence. Tuesdays are food truck day.

Large size park on a hill located in interior of neighborhood but TONS of local community pedestrian traffic and even more pedestrian traffic on Tasty Tuesday nights. You can count on this park being pretty busy most times of the day, every day so if you're looking for a quieter less crowded park to spend some time. Most people with dogs keep them on leash so you don't have to worry about errant pups bugging you (not that I would mind, I love dogs). Limited waste receptacles but they are there if you need to dispose of your picnic left overs or dog waste. The Tasty Tuesday thing is huge, food trucks, live music, it can be fun and worth checking out! Great place to check out, but I prefer less popular places with fewer people to enjoy some quiet.

A jewel of a park within a nice neighborhood, it also hosts Tasty Tuesday from spring through fall, where families can gather, have an evening picnic, listen to some music, and get good food from a variety of food trucks.

Oh my goodness how we did spend hours on the grass daydreaming 😶‍🌫️
