Marathon
Etheopian
restaurant
is
simply
fantastic.
On
entry
it
doesn't
look
much,
its
basic
decor
and
small
surroundings
don't
prepare
you
for
the
wonderful
welcome,
and
the
taste
sensations
to
come.
It's
like
coming
to
a
friend's
home
kitchen
to
eat,
but
the
friend
happens
to
make
the
BEST
and
most
authentic
Etheopian
food
you
ever
had
presented
to
you
or
tasted.
There
is
something
for
everyone,
meat,
fish
or
veggie
dishes,
the
large
dishes
come
with
a
bread
that
is
used
to
eat
the
food
with
your
hands
(no
cutlery
in
this
place,
which
is
traditional
also),
you
will
naturally
order
WAY
too
much
food,
trust
me,
but
there
is
just
so
much
to
try!
As
a
veggie,
I
had
the
vegetable
samosa
-
(small
but
delicious,
not
too
spicy),
Ye
Tsome
Beyeaynetu
for
main,
which
is
a
selection
of
dishes
served
on
an
Injera
which
is
the
Etheopian
bread
bigger
than
the
dish
it's
served
on.
With
this
the
host
recommended
a
pallet
cleansing
chili
stuffed
with
onions,
which
was
fantastic,
but
not
for
the
faint
hearted,
it's
HOT!
And
this
washed
down
with
a
Habesha
beer,
which
was
mild
and
delicious,
and
took
some
of
the
chili
sting
away
:)
This
was
so
much
food
I
felt
like
I
probably
ate
half
of
it,
and
could
easily
have
been
shared
between
2
people.
This
was
followed
by
some
honey
wine,
which
was
like
a
home
made
brew,
very
tasty
too,
and
drunk
from
a
traditional
bottle,
the
host
kindly
showed
us
all
how.
Overall
this
was
a
superb
experience,
much
more
than
a
meal,
with
fantastic
staff
and
surroundings,
excellent
food
and
drink
and
when
the
bill
came
we
were
shocked,
it
was
half
the
price
of
your
average
London
restaurant
-
seriously,
as
an
example
starters
are
only
£4.50!
Amazing
value
in
2022.
I
will
be
returning
here
again
and
again,
I
can't
wait!
