Getting our rings made with Rod was fantastic. Rod was very patient and attentive. He took us through the ring making process every step of the way and we have come out of the workshop with TWO fabulous rings, one silver and one in white gold. Highly recommend !

We had a fantastic experience going to Rod for our wedding rings. Rod made our rings for us, with one being made from a melted down family ring, and he could not have been more accommodating, informative and welcoming throughout the process. The rings look and feel amazing, Rod helped show us how the fit is so important. It's so special to have wedding rings which we know where they have come from and how they have been made. Well what can I say, what an experience. A lovely friendly environment and wonderful teacher to be able to make a ring which is so special and personal to me. Rod is a fabulous teacher explaining everything step by step but allowing you to actually make your own piece of jewellery. We wholeheartedly recommend Rod for any silversmithing workshop or any jewellery making needs! So lucky to have found him for a wedding ring workshop, it was exactly what we were looking for. Excellent contact throughout the whole process, before and after the workshop, and the workshop itself was great fun. We can recommend making a weekend of it and staying in Frome for the weekend and exploring the area too. Altogether 10/10, love the rings, thanks Rod!

Wedding Ring Workshop We travelled down from Macclesfield to join Rod in his workshop for the day and we couldn't recommend a session like this enough! Rod was a fantastic, funny and patient jeweller, guiding us through the process of making the rings for our wedding next year. Not only did we come away with our wedding rings, but also the silver rings we made before working with the white gold. We both went for a simple hammered texture to the rings and they turned out perfectly. Rod even offers ring resizing [if needed at a later date] for any jewellery made during the workshops. 10/10 would recommend to anyone, especially if you want to make your wedding rings that little bit more personal.

I booked myself a 1:1 workshop with Rod to make a silver cuff for myself and it was such a fun experience! Rod was so patient and informative about the whole process and helped me feel confident in trying out totally new to me processes. I absolutely love the cuff and it hasn't left my wrist since! We met Roderick at the Frome Independent Market, and after searching around for a while, he seemed to just simplify the entire process. We chose to have a wedding ring workshop, and we could not fault anything. Just a marvellous experience! After showing friends and family our rings, they were all amazed that making our own rings was even a thing you could do. Absolutely would, and already have, recommend Roderick to anyone looking for a great experience, and to get wonderful rings afterwards too!

A small group of us one chilly Nov afternoon, all were warmly greeted & stepped through a lovely few hours of creativity. Rod, patient, gentle, kind & funny weathered us & our lack of skills through to a completed shiny ring each .. what a joy.. thank you Rod
