Genuinely concerned about the service I received from Merlo Southport. I think her name was Jess…? She appeared to be under the influence, unable to put a sentence together…. She asked me to repeat my order (5?) times. Very aloof and unprofessional. I would definitely not return after this experience. The staff represent the business and this is completely unacceptable.

Forget about these expensive & overrated rubbish brands like Lavazza, Vittoria & Campos. Once you try Merlo, you'll never go back to these brands. I strongly recommend the Merlo Colombia, Zuri, Forza & Brazil RFA & Ariba. This coffee tastes as good as it's lovely aroma & it's packed fresh in an air tight pack & delivered to your door. The coffee has a fantastic aroma, Crema & most importantly taste. It tastes as if it came out freshly from the roasting Vats. Locally roasted in Queensland. Why pay $60 for rubbish coffee like Victoria Brazil Rex, when you can buy Merlo for only $55 & delivered to your door. If you think of it you pay $44 for Vittoria in the supermarket. Merlo is the best coffee out there. I won't buy Vittoria Brazil rex even if they paid me money. Max you should pay for Vittoria coffee is $20 a kilo. Avoid the following Brands: Vittoria Brazil Rex Lavatzza Toby's Estate Aurora coffee Grinders Moccono Lazzio Brasilero Primo Harris Goliath coffee These are the good coffee brands in order: Merlo coffee Clean skin coffee Destefano coffee Segafredo Zanetti Robert Tim's

This is my favourite place to get coffee. I buy a tin of ground coffee beans and always get offered a free take away coffee with the tin. Not only that but you get a discount when you reuse your tin! Service is always friendly, today's service: excellent! 😀

Don’t like throwing out coffee. Get a different labelling system so that you’re not mixing up orders or adding sugar to coffees that customers didn’t request.

A great cafe for true coffee lovers who appreciate a variety of bean choices and coffee preparation methods. We tried an espresso with a bean of the month - beautiful aroma. One of the better coffee places on the GC. Food options are limited but tasty and prices for everything are fair. Overall a great experience. Taste: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 Value for money: 💰💰💰💰💰/5 Customer service: ❤️❤️❤️❤️/5 Atmosphere: 😍😍😍😍😍/5 Will visit again: ✅ Important to note: The staff were all friendly and we were having a grand old time until Bohemian Rhapsody started playing and within a few bars, we overheard Gerry say that he hates the song then pressed skip... WHO HATES BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY?!

Merlo coffee, as usual, is one of the best coffee for me for a long time. The coffee is great the atmosphere overall is great. I tried some dessert banana bread and Raspberry coconut slice and were so great. The only thing that upset me is the unwelcoming behaviour and face of few staff there which was the most wired thing for me to see it in Merlo cafe when compare this branch with others especially this branch is in GC the city of tourism from inside Australia and globally and the welcoming face is very important.

Awesome coffee, can choose a variety of roasts either full beans or ground to you machine's specifications. Or just to get a cup, highly recommend.
