Used to come here every summer with activenture - was always exciting for those special children to get out on the water and enjoy taking part in fun activities. Both the children attending and volunteers always had lots of fun in the canoes, even if their was lots of splashing and someone was always made to jump in lol. The staff here were always really friendly and excellent with children with disabilities and additional needs. A great place to visit to give water sports a go.

The main part is much smaller than I thought it would be. 3 or so pub type benches.A tiny little window in the office for tea's coffee ☕ , a few ice creams etc. One single toilet 🚽. The lady serving was very friendly. The parking is back down the hill . The disabled parking is not available at the moment. Nice to walk around. Rickety pub tables around the reservoir. But very welcome. Nice place. Lots of kids learning to do all water based activities. Well worth a visit, and bring a picnic 🧺🧺.

Took my children aged 14, 10 and 4. I was in the double kayak with the youngest and the other 2 had singles. Even though it was a rainy day my children enjoyed the freedom of being out on the water and have asked to definitely go back again! Happy all round.

A tranquil and remote beauty spot, very clean and extremely well kept. Great paths for those long walks with the family & the dog(s). Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Range of water activities (kayaks, paddle boards etc) available, equipment for hire at a reasonable rate. Right by a beautiful lake.

The staff are really helpful and friendly. I went with my friends, who'd been there before, to do stand up paddle-boarding and kayaking. We'd booked an hour but ended up spending 1.5 hours on the water and they were super cool about it. We're definitely going again!
