Basil Fawlty couldn’t be ruder than the obnoxious woman behind the counter. A warning to any potential customer - don’t touch anything- you’ll get told off. Simply look or guess the quality of an item - don’t dare inspect or pick anything up or the KGB will hunt you down.

Well what a wonderful shop.It is full of beautiful objects both decorative and functional many of which I’ve not seen elsewhere. The owner truly has an eye for design and this shows not only in the stock but also in how the products are presented. A visit is a must if you’re in the area and interior design is your thing. Also a lovely range of books and unusual gifts can be found upstairs together with some rather nice art work.

I always buy my taper candles (among many other things) from Bagel & Griff as they are good quality and priced well. A lovely neutral colour palette in these candles is available. In general, this is a beautifully curated shop, lovely people, and one of the main reasons I visit Market Harborough. Be warned though, you will not be able to go there without buying something!!

Lovely experience shopping online, I had a small issue with my order that was clearly the fault of a supplier and this was corrected so kindly and so quickly. I really recommend - very sad not to be able to shop here in person anymore I used to love popping in when I lived in MH. Thank you to Helene who assisted via email.

Lovely shop, they have some fantastic quality products to choose from. I love textures and natural materials so this shop ticks all the boxes for me. The shop itself is based on two floors, lots of kitchen and homeware downstairs, with bath, body, cards etc upstairs. I don’t get to visit the amazingly curated shop often as it’s not pushchair friendly (but that’s down to the old buildings in Market Harborough) but I purchase from the website - they package everything beautifully. Their instagram is worth looking at to get a feel for the products they sell. You could spend quite a bit of money here!

We run a small doggie daycare business and love to pamper our clients and ordered from Bagel & Griff a few items. Lovely packaging and safely put together- arrived very fast although the crazy delays these days.Beautiful selection of products and very friendly & helpful staff. It’s honestly my favourite homewares shop in my area, such beautiful products and it’s all beautifully displayed in the store. Always a joy to visit

The quality of the items I've purchased is really good they have lasted for years. The team are super helpful and have even dropped off my purchases by hand so I received them on time.
