Found this place randomly while driving by and we went for my birthday and then again 3 days later! Got the red sea special w meat (20£ for 2) 1st time and then the veg option red sea special the 2nd time at 16£ for 2 people! Great price & lovely food! Must try their mint lemonade! So nice and refreshing!

Traditional east African restaurant with Somali, Eritrean, Ethiopian and Yemeni dishes. Therefore they have a variety of dishes to try out from rice and meat to injera and curry. I would highly recommend the lamb Mandi or the injera and mixed curries.

We came in on a Sunday evening. Service is very friendly. We had never tried Eritrean food before and it was amazing. Legit the best rice I’ve ever had in my life. The vegetarian dishes with injera were so nice. The chicken 10/10. I saw a few other people who were having whole fish grilled with rice and I will definitely be coming back for that 🤤 Thank you for a great meal!

Starting off with the service; approached upon entry and welcomed us in enquiring how many persons for the meal and seated us accordingly. Provided us with menus and made a number of recommendations upon request. Explained what was on the menu when asked. The portions were great. The rice was fragrant, the meat was soft and pretty much falling off the bone. Food tasted fresh and full of flavour. Ordered lemon juice/lime juice. Absolutely delicious and complimentary to the meal! By far the best restaurant I've visited in the past few years! Highly recommend.

Delicious Lamb Mandi, very tender coupled with flavourful and soft rice. The dishes on the menu were a rarity to find especially the areeka - a further plus would have been more cream on it.

I have been here a few times years ago when I lived in Shepherds Bush. Today we picked up some takeaway food. It was even more delicious than I remember! The staff are very friendly and helpful on the phone and at the counter. Guessing it is probably still a family-owned business. We ordered a small Red Sea Special platter and a side of Lamb Fitfit (lamb chunks, chili, tomato and injera). The packaging for the special platter was excellently done. Small containers for each of the different meat dishes, rice and salad. Then a plastic container for the chicken and egg, and a separate container for the vegeables including lentils, carrots, beans, spinach and potatoes. We received 3 full injera which was very generous. We had a delicious and flavourful lunch and can't wait to eat the perfectly spiced leftovers for dinner! Very large portions too so great value for money. Thanks for making our Sunday!

This quickly became my favourite restaurant in London I grew up on this type of cuisines and the food is authentic and you can taste how much the chef loves making it, the vibes are amazing and most of the people there are always frequent costumers its that good! The service is great they’re so nice and accommodating. No words can describe how good this place is its definitely a must visit when in London! I brought my mother here and she said its better than her own cooking which says a lot about how incredible the food is! I always look forward to going back again

Love this place, amazing food, vegan options, good prices, huge portions! So happy I discovered this place and will go back asap! I had lentil soup that was very rich and smooth, delicious and big plate of veggies, I couldn't finish it all. Friendly service, home atmosphere, love it and highly recommend it 👌

Use to be good, but now changed to greedy restaurants. Nothing for free no soup no starter nothing. Should at least provide some kind of yogurt or salad for the customers. Need to improve a lot.

We had a very large group attend for a family occasion. The food was amazing, authentic and beautifully put together. They really made it special and the service was extremely friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

The worst customer service i have ever experienced! Recommend steering clear of this place - plenty of other restaurants in the area where you will be treated with some respect. Food wasn’t outstanding either.

The food was great, first time trying. The mint lemonade was refreshing. Would go back.

Mandi lamb wasn't bad though, Don't expect the Yemeni food you get in famous restaurants in Dubai, Yemen or New York. Good to try Anjira the famous Eritrean Ethiopian dish and Yemeni Mandi lamb or chicken.

Excellent food. Very good service. Value for money. The place is clean. I would highly recommend it. We had Red Sea Special Large, a big platter, seven mix abyssinian dishes, enough for four people. For dessert, we had Masoub (banana bread mash). All in all, it was a complete deli.

We had the most incredible Abyssinian meal at the Red Sea. The food was absolutely delicious! We were a party of 12 with lots of energetic kids and the restaurant owners took wonderful care of us and helped keep the kids entertained! Thank you for a brilliant birthday feast. This is now officially my favourite London restaurant!

What an amazing place for a delightful meal. We stayed on the Yemeni dishes, which were all excellent. Next time, we'll probably explore the Ethiopian / Eritrean options, as we've heard very good things about those.

It was one of the worst place I have been for very long time, the food is bland, the portion is too small, the service was so delayed. I remember when this restaurant opened for the first time they had delicious food and the portion was great for average person. So i was so excited when a friend suggested to go there. I rather you add more money and flavour than serving nothing on the plate

First foray into African cuisine, really enjoyed it! Great experience and won’t be my last! Took the servers recommendation of Awaze Tibs server on Injera, delicious and a great intro to Ethiopian flavours.

Delicious. Get the Yet-Tsom-Beyaynetu and Shiro Wot - can’t go wrong. The mango juice is A1 too.

We have used Red Sea to cater for several events now and the food and service is absolutely impeccable. The food is the best we have ever tasted and everyone at the events rave about the food. The prices are very reasonable and the owner always so kind and helpful. I would highly highly recommend!
