A very charming events venue. Versatile seating, dance floor, stage, bar, kitchen. All the bits in a lovely older theatre building. Helpful and friendly staff made the evening event even more special. Recommended for venue hire and apparently great amateur dramatics by the HH Theatre Co.

Saw a great play here by a lovely Am Dram group and Steamcoach pub just down the road. What's not to like? 😀

I have been highly entertained by some wonderful productions here. A very high standard of acting, music, lighting, set design and directing. Fantastic costumes. Superb value for money and for me, more fun and real than a slick West End show.

This theatre is run by the local am-dram group and they produce splendid pantos and plays. The actors, of all ages, thoroughly rehearse the shows. Front of house staff are friendly and helpful. There is a bar and wheelchair access. On street parking plus a public car park nearby. They have a website and the prices are so reasonable. Very worthwhile visiting.

Perfect little play house. Relaxed and friendly. My daughter enjoyed the Easter extravaganza show. Only down side was that they weren't accepting card payments, and we only had a little cash on us.

Our House I went to the playhouse for the first time last night to see Our House performance by Hemel Hempstead Theatre Company. It was really professional with some outstanding performances of singing and dancing. So energetic. If there are tickets left it is definitely worth going.

Had my daughters 21st birthday last night it couldn't have gone better thankyou to brilliant bar and door staff. Would 100% recommend
