Northala Fields are three hills with beautiful panoramic views of London from their summits. It's a beautiful natural park in the centre of the city. A great place for running and walking. A great place to spend a nice time especially with children. In the summer season there are many additional attractions for children such as inflatable slides, merry-go-rounds, shooting gallery, etc. There is also a booth with ice cream. All year round, there is a closed playground with swings and a "monkey grove" and several devices for "fitness under a cloud". Additionally, there is a wooden fortress with a slide, several ponds where you can meet ducks, swans, herons and some other interesting birds, mammals and reptiles:-) I have been there every season and it is always a charming place to which I like to return and where I really enjoy staying. I recommend it with all my responsibility.

Lovely views from the hill top! There is also small lakes/ponds in the area, and a playground for kids. If you feel hungry, there is a coffee shop nearby and they also sell sandwiches, hotdogs, and ice creams. There are also public toilets. Enjoyed the area. A very nice place for walks as well as it is pretty huge.

I have been there many times. Lots of people visit this amenity. Very family friendly. One of the artificial hills has a footpath to the viewing area at the top. From the viewing area you can see The Shard, Canary Wharf and Telecom Tower. There are notice boards pointing out landmarks which can be seen, on clear days.

This area was very peaceful and I definitely recommend it to anyone who's visiting the area to go there. If you decide to climb 🪜 the hill, it can get really windy 🌬️ up there. So, take a jacket 🧥.

Great place for all ages. Took my 3 young kids, they played in the big park (there were two parks), took a walk by the lake, had a picnic and walked up to the top of on eof the hills. Then topped it off with some ice cream. Great day out!

My experience here was 10/10, I went for the first time and I'm impressed. I loved the view and the playground was very big, I also love how there was a funfair which had cheap prices and the fact that there was a lot of other stuff to do besides the funfair like eating in the cafe, sitting by the pond, biking etc.

A good place for picnic and evening walks. The view from the hilltop is really good. It is dog friendly, and there is ample parking space as well.

It's a wonderful place to spend the time walking in nature with a magnificent view on the top of the hills . There's a restaurant with clean bathrooms and parking, which is accessible to wheelchairs.

Amazing park with selection of 4 hills to climb, one only has a clear path for disabled and others are more wild. I am being told that the stones in this area are from construction site from building Wembley stadium but have not validated this. It also has I think 8 or 10 small ponds for fishing which looked nice

Northala View Point allows you to break away from everyday life and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. It is also a perfect place to take photos that will capture these unforgettable views. For nature lovers and tourists, it is a unique opportunity to feel harmony with nature and admire its inexhaustible wealth. PLAYGROUND Huge Tidy Lovely My daughter and me spend hours there PICNIC AREA Tidy Quite Calm Green We were relaxing there after playing at the playground. Atmosphere made me feel so calm and relaxing. It took over hour to get there from turnpike Lane but was worth it. It is the perfect place for those who want to fully enjoy the beauty of the London Borough of Ealing, leaving everyday life behind and immersing themselves in the extraordinary beauty of this region. Is the most sagnificant green space/park in Northolt. I regret I did not take more pictures, but I will definitely add more after the next visit.

Considering the location this is an excellent place to come with family and kids. You can come with bikes, foor and car. Carparks located around with electric car chargers in one of them. The hills have amazing views from the top. One with no pathway up for straight uphill hike or other with pathway for walkers including prams. Very nice man made ponds with not deep water levels but very nicely maintained with water lilies and wildlife like ducks. Theres cafe on site with toilets. Depending on times of year there is space for fun fairs etc. You would not think its this big when you go round. Very open large areas where you can do anything from family picnics to any outdoor activities. Definitely recommend for all!

The park is HUGE! With plenty of areas for people of all ages to spend time. 3-4 ponds that I came across with birds and fishes, hills, grounds, and multiple areas for kids to play. The view of London from the top of the hills is just gorgeous

It's extremely busy. No way to find parking. People park on pavements, cycle lanes, disable spaces without blue badge. It used to be very nice place for a day out but since our lovely council decided to build thousands of flats, there are more people in the area. They say there's housing crisis, I wonder what they will do when all of the multiple children of current families grow up and have 9 children on average on their own. Probably even this overcrowded space will be used as high towers of flats.

Great place for the kids and family 😀 Playground, lots of green's around, huge field ,a few little water ponds with ducks and swans , gorgeous place to have a rest or for activity 😀. Small restaurant there , you can enjoy tea, coffee, a piece of cake 🎂,ice cream 🍦, sandwich 🥪 or fries 🍟 The only one pain is only 1 ( out of 4 or 5 ) toilet is open on the back of the restaurant, which for this very busy place is horror to stand on the long queue 😞😓😩😤😡 THERE MUST BE MORE TOILETS OPEN!!!!!!!

Very nice place 🌹,,,,Northala Fields is a park located in Northolt, in the London Borough of Ealing. It was opened in 2008 and consists of four artificial hills standing next to the A40 Western Avenue, as well as several fishing lakes, a large field areaa children's play area and adjacent café. The hills were constructed using rubble from the demolition of the original Wembley Stadium, which was closed in 2000 and demolished in 2003. The park was created as part of the Northolt and Greenford Country Park project, and backs onto the older Rectory Park.

Great place to take the kids to expel some energy! Plenty of open space for picnics but not much space for parking. There were quite a few benches dotted around to rest while the children played. There is a small playground for younger children and at the other end of the park, a large wooden building for the older ones to clamber over, under, through, up and down! There are also a couple of small ponds/lakes where people were fishing (this appeared to be the only shaded areas) and another small boating lake. There's a small cafe and toilets near the wooden structure and lakes.

Lovely area with 2 great play areas for kids. One of the play areas is a standard colourful playground with all the normal items, the other is a wooden obstacle type playground with really good slides! It was very busy when we came but still enjoyable. Other things to do in the area include visiting the cafe, ice cream trucks, bringing items for a picnic, walking around the ponds, going fishing and walking up the hills themselves. Parking is paid and you can usually find a spot easily at one of their car parks.

A surprisingly pleasant man-made park next to the A40. I am given to understand that the neolithic-style hills are not drumlins left by the Ice Age but turfed slag heaps left by the discarded rubble from the demolished Wembley Stadium. Great play park/adventure area for kids but don't let them fall in the neighbouring water... it looks cold and nasty.

I nice little gem located near Northolt just across the A40. I noticed there was plenty of ice cream vans in and around the area which made it nice for a hot day in the park. The hills were a fun little trail walk up to their peak and was family friendly. Although the area as a whole is not as big as it appears … but big enough. A perfect place for a walk or a nice family day out. Area kept clean and didn’t see any dogs of their leash

Loved climbing to the top of the mountains and it is really windy up there. Kids had lots of fun climbing the hills and when we went there was a fun fair as well. A good place to spend 2-3 hours with kids.

Been there quite a few times, went to see the sun rise at the top of the hill! Was a very fun experience. You can see the landscape at the top of the hills. The park is clean, there’s a playground for children. I haven’t been the cafe yet, but it is definitely a local park to exercise and have a picnic whilst you want to explore and enjoy new views.

It's a lovely place to bring your family to. Nice walks and beautiful views if you walk to the top of the four hills. There are two play parks for children to have a good play. There is toilets and a nice small ship to buy food and drinks from. The car parking is a bit small. If you like fishing, I saw people doing that too.

Lovely place - nice walks and easy to get to and free parking on side roads if you don’t want to use the parking. Can get a bit noisy due to the A40 but generally not too bad. You do also tend to get a lot of flies when walking past the pond areas.

Fantastic place to go to, kind playground, high level hills to see all around London skyline,, climbing frame plus enclosed slide swings etc,, fishing lakes (fishing license needed ) toilets at the back of drinks shop, boat lake for children only £6.00 for 15 minutes check out Web site for more details, at present until 3rd September enclosed area for children rides, inflatables, etc lots of areas to have a picnic, we'll worth a visit, but car parks do not take cash, all done online.

Lovely place to visit on a weekend! The walk to the top wasn't too bad, and the views were amazing!! Lovely little lakes with lots of ducks and other wildlife too.

Spacious park next to the A40. There are 3 landscaped spoil heaps with views across London. The tallest hill with shallow spiral access path has several information boards pointing out the landmarks the more famous including Wembley Stadium and various tall towers of central London. The park has plenty of paths, open spaces, small lakes, and has a cafe which disappointingly serves tea in polystyrene cups.

Went there on Friday and it is a really interesting little attraction that doesn't really get talked about enough! This is how you do a mound correctly (looking at you Marble Arch). Plus you have 4 of them! My only point of caution is that it will get crowded during weekends and holidays with families, but other than that, would definitely recommend a visit

Absolutely love this place. There is small parking nearby. Park your car and go for a nice walk up the hill. Gey a good view of London on the evening. There is a play area near the hill for children which they absolutely enjoy. During the cold winter you can enjoy a nice cuppa in the cafe nearby.

Northala Fields in Northolt is an outstanding outdoor recreational space that provides a great environment for children to enjoy. Located amidst spacious fields and sprawling hills, the park offers plenty of opportunities for physical activities and leisurely strolls. The pathways are lined with trees and shrubs, providing natural shade and a pleasant atmosphere. At Northala Fields, there are many facilities specifically designed for children's entertainment. There is a special playground with slides, swings, climbing frames and other equipment that provide hours of fun play. Families can also bring picnics to enjoy amongst the lush green surroundings or take advantage of the onsite café offering refreshments. In addition to its playground facilities, Northala Fields hosts events throughout the year including Easter egg hunts, Halloween bonfire nights and Christmas markets. The park also has several open-air sports pitches for football, tennis and basketball along with jogging trails for more adventurous visitors. Overall, Northala Fields is a fantastic place where families can come together and make wonderful memories while enjoying some fresh air outdoors. With its wide range of activities engaging children in both mind and body, this is definitely one of the best parks in London!

Aside from the toilet facility issues, (only one toilet working and disabled toilet was out of service too resulting in long queues), this park has been a family favourite spot for a decade. The cafe has been refurbished and even offers hot chips! Always a winner with the kids. With fishing spots and two separate play areas, one wooden climb and slide and the other for smaller guests. There's not much you can't do here. It's a great last minute picnic spot.

Fantastic park for a family day out: great playgrounds, fishing ponds, a cafe but most of all beautiful, panoramic views of London from the top of the mounds

Fantastic large open space for all the family. Hills with amazing views, adventure playground, fishing lakes, great for dogs. Often have a mini fun fair too. Only downside was that the toilet facilities were closed.

  • 4/5 Graham H. 2 years ago on Google
A pretty cool place to get some fresh air, does get busy at the weekends and when the weather is good. The "mounds" were made from the excavated soil from when Wembley stadium was renovated (apparently!)

  • 5/5 Vikash G. 2 years ago on Google
We always love visiting here as the spaces are open and vast! There is plenty of varied walk ways that bisect the fields area and perimeter the hills as well as the mini water areas. There is a huge playground for both older and a separate small playground for younger children! The mini water lakes area offer a great space for people looking to do some fishing. There is also some public toilets close to the centre of fields and near to the large adventure playground. Parking can be a little tricky at times, but nearby rounds are mostly free to park on.

We visited Ruislip for the day and checked out Northala Fields! Took some lovely pictures of nature, trees, ducks and the small little pond there. :) We climb two of the hills and got some great shots of the sunset and the views from above! The hills were a little difficult to climb especially for my mother who is in her 60s but she still managed it! Bless her. <3 I only wish they built steps that lead right to the top of the hills like they do at Stave Hill as you have to watch your step climbing up and making your way back down. Very spacious indeed! And a nice, calming, chilling atmosphere.
