We went at the opening time after previously making a reservation, were seated straight away. The staff were friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere. The food was lovely, but just lacked that zing of spice or seasoning. Our children enjoyed their food, and portion sizes were great for them. The only thing, if I really had to pick downside, would be that after empty glasses were taken, we weren't offered another drink and had to call someone over to ask.

Absolutely fabulous place, the price is very fair. I would go here again for any occasion. The staff are kind and make the already fantastic experience even better.

Awesome food, fab staff and fab wine! My congratulations to the Chef (from Sicily) to cook my dish from scratch because of my allergies and a big thanks to the rest of the staff! We had a lovely evening. Friendly, attentive staff and delicious food at a good price. A special thank you to the lovely lady who helped when my daughter felt faint. Highly recommend 🙂

On Weds 13th Sept we had our wedding evening meal. 19 of us were well fed and watered. It was a fantastic evening and the staff were superb, even if we became slightly rowdy towards the end of the evening.

Nice food but awful service. We waited ages for a drink with our meal and it became apparent they’d forgotten. Eventually they bought it over after we asked again. We also waited a long time for pudding which they’d also completely forgotten about. Then waited really long time to pay for the bill too. We did complain to the owner at the bar; but no apology. Shame as had lovely meals here before with much better service.

Best authentic Italian restaurant in Newport. Definitely worth a visit if you have not been before. A few vegetarian options. No vegan options. Lovely atmosphere and great selection for drinks. Always looked after here
