Had good/friendly service. I had the meal deal and stayed overnight with breakfast the breakfast had loads of selection and the staff was constantly topping everything up which was nice to see

I really like it here. And great value for money compared to others. Only reason why I scored it 4 out of 5 is because there never seems to be a rush on for eggs. Happy to Make you wait. (I come every Wednesday nearly, always the same) Staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely a place I’d recommend for Breakfast with friends and family.

We booked here for breakfast, the food was delicious and freshly cooked.,it was an all you can eat buffet. We were seated quickly too. Definitely worth a visit and definitely returning. Staff were friendly and welcoming too.

Wonderful service and friendly staff today fir Sunday lunch. My daughter had a brilliant chicken burger and my wife and I had a lovely roast turkey dinner both from the festive menu. With the roasts we got a chance to choose our own veg from the carvery hatch. Brussels a bit under cooked for my liking but roasties and parsnips were to die for! Have the trifle for desert which was very nice. A lot of lovely dishes to choose from so will have to go back!

Evening meal great, breakfast not so good. Fruit salad? Sliced apple. Buffet breakfast same as everywhere, been left standing for far too long with rubber eggs, cold hash browns and soggy bacon.

Really good breakfast. It's often busy on the weekend so booking is a good idea. The staff are excellent welcoming and friendly. The coffee is delicious. Not the cheapest breakfast around but we'll worth it. If they did fried bread it would be even better!!

They were short staffed when we visited, but we were told about that on arrival. The food was good and the service was still quite good overall, so we had a nice meal and a nice time. I think it's quite a nice environment too, with a decent car park and good disabled access. We will visit again, I'm sure.

We stayed at the Premier Inn on the same site, and this pub is where your included meals were served. It's a large pub with seating on various levels and a few tables outside too. A lot of choice on the menu for for the evening meal. Great food. The staff worked very hard to keep up with demand and they were all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was a help yourself buffet with an excellent choice of food on offer. Very clean and tidy with a welcoming atmosphere.

Didn't book. Sat around the bar area for food. Nice style of pub the staff were friendly and polite. Bit of a wait at the bar with only One person serving but not to bad. Food was great tasting and looked amazing. The portion sizes was a bit small in our opinion. Overall I would come again.

Table for 8. It took quite a while to seat us... but, once sat we had a thoroughly lovely time. The staff were busy but didnt show stress. We were on a later sitting but didnt feel rushed to go home.. in fact by the time we had paid the bill,, breakfast had been set up around us. We are a group of adults, and whilst we live children we wanted to have a measure of peace.. however the staff were running around ensuring everyone was catered for. Now the food.. you lnow what.. it aint bad for the price and the amounts they have to churn out. Averaged at £27 for two courses and copious amounts of drinks.. soft and alcoholic. Well done you guys, you kept very cool under the strain of minimal staff.

Really enjoyed our meal here. Staff were friendly and really attentive to drinks refills. No long wait for food, was all fresh and got when it arrived.

Food was OK, but customer service terrible. No idea if they're short staffed, but a big group table were already making a complaint when I arrived, which should have been a red flag! All the staff just walk passed you, even though they can see you're waiting to order. I even had to ask 3 different members of staff for the bill! It's like they didn't want my money! Definitely will be avoiding this Beefeater in the future.

Decided to try this place for lunch on the spur of the moment,+ were very pleased we did .Good value £9.95 2 course lunch menu, also a lot of choice on the wine menu.We only had a very short wait for our food, which was very good considering a very large party of people had arrived just before us. We had 2 delightful + efficient waitresses, ,Sian + Chantal. We'll be back soon !

Really disappointing, phoned and booked a table for me and my father. Arrived to be told it was a reduced menu, short on chefs. Starters we had cheesy garlic bread, couldn't even taste garlic, so basically got served soggy cheesy bread. Then we had Ribeye Steak. Asked for my steak rare it was served blue. Which I don't mind. The chips were undercooked. And the peas were like bullets. A really disappointing meal we travelled 20 miles for. As last time we came everything was spot on perfect.

Lovely breakfast with lots of choice. The hot counter was super and piping hot and the colder items were equally as good and well chilled. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that I was uncomfortable in the booth as the table was too close to the bench for any of us adults to sit without the table squeezing into our middles. Nothing to do with the super food quality but maybe could be taken into consideration when next refurb is due? Big shout out also to the awesome staff on duty that morning. They worked their socks off to make sure everyone had what they needed and all very cheerful and smiley too which in turns puts the customers in a happy place- well done all of you!
