An amazing place to spend a few hours shopping. This place has outlets of almost all the major fashion brands and have a good collection. Most outlets here have huge discounts running and have clearance sales.. making this a good choice to shop for clothes cheaper than it’s outlets in other locations. The designer outlet village is a stretch of around a hundred shops of fashion. It also houses food courts, cinema and other entertainment. This location is well mentioned, neat and tidy. The main pathway is decorated with flowers and has benches all across the stretch. The toilets are also clean and well maintained. One can easily spend around 4 hours here to browse through all the outlets. Please factor in a bit more time for food breaks. Most outlets would be closed by 5/6 PM in the evening. If you’re planning to cover the entire stretch, please reach here by noon, the earliest. If you’re planning for a picnic, there are some good beaches and parks not very far from this place, which can be clubbed in a single trip. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ shopping experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ brand presence ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ambience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ value for money Verdict: a good location for a short shopping trip

A reasonable selection of shops although a few more empty units than I remember seeing before. However, a better range of food and refreshments units. Kept very clean and tidy - has a nice feel about it.

A great place to get some good deals on prices but it is an outlet so is limited on stock availability with some of last year's winter clothes in the sales. There are lots of places to eat and they have now put some lovely seating areas in which is really needed while you shop. Great place to go but you may not get everything you need so keep that in mind

Great place to do some Christmas shopping. A great selection of stores...which I hit-HARD! 😂 Plenty of car parking and food outlets. Notable stores were Clogau, Next, M&S, Crew Clothing, Joules....the list goes on! Friendly and professional staff. Even the Christmas Decorations were pleasant! Will definately be back soon.

If you have been to one of these fashion outlet villages, you know what to expect. It's the same. If not, there are a lot of clothes, shoes, sporting stores side by side. Each having a neverending sale season (in most or some of them items). Huge parking place, a food court, toilets. Roofed walkways, so should also work on a rainy day. Need to update the wardrobe? This is the spot for that.

Got some history stuff here, apparently King Charles was born here or something like that. Also got the world's biggest map of Wales which is cool. Never seen a map that big. Also got ice cream and torture chambers. Got some kids entertainment too. Good for them to realise not everything revolves around 'TikTok' or 'Snap Chat' and that some people really suffer in life

Nice Outlet with many stores at discounted prices. There are plenty of places to eat, drink and a play area for children. Parking is okay and also cinema and Sainsbury’s with petrol station within close vicinity .

Lots of shop choices, but quite busy which was to be expected as we came on the weekend. Good for finding deals, but some of the outlet shops can be quite difficult to navigate unlike their normal version. Would definitely recommend coming here once in a while, but not somewhere you'd shop frequently as they usually sell out of season stock.

Can't vouch for the designer shops as I'm not a fan of designer labels. We stopped off there on way home to get a McDonald's after our holiday in Wales. Plenty of free parking and toilets and food outlets seemed clean.

Not always full of bargains, but frequently capable of offering some good deals, the centre is usually worth a visit. There is a decent mix of outlets that range from coffee shops, footwear and food to luggage and formal wear, with some really well known and recognisable brands to be found. There is an indoor food hall, where famous names sit alongside some less well known ones, which should provide something for any taste. Next door is a multi screen cinema, featuring the latest film releases and a restaurant for those who want something a little more than fast food, you should also look out for the occasional kiosk, that offer such as beers or bratwurst. Car parking is excellent, free and due to the design layout, easily accessible from either end of the precinct, with disabled access a clear consideration.

Based just off the M4 between Swansea and Cardiff, this designer outlet village has two large car parks, the main one at the front and a quiet overflow one at the rear. A really clean and open shopping outlet, lots of nice flower beds, plenty of places to sit all the way down the main stretch of shops and clean toilets. A huge range of designer shops, often running large discounts and regularly cheaper than you will find online, a great place to see items you are interested in, in person. Midweek is a great time to visit as it's nice and quiet.

Its a real shame as mcarther glen bridgend used to be a lovely local shopping area we would visit regular. I wouldn't recommend purely because of the type of people shopping there now.. Along with a majority of people visiting ignoring the store signs for covid (masks, distancing and hand sanitizer) . Didn't feel very safe there.

Loads of shops, good sales & prices, fab food options, plenty of parking. Kids play area right outside the cafe is perfect. AMAZING baby change facilities with toilets inside the change cubicle which is very handy.

Still one of the best out of town shopping centres around South Wales. Good range of shops with reasonable prices and plenty of parking (albeit can get busy which shows how popular it is) Keep going back for outdoors clothes and gear, shoes and chocolate - seriously, all three of these are supremely well catered for

We had food at five guys. It is the nicest place i have had fast food from. I was told its expensive but for what you get and the fact it made me full all day i do not think it is. We went to the odeon & lay down on their seats to watch the film, it was very comfortable. I definitely recommend going there.

Good shopping experience. Sheltered and dog friendly. Children's play area in the corner with ample toilet facilities. Plenty of benches to sit and rest. All clothes sold are sale price from other stores brought up to McArthur Glenn for the end of season sell off. You can grab some good bargains here. Hardly any Blue Light Discount as everything is already discounted at sale price.

Fantastic variety of retail, caters for all. Easy access, make a day of it,beach not to far away. The designer outlet provides for all,and always can get a good bargain or two.

I was here on 3rd Jan & all the shops were open. Whatever the weather I like that it's under cover. Can easily get refreshments as go around & eat out in there food court. It was quite busy as people looked for a bargin. People did respect your space. Masks were needed in all shops and some popular shops limited there numbers within so people queued outside.

  • 4/5 James G. 2 years ago on Google
Was a good selection of shops and eating places. When we arrived and got a coffee (from McDonald's) because everything was still closed. The alarm went off and they had to evacuate the centre. This took less than 10minutes, which was impressive. Once we got back in, we managed to find everything we wanted. The staff in all the shops we visited were polite and friendly. A good 2or3hours walk about. Would recommend others visit.

I had an amazing experience at this lounge! The ambiance is fantastic, with both indoor and outdoor seating options. The friendly staff made me feel right at home. It even brought back memories of the open clubs in my hometown in India. Highly recommended for a great time!

Haven't visited the outlet for quite a while and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of shops there now. Lots of choice and a good selection of food outlets too. Definitely worth a few hours of your time to have a browse

If buying more than a few items from a single store, then it's good. Otherwise for a majority of the stores it's not cheap as compared to the other outlets within the cities. Certainly not cheap as compared to regular Canadian stores. Also, in order to save money, plan to shop for the season on a single trip so that savings can be justified.

It's a great place to enjoy the day with your family and friends

  • 4/5 stub m. 7 months ago on Google
Not unpleasant, good selection of shops but you have to hunt around for the deals. Most stores selling end ofline products at reduced prices, so someone like me who takes average size in jacket, trousers and shoes can struggle to find choices. On a very hot day, the food court was unbearably hot.

  • 3/5 Ian Y. 8 months ago on Google
The shopping experience is ok although there are more shops empty this time than previous visits. However the food choice here is very limited. The food hall used to be very good with lots of choice but now there's only 2 kiosks open. The other restaurants we've tried on previous occasions and are poor. Really does let the place down.

  • 3/5 paula w. 2 years ago on Google
Well organised with the food hall ,cinema and plenty of toilets. I love that its undercover but was really disappointed with the shops. Most of them look like are at a jumble sale !

  • 5/5 Christopher S. 7 months ago on Google
Love this place! Takes Bridgend up a notch, fantastic array of shops, amusements and restaurants. Feels a little bit like being in America (on a nice day) Personal favourites are the cinema and Five Guys

  • 5/5 Winifred L. 9 months ago on Google
Good range of shops and ample parking. Bargains available at the outlet shops. The food hall has the usual fast food whilst upstairs is the cinema, together with a Nando's. Good shopping outlet.

Great shopping experience. Lovely to take my dog too who was allowed inside the shops. Good on Starbucks who were the only dog friendly coffee house. Plenty of free parking.

Good parking very close to M4 . Covered arcade type shopping in a C shape. With a mix of outlets and cafes. Not cheep. Disappointed with food court less variety than on previous visit.

  • 3/5 Mark W. 4 months ago on Google
Love going to McArthur Glen Designer Outlet. Really good range of shops and plenty of free parking. My only negative is the food court. It really has limited options and none of which are actually that great. They used to have more food options and even then it was a little lacking, but now it is just rather disappointing.

  • 5/5 Elisabeth P. 5 months ago on Google
Great shops to explore & plenty of places to grab a coffee or food. Toilets & precinct areas were spotless, with lots of parking. Recommend a visit with some great brands there to choose from footwear, menswear, ladies, beauty & children's. If you want ease of parking (free parking), everything in one place, then this is the place go. Most of it is undercover & they also supply free complimentary umbrella if you've forgotten yours.

  • 3/5 Michael J. 2 years ago on Google
A reasonable range of big name outlets. However its roof is intermittent which results in shoppers getting wet when it rains. Very strange design for the modern mall. Otherwise, a pleasant area to shop.

A large, clean and modern shopping centre with a good selection of shops and restaurants. Ample parking all around with easy and quick access to different areas, a well kept cinema and plentiful toilet facilities. There is even a children's play area with equipment for children of all ages.

The place is amazing, it's got all you need for a full day out. Shops that sell everything galore, kids play parks and stunning places to eat with a large choice of food. There are a number of public toilets dotted around everything is well sign posted. Plus a full multi cinema with all the latest movies. It's the ideal place for a day out, and perfect for grandfather granddaughter baby sitting.

  • 4/5 Wendy G. 2 years ago on Google
Met my sister and her family here for the day, we had great fun wondering around and having a look around the shops. There is a huge covered play area for the children to run around in, climb around and have fun on the slides. It is suitable for all age groups. There is a huge selection of places to eat, lots of parking with well maintained and clean toilet facilities in and round the shopping walk way. The shopping walk way is fully covered so come rain or shine a lovely day out. There are quite a few dog friendly shops, these can be found listed on there website.

As I was here a couple of days in Porthcawl, I had a look at the shopping street , its quaint and local to the beaches so nothing us too far , plenty of Charity shops , Coop , that I noticed and shopped at, and various cafe and takeaway places , there as well as on the Beach . Only visited once liked what I saw .

Jesus wept. Took me thirty minutes to leave the car park. Utter shambles with one exit point and narrow lanes. Christmas decorations we nice for the kids though.

  • 5/5 Niki C. 1 year ago on Google
Great selection of shops. We have visited a few times around Christmas and parking is never an issue! Food hall is nice, but seating can be limited at busy times. Great for shopping with the whole family, the range of shops is enough to keep everyone happy!

  • 5/5 Michal B. 1 year ago on Google
Great shopping centre, similar to others we have seen and great to see the quality is retained. Kids section is lovely, sheltered and great for an hour of fun. Next to it is a cafe with ice creams as well and extra seating near by. Parking is massive so remember where you have parked your car. Food options also great and if not enough, next door neighbor is Sainsbury's, Odeon cinema and few other places. 👍

Usually have bought something worthwhile.Shoppers are Covid careful in my experience. Parking is good & the outlet is very easy to find.A few empty shops at the moment but I'm sure this will change.

  • 5/5 Halama W. 2 years ago on Google
Often take a run down to Bridgend to the outlet store worth the ride as you do save on the pricing. Have a good look around there are bargains in good quality designer cloth g, bags, shoes watches etc to be found. Plenty of parking and toilets.

Been a while since we have visited The Designer Outlet in Bridgend. Lots of shops have changed some bigger some sadly not there but majority of units all populated by big brands. It was clean tidy very busy and well organized. Would recommend a visit. Actually bought a set of cooking knives and a block not something you would find in many high streets. Enjoyed our visit plenty of food outlets to visit for that vital cuppa.

  • 4/5 Roy K. 1 year ago on Google
It's not a bad place to visit for an out-of-town shopping trip. It's a bit hit-and-miss whether you find what you're looking for depending on the stock available. Most of it is under cover, so ok to stroll around on a rainy day. It can get very busy on the weekends; the car park is large but does get full at peak times.

  • 4/5 Shaun D. 1 year ago on Google
Very good for clothes shopping and a few other interesting shops too. Also a cinema and food hall. The place is very clean and well presented, unfortunately quite a few empty shops last time I went.

  • 3/5 anita p. 1 year ago on Google
Sadly lacking in stores when we visited - so many vacant premises with "New store" coming soon billboards. More outlets for men than women on this occasion. I visited Marks & Spencer ; Next but wasn't impressed with stock. Sizes were either 8 10 some 12s, 16 & 18. We chose to eat at Pizza Express - still great value for an all in 1 price with many different Pizzas all replenished straight away.

Designer Outlet is a fantastic day out for all the family and a must visit place recommend to all out guests. From free parking, top brand shopping, play area, cinema, restaurants, coffee shops, supermarket and petrol station to fuel up. The outlet has everything you need!

  • 5/5 Shalini K V. 1 year ago on Google
It's a nice place for shopping. It has clean toilets. There are plenty of benches to sit and relax during shopping. There is a play area for kids. Keeps them distracted as adults can finish up their shopping. But any one adult supervision of kid is a must. There are many eateries which keep you hydrated and full the entire day. A day is not Enough to check all the shops.

A little haven for some great bargains if you happen to be there at the right time. A good mix of variety and prices. We love shopping in Mc Arthur Glen.

The place we go to to get into the Christmas spirit. The place is already starting to feel festive. Most shops open at 10AM.

  • 4/5 Lina K. 10 months ago on Google
Great shopping place. Lots of great stores and parking spaces. The area was generally clean and well maintained. I love the cinema as well, which makes it a nice day out all around. If anything, I was hoping to have more options on the restaurants.

As someone who values variety and convenience when shopping, I have to say that the designer outlet in Bridgend really impressed me. With lots of shops and a wide range of product options available, there was something to suit every need and taste. Whether looking for the latest fashions or something a bit more unique, the outlets at Bridgend really delivered. But as a parent, I was also really impressed by the addition of the park. It was great to have a place where my son could run around and burn off some energy. The park was well-maintained, with plenty of space and play equipment that was perfect for kids of all ages. And best of all, it was located right next to the outlets, making it easy to keep an eye on my son. One of the other highlights of the designer outlet in Bridgend was the food options. There was a great selection of cafes and restaurants, with plenty of options for every taste and dietary need. Whether looking for a quick snack or a sit-down meal, there was something for everyone. And the food was consistently high quality - always fresh and tasty. Overall, I would highly recommend the designer outlet in Bridgend to anyone looking for a great shopping experience. With its wide variety of stores, great food options, and convenient park, it's the perfect place to spend an afternoon browsing and enjoying the outdoors.

  • 2/5 Graham R. 11 months ago on Google
The retail park lacks something, a feeling of cohesion, something to make it work as a whole. It feels cold. It has the usual range of shops with the eating facilities pushed to one side, located in one area. For me, I park, and there is plenty of parking available, then walk to Starbucks. I don't spend more than a few minutes looking elsewhere, because there is nothing drawing me to do so. I think it lacks the range and depth of shops needed to make it interesting.
