What an amazing beach for sunsets.

Nice waves, easy to park and lovely views! We hammocked on the cliff and surfed in the morning, I’ve been a couple times, will def go back!

Large, unspoiled beach. Car parking available, including disabled right next to beach. Dog allowed in winter. Cafe close by, offering hot snacks. Water sports available during summer at least, very popular with surfers.

Lovely day down rest bay. Well looked after by porthcawl lifeguards. Little bit crazy on times when the surfers make it a little dangerous for swimmers by not having the sense to listen to the safety notices of the life guards, overall great place clean beaches and a lovely place to enjoy the sun

Amazing place great facilities and beautiful beach. Beaches each side of the main beach are tranquil with easy walking. Again cost to park when it's our beach! Winds me up.

Excellent beach with great facilities, plenty of parking and somewhere to hire boards, wetsuits, SUPS and more! They also run daily surfing lessons.

Closest surf spot to me, nice cafe but a little pricey (expected) as it has a stellar view of the ocean. Medium strength rip currents either side of lifeguard shack but can be avoided

Rest Bay is a lovely big beach. Perfect for swimming and paddle boarding.

Nice beach. Some good shops and a restaurant. Public toilets are quite good. Worth a visit. Relatively quiet.

Great beach. Great surf shop. Great cafe. All you need for a fun day out.

Beautiful pebble beach and you can walk along the coastal path to truly appreciate it. Parking should be paid for via Pay and Display machines.

Very popular with surfers all year round. The tide goes out a long way exposing loads of beach and plenty of space for everyone. There's a decent car park costing £1 per stay, when we parked there and cafe.

Such a great beach to go to with the family.
