The Exercise Coach has been life changing for me. I started there almost 3 years ago. The results have been great. My strength has improved immensely. When I started there I had terrible joint pain, but now it’s so much better. The trainers are fantastic and very encouraging. Going there has been the best thing I’ve done for myself. I definitely recommend giving it a try.

Great place to work out! The coaches are very welcoming and supportive. The studio is clean. Although there are other people in the studio working out, the focus on the privately coached exercises, along with the visual monitors on the machines that track your performance, make you almost forget that the others are even there. I prefer it over a large gym.

This has been the perfect program for me. I wanted to do some kind of exercise program when I retired but I knew a big gym wasn't my thing. When the studio opened I thought this was a perfect option - 2 days a week, 20 minute sessions. Couldn't be any easier. I've been a member for 4+ years and really enjoy my training sessions. I appreciate the encouragement from the coaches. They are great are adjusting your workout if you are having aches and pains on a particular day. Results have been great and my strength has really improved. I like the small studio atmosphere. I would highly recommend Exercise Coach in Royal Oak .

Definitely costs more than your $10 membership to your current gym that you never go to. Time to spend a little bit on something that is more effective. Twice a week...you can commit to that. 20 minute workout...you can commit to that. Have a trainer with you every time...motivation, guidance, planned improvement. Make an appt to come in...accountability. I highly recommend Exercise Coach for those that are ready to invest in themselves and aren't getting it done on their own. Small "regular faces" studio, not intimidating or crowded.

Working with these amazing, inspiring, and easy to talk to coaches has helped me do something I never did before: stick to my health and fitness goals! Each coach creates a strength training program personalized for your body weaknesses and strengths. I have been a client for almost 2 years and my core, arms, and legs have never been stronger. The workouts here helped me even become a faster runner with more stamina!

Gyms can be intimidating. The Exercise Coach removes this barrier and brings focus for those folks who want the attention of a personal trainer and focused strength training with limited time. Its a commitment but a good one to make for yourself and I am glad I did. Adding the Exercise Coach to my weekly routine has brought about the results I wanted as I grapple with getting older and the need to ensure I do not lose strength.

Excellent place to work out, wonderful results! Its free to try (first 2 sessions) and worth every penny to stay. I have been going since 5/29/19 (that was my first free trial) and on average I go twice a week. They are so supportive, a team, informative, and kind. Most of all, they work within any limitation (or strength) you have. I have chronic neck issues and it does not matter who I am training with, all of them are informed and aware of my issues, progress, and probably my whining! It is not just a work out, I feel they are part of my family. They care about my progress and it shows. I joined one of their challenges - metabolic comeback! I won, but that is not the only reason I am bragging! I lost 9.5 lbs and 1.4% body fat by following their recommendations and coming in twice a week for 30 days! It works if you want it to work, and I promise the team that I get to see, they want me to succeed!

I highly recommend you give TEC Royal Oak/Birmingham a try. I walked in to TEC a little more than a year ago, using a cane due to stenosis and a herniated disc. Due to various reasons, surgery has been delayed but within the first six months, I have ditched the cane, and my balance has improved as well as my strength. The workouts are semi-private, and my trainers are beyond exceptional. Tristan, Andrea, Nick and Mark put a plan together that has helped me gain strength and maintain my mobility. TEC offers two free visits. There is no high pressure sales tactics. Just a great team to help you with your strength and fitness needs. Give them a try!

I hate to exercise. The Exercise Coach works for me. 20 minutes twice a week and I am stronger with good balance. The staff are knowledgeable, supportive and professional. The first two sessions made me realize that I needed to be there. Now 20 months later I continue to be challenged and I feel good knowing I am moving forward.

I started at Exercise Coach a few years ago. My first thought was that I wouldn’t last long. It looked difficult and not something a man my age should be doing. The “Exercise” part was true. But it’s not just exercise, it’s carefully designed resistance training - pushing and pulling to rebuild muscles. Equally important is the “Coach” part. From the minute I walk in I’m met by a “Coach” - someone trained to take me through the use of various exercises. He or she demonstrates each piece of equipment, then encourages me as I work out. As I said, that was a few years ago. I’m now 87 and look forward to my twenty minute sessions twice a week. Take their no-cost offer. As the old saying goes: “Try it, you’ll like it.”

I've never been able to force myself to work out regularly. With Exercise Coach, I've successfully bought in to the accountability of showing up at a scheduled time, twice per week for a short 20-25 minute workout for more than a year. This gym works for me and has contributed to improving and maintaining my strength, balance as well as cholesterol and A1C scores.
