Well… very, very small business. They were very nice but there were a lot of rules at this restaurant starting with no computers at your table… while you’re waiting for your food… Another rule seems to be “don’t sit down until you’ve ordered”. The hostess/owner(?) was very active in enforcing the rules. The food is excellent (Huevos Rancheros) but I’ve been sufficiently turned off enough that I won’t return. When you pay $25 for a coffee and a meal, it’s seems like a fair expectation to sit and enjoy the food at the restaurant while “indulging” in remote work.

First time at Jefferson Market and it did not disappoint. We had the egg and cheese biscuit and the breakfast burrito, both excellent. Wonderful service too. We will definitely be back!

I had not been here since Mighty Good had purchased the establishment. I am pleased to say, I am impressed by their brunch offerings and the coffee was in fact Mighty Good. I had the huevos ranchero, while simple breakfast and rhubarb muffins were also ordered for our table. I would recommend all of those options and found the ingredients fresh and the treatment of them very professional.

This lovely little restaurant, tucked into the middle of the neighborhood in the Old Westside of Ann Arbor, has been a delight to be able to go to for breakfast and lunch and they now have take-home dinners. I usually come for their delicious breakfasts which have included the very simple egg and cheese biscuit (which can come with bacon or a really tasty ginger-sage sausage). The biscuit is light and fluffy and overall very tasty. I have also had the breakfast burrito and the simple breakfast which were equally delicious. But, last night I tried their Take Home Dinner for TWO and was really pleased. I ordered the Spinach & Mushroom Lasagna and chose the Lemon Pepper Broccoli for my side. The portions were very generous and flavorful. But, besides how delicious it was, the best part was the timing. The dinner came packaged in individual containers and the instructions that were included in how to prepare it was written in a way that insured that by the time the lasagna had rested and was ready to eat the broccoli and roll were cooked and warmed to perfection. And last but not least, their online ordering is very easy to navigate and well thought out. UPDATE: I'm loving the takeout dinners. My latest choices were the taco dinners. There was a meat version and also a vegetarian option. The dinners came with all the extra sides you might need, salsa, sour cream, etc and again clear instructions. Tacos are tacos but these were delicious with a hint of cumin(?) in the black bean mixture of the vegetarian choice.

I only wish Ann Arbor had more corner cafes like this one right in the middle of a neighborhood. This place gets busy on weekends, but it’s worth the wait. We like to grab to go and bring home when it’s cold, or eat outside across the street while our kids play on the playground ❤️🙌🏼 my favorite is the egg and sausage biscuit sandwich- but everything is great here!

Super friendly, relaxed atmosphere. It’s a tiny little spot that I may never have noticed unless I was looking for it. It’s right on the edge of downtown on a quiet street. They have Some unique menu options and the food tastes and looks like it’s made with love. We tried the veggie (basic) breakfast burrito, semolina french toast (so good) and took a lavender blueberry scone to go. The coffee is from Mighty Good Coffee Co., I believe. Great coffee. Great place.

My family and I visit every time we come to Ann Arbor MI. It weighs on my wife's mind before we travel here from Arizona. The owners put hard work into this charming breakfast/lunch neighborhood gem. The food is consistently fresh and wonderful! Our family appreciates their level of healthy safe guards as well. Please don't retire this business for a long, long time. And Thank you for all the extras you do!

It was our first time to come here ane we liked food a lot. As they only had outdoor seating, there was some waiting time.

This place is awesome. Lattes are excellent, service is friendly. I've never had other items yet, but I'll be back! If you're out for a walk on the west side, cross Liberty and head over. COVID compliance is excellent. Staff are masked while interacting with you. You can order online or in person, and then pick up your items outside. As Delta Variant rages on like locally, this place is a great resource.

Probably my favorite breakfast in Ann Arbor. We try to come here as much as possible when we visit. The egg and cheese biscuit with bacon is incredible, and the biscuits are so good that I always get an extra one on the side with butter and homemade jam. Service is always friendly and takeout is super easy.

Cute, off the beaten path spot with a decent selection. We’ve been going to the Jefferson market for weekend breakfast religiously for the last 4 years and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. We could always use more vegetarian dishes, but the food is so good, we’re happy getting the “usual”. If you’re looking for something other than the downtown vibe for weekend brunch, definitely give Jefferson market a go!

Lovely place to sit outside for brunch. Very eco friendly. The pastries are delicious. Favorite dish is the biscuit and gravy - gravy is amazing! Wonder vegetarian sandwiches for lunch as well. The food always tastes so fresh!

Tucked away in the old west side neighborhood, the Jefferson Market is a hidden gem. The breakfast burrito with chorizo and potato and a coffee is my go-to and really hits the spot on a lazy weekend. Pick-up orders are on-time (or earlier). The folks that run the place are great and provide excellent service.

I have traveled the world and have never had scrambled eggs as good as these. No bite of bacon necessary, these eggs are meant to be savored. Homemade scrambled eggs spend their whole lives trying to be as good as these. Cook has something special going on.

Quirky little place with delicious entrees and tasty baked goods. No computers allowed! Coffee by the cup. Dine cheek by jowl with 20 or so close personal strangers on those ubiquitous hard metal chairs that say "we don't want you to stay too long." Turnover!

Everything on the menu is fantastic. We love sitting in the back garden. A hidden A2 gem.

Absolutely #1 hidden breakfast gem in Ann Arbor. Tucked away in a beautiful Old West Side neighborhood, Jefferson market brings you delicious coffee, pastries, and breakfast/lunch options. It's a family run small business and they really work hard to make the food/service consistent every time. I absolutely love the huevos rancheros with chorizo for breakfast/brunch. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Highly recommend a visit to the one and only Jefferson Market! It's a MUST try!

The cleanest restaurant in ann arbor. Quick friendly service. Also the attention to still being very covid conscious is admirable in a time where people refute science. Delicious breakfast food, highly recommend!

Today, I had the best biscuit sandwich of my life. The biscuit was buttery and the texture was incredible. Perfect egg and super crispy bacon. Far from being a one-hit wonder, Jefferson Market also has excellent corned beef hash and great specials. Local gem. 6/5 stars, will order again.

I'll be clear -- the Jefferson Market does Not need my review, but I can't help but share the joyous experiences I've had here! I am that "I'll have a brunch Any day, Any time" kind of person and have been for as long as I can remember, came from a military family and moved around most of my life. In my latest move to Ann Arbor a couple years ago (in what was still a very uncertain era of COVID), I stumbled upon this place on google and gave it a try. It instantly became my go-to spot when I need the pick-me-up brunch meal, as the food is simply delicious!! After the food, Angie and Ed are my favorite part of the visit! Their hospitality is unmatched and unwavered by snow, rain or shine. Looking forward to many more visits here because these experiences feel like home and it doesn't get much better than that.

It was game day. The place was packed, but the staff moved us through efficiently. Food was excellent. Breakfast burrito with chorizo and potatoes was perfect to make it through the game on a cold rainy Saturday.

Excellent breakfast. Loved the house-made sausage and the pear butter. Order & seating process a bit confusing for a first timer but staff and homey feeling is lovely.

Found this place when one of our "go to" breakfast spots was closed due to covid. They have some unique menu items, wonderful bakery items and the food has been fresh and hot each time we've picked up our order. Last time I had Shakshuka, a special on the menu that day, and it was bursting with flavor. Absolutely delicious!

This was my first time and I greatly enjoyed it! I dined in the outside area. For this, you order and pay in front of the building, then someone will escort you to your seat. Drinks come out almost immediately, and the food also comes out quickly. All waitstaff are masked and you are required to mask up when interacting with the staff. The food was delicious, the seating area was lovely, and the staff were friendly. The pricing is more than reasonable for the portion sizes and food quality. I’m going to come back with some friends another time. That being said, if you’re trying to learn how to eat alone, this is a good spot to start as there won’t be a lot of other people around and the food comes out so quickly that you won’t have a lot of time alone to feel self-conscious.

Nice staff. Good amount of food for price. Cute little place. The chocolate chip pancakes are very good.

I have only had a few things but I doubt you can go wrong here. The food is anywhere from 'thats pretty good I enjoyed it' to 'wow that is good'. Their bfast burrito is easily best in AA and very solid. The staff here is super friendly. I love this establishment and what they bring to the neighborhood and AA. Jefferson Market edges out a couple other spots for best breakfast in downtown AA area in my opinion.

Wow! Our breakfast was REALLY good! You might be uncertain by the looks of it when you first arrive but you should definitely try it. A plus is almost everything they use is biodegradable!!

They have the best breakfast burritos I’ve ever tasted. Excellent service and friendly staff. Eddie and Angie, we will miss you. All the best, Tommy & Vitoria

All it took was one morning with a bad hangover where my partner brought me a sausage biscuit sandwich and my first love affair began. This place is SO good, with everything they do. I have to limit myself to only ordering occasionally because it would wreck my life if I went all in. Can't find a better breakfast stop in Ann Arbor!
