Been locked in at 18:00:30sec. The self entitled "fishery manager" who was not kind enough to provide a name asked for Β£20 for letting me out even if he was 30 sec away. I asked for a receipt and he got it down to Β£10(cash, of course, no receipt). I hope the owner is not paying him the same rates otherwise that's one expensive "fishery manager" that's costing the fishery money as me and my friends are not going anywhere near that fishery ever again. Can't wait to meet again Mr "fishery manager"πŸ˜‰

Really disappointing having driven for over an hour waited for gate to open to find all the best swims with bivvy's already in them and guys clearly having been fishing overnight under the guise of them being bailiffs/security. What a joke. Absolutely disgraceful.

So...it's a well looked after lake with mostly good swims and a proper tackle shop. You can drive and park next to a lot of the swims aswell and they have some lovely fish. HOWEVER..... some of the people working/running the place are pretty rude and it can be very 'clicky'. I have honestly felt pretty uncomfortable on a couple of occasions fishing here for that reason. Also, a number of the swims are litteraly on top of each other and at weekends when weather is OK is super crammed with people fishing on top of each other. After my last visit, I had one of the guys come round to check my ticket who was pretty rude to me for no good reason. I also had people casting around my swim. For this reason I won't be back. There are other more local fisheries to me with some decent fish who appreciate the customers more, and have swims better spaced out. If your in with the people at Farlows, you will love it. Im not saying its a bad place, but i like to go fishing to relax and chill out as well as catch as a few lumps. I don't think Farlows Is the place to do this.

Worst experience ever. I called at 5 to know if there were spots and they told me there were plenty free. Drove one hour to arrive, wait 35 minutes because no one answered to the phone and after 35 calls they answered telling no spots were available. Sorry but really, worst experience ever.

I was unaware they closed at 7PM. Website says 8pm. There is no mention that the tackle shop is open so I could not buy what I needed. The man who came to shut the gate could not have been more rude if he tried. Dissatisfied to say the least.

Absolutely diabolical you get charged for 3 rods when you show your licence for 2 .they should police it better and fine those using 3 rods and not penalise those keeping to the rules this in my eyes is illegal so stay away from it plus on many occasions it has been unfishable due to weed which has not been delt with like other fisheries stay away stay away

Good lake. Absolutely shockingly run. Owner kicks you out of the swim that’s perducing fish so he can jump on your bait and catch. Avoid. Go to linear fisheries

Just got back from our 2nd 72hour session this year on lake one. What can i say from when you turn up very well organised if you need help or want to ask anything all staff and bailiffs are very helpful. Toilets and showers very clean.Bite time Cafe great food and great service. Angling Direct Shop on site as great stocks and everyone very friendly and helpful. My son had fish to over 30lb all in fantastic condition. Tips are turn up get a bucket out each and walk around the lake once you found a swim bucket it and the makesure you go and pay and get your ticket and dip your netts and slings and get to your swim within 30mins. Will be back in the new year. Thanks Guys

My first experience at Farlows was not the best if I m honest. Me and a friend planned on fishing farlows lake 1 at the weekend and we had done a lot of preparation, spent a fair amount of money on the trip. I have been keeping an eye on Facebook and Instagram updates and there website showed they were open. We arrived after a fairly long journey too find out that lake 1 was closed for a match. The first person I spoke to from the angling direct shop said it was advertised all over social media sites. The second person said the same. So I asked him to show us. It turned out that they had put it on a farlows group page that you have to join to read the messages.... Not everyone reads groups and as I have never been there before I definitely wasn't even aware of the group. Also I don't wanna be in a group! There website shows "no bookings first come first serve" well this clearly isn't the case at farlows is it? Not only is that false advertising, we got blamed for the mistake for not calling in advance! Can you imagine if everyone called the shop before arriving? They would never be off the phone with that many swims! We also spoke to other anglers who had said they had the same issue. Advertise your matches farlows! Add a calendar to your website and make the link available on your social media. There map for lake 2 wrong also. I would like to say I would go back but the place has left a sour taste in my mouth and I hope this review will be helpful to others before arriving at this place.

No booking (no spaces available to fish) over fished, over priced and if they have events on they bait up that area a week in advance limiting the fishing for other anglers! Not recommended

Our group fished farlows a fair few times. It’s a beautiful place and beautiful carp. HOWEVER on our last visit we placed our buckets on 3 swims that had a lot of fish showing. We then went round to pay at the shop as usual, what we didn’t know was the Balife Charlie had closed the ticket office and gone to collect our buckets For his mates to set up on. Absolutely disgusting and he still wanted to take our money and let us fish on other swims. Since then we have talked to other angles who also would highly recommend AVOIDING farlows. Just check out some of the reviews going up lately and you will see Charlie has been at it again.

Great place for nice trip for fishing. Before you go make sure you meeting their requirements which I've been surprised by. Tackle shop on site along with cafe and toilets and even showers. Water is nice and farily clear. Nice pegs (some are quite big). I've been on lake 2 which is the medium one. Check prices and rules on their website as everything there is kept up to date. Even you can check weather predictions for their area.

This lake is probably one of the best carp fishing lake in the country, also they have some stunning looking carp. They have 3 lake on the site Lake 1 is the biggest one fish up to 40+. Lake 2 is smaller one, Lake 3 is like a small pond. The staff is really helpful they always there to help you if you have any questions just ask them!! They really look after they fish, that is why they ask all anglers to Dip they fishing equipments (net/mat/sling). You don't have to buy your ticket when you arrive first you can look around and if you found the area where you want to fish you just leave your bucket there and then you go buy the Ticket. This is really helpful for the anglers, as your time starts from the time you bought your ticket. There is onsite Tackle shop (Angling Direct) The shop is well equipped, baits/clothing/tackle everything fishing. Toilet and Shower facility on the lake which is 24hr open. And also they have takeaway or eat in buffet sort of thing. I would recommend it to everyone to try out if you can.

No doubting the quality of the fish and facilities, but the lake is massively over pegged and over fished. I have fished it twice, the second time I was asked to move my bivvy as the fishery owner had told the person they could double up with me as my swim was designated a double (I had only gone into it as it was the only available swim on lake 2) There are loads of local clubs offering cheaper and less busy fishing...

Excellent venue. Only had good experiences. Only been here first time, but definitely coming back. Unfortunately didn’t manage to catch carp yet , only some massive bream, it was good experience to explore the place. The venues and AD staff both friendly, and helpful. Wish it was locates a bit closer to me.

First time I ever fished this fishery, started out with just a 12 hour day ticket then decided to extend to a 24 hour ticket, and got 2 beautiful Carp, one Scaled Mirror and one Common, never been somewhere and surprisingly caught a pike on pop up boilies, which was bizarre to me, also was my first ever pike catch, would recommend and definitely will be going back, strict rules but what fishery doesn't have strict rules, recommend getting a 24 hour ticket here for sure, can't wait to revisit!

It's potential is obvious, but..... Sandwiched between the M25 & Heathrow's runways, the amount of litter and the 'one of my 5 buckets reserves a swim policy, its a painful experience. Its hard to believe all the dodgy looking vans driving around are fisherman going for breakfast /toilet/supermarket/lunch /tackle shop...... I can only advise, DON'T leave your kit unattended. And it's time to book swims when you book in. Dump the bucket system.....

First time at Farlows and so far blanked, but you can see why it's the best. Having just had a shower I'm fresh writing this, that having been out stalking I'm seeing massive fish and will be moving with the herd to change swims shortly. No fuss here to do that. Extremely polite and informative bailiffs, and when it's 'Angling Direct' on site the knowledge and helpfulness is unending. Very busy at the shop, and walking around the site over the last two days I'm seeing so many great swims, just turn up and breath a bit ... take at least 1hr to wander before putting a bucket down. New people arrive every 6-7 hrs so don't panic

Literally the premier day ticket venue. Large carp on offer with plenty of swims. Helpful bailiffs and all amenities you could want. Eric's tackle shop on site so nothing is unobtainable. Cafe provides decent food and delivered to your swim. Toilets and showers also available. Ticket prices reflect the venue and well worth the added few quid other venues may not charge on their prices.
