Lovely country pub with amazing home-cooked meals. Sunday roasts are back on at the Pear Tree. Molly and Nial are incredibly dedicated landlords who make everyone feel very welcome. Well worth a visit.

Fabulous place to go to eat. Had a 30th birthday function here with a buffet for over 30 people, one of the best buffets i have ever had at an event. The food was all homemade from scratch and the menu creativity was excellent. My friends and family had such a lovely day, would highly recommend.

Lovely Sunday roast. Veg came out in a separate dish with more gravy. The lady that served us was very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be going back. X

Went in for a business meeting as I felt this place would be the perfect setting and location. When I asked to place my business card on their community board the male bar staff agreed. Ventured into the garden to come back and order another drink for it to be removed. When I asked the young man behind the bar he said I quote " I DUNNO IM NOT THE ONLY PERSON HERE" I then explained I shall report to the brewery of his awful attitude to be told "YOU WONT GET FAR" I demanded my card back and oh he miraculously found it!! (From the bin I suspect) Terrible service, terrible atmosphere, terrible support for local perfessional people!! Not again thank you 👍

A beautifully maintained and looked after establishment. The food is excellent quality although not served every day at the moment. I wish the place opened more days and hours. Great place to go to with the family /children. New children's outdoor play area. Friendly and safe atmosphere.

Took a wander out here today, first time in many years. Looked nice and tidy, as it's a confined bar area, everyone was shouting to be heard, but that can't be helped. Ordered a whisky, dash of coke with ice, received a brand whisky coke shandy with lemon... at nearly £6 was taken aback. Considering I can have a malt for less than £5 in most bars. Myself and puppy were 'pushed' a couple of times, blankly stared at by staff and obvious locals... It's nice to see a local pub doing well, but i won't be going back.

This small pub has a big heart. Family run, friendly, welcoming with a homely feel, the menu is small & simple, but this means everything is cooked fresh to order. The quality & presentation of the food is immaculate along with the service, we were staying at the Botley Park Hotel & Spa for two nights pre-cruise, but chose to eat at The Pear Tree Inn as the food & service is far superior to what we were served at the hotel. I would highly recommend this pub to anyone wanting good honest home cooked food 5 ⭐️

Popped in for a cheeky shandy on way home, ordered the drinks, got attracted to the lunch menu! Had the Beef Potato Skins and the Nachos. Served by the land lady in the pleasant garden, it also has a children’s area so great if you have little ones to keep occupied. Food looked great, smelled superb and looked soooo professionally presented. Taste of both dishes was fantastic. This couple know how to cook, present, welcome ……..you name it, a great pub with a great future with these two in charge. Pop in, you won’t be disappointed.

Great little pub with decent outside space and a small function room with skittle alley. Played golf with their society and went back for food. Chilli and Curry were both excellent and served with generous sides.

We visited for the Easter funday and had a brilliant time! They had a bouncy castle and lots of activities for the kids. The BBQ was great and the service from all the staff was excellent, despite the fact they were so busy. Definitely recommend this pub!
