My twenty two year old daughter and I had an amazing time on Star’s tour! She is extremely attentive and knows so much about the history of the area. The tour is kept to a very accommodating group size and is easy in regards to walking ease. The restaurant and beverage selections were fabulous! This a must whether you are from around the area or visiting, thank you so much Star!

One of the best Houston experiences I’ve done. From start to finish, Star was responsive, easy to work with, knowledgeable and made the tour a lot of fun. My work team had a great time getting introduced to new spots they haven’t visited in Houston (even the locals were introduced to new places), eating lots of delicious food and learning about Houston. Star was accommodating to different dietary restrictions with yummy alternatives. I highly recommend working with Best Bites Houston for a corporate event or a fun hang out with friends.

I brought 6 couples to Houston for the rodeo. Our first night we did a strolling food tour with Best Bites Houston. The experience was definitely five star. The owner (whose name is Star) took us to three great locations. Along the way she gave us an interesting city tour. I highly recommend this experience.

This was our second good tour with Star and was every bit as memorable as the first. Her bubbly personality and love for Houston are very evident. The food on the tour was great as was the variety of drinks. Would highly recommend as a Houstonian looking to play tourist in your own city or for out of town guests looking to experience a lot in a short amount of time.

This was a really fun activity to do on our visit to Houston! My food selections were modified, as requested, for lactose intolerance, which worked great. Star was a wonderful guide and made sure everyone had an excellent experience.

Great experience! This was my first food tour and it was so custom! The food choices were wide ranging with great selections at each stop! (We visited 4 places). Star was so organized, kept us on time, and had great tidbits about the area. She’s very passionate about this tour, the food, and how much fun the group was having. We had a mix of locals and out of towners and we all had a great time. Highly recommend!

Wonderful tour and experience hosted by Star! We started at the Rustic with the best tamales I have ever had and didn't slow down with the other places we tasted. Makes us wish we lived closer to Houston. A great gift idea/experience when you have friends/family in town and or want to get to know a part of Houston better. Kudos to Star and Best Bites for making this enjoyable, informative and tasty. My family loved it and we had great companions.

I booked this food tour as a birthday gift for my wife and we absolutely loved the customer service, professional, and personlity of Star! She is a wonderful and cheerful person who truly loves what she does and loves introducing her guests to the history and culture of the diverse array of foods in the downton Houston area. Anytime that I had a questiosn prior to the tour, Star always responded back to my calls and text messages and was very helpful! The way she organizes the tour is very user friendly and the diverse restuarants that she took us to were very good and I loved hearing about the rich history of these establishments, thier cuisine, and how long these restuarants have been in Houston. My wife and I definitely want to join Star on another tour and what truly made the tour was how amazing Star was and how much she made sure that we were enjoying ourselves! A++ customer service!

THE BEST FOOD TOUR IN HOUSTON!! My wife and I had an amazing experience - Star (the CEO and guide) does a great job of coordinating with delicious restaurants. She is very professional and knowledgeable, but also makes the tour a lot of fun. This is the best thing we have done in the city

What a fabulously fun tour with Star! This was a surprise birthday weekend for my husband with the food tour & a night at the Marquis, which was perfectly located to the start & end of the tour. She was so enthusiastic about our great city of Houston and super knowledgeable about the architecture, culture & cuisine it has to offer. We were also paired with such an amazing family group, so it made our tour even that much better! The food & cocktails were delicious! Our favorites were definitely the Rustic tamales & margaritas and the Brasserie Du Parc's crepe & surprise, signature lychee cocktail for dessert. We loved it so much, we went to the Rustic's amazing brunch the next morning (peek at their website for details). We had reservations at Brasserie, but we changed our minds to the Rustic only based on our cuisine mood at the moment but will definitely be back for Brasserie in the near future!

What a fantastic experience! Star did an excellent job of sharing with us delicious food and drinks from the venues as well as interesting information about the downtown restaurant and bar scene along with some of the downtown art and architectural features. I'm looking forward to going back to some of the places we visited and exploring their menus further! I highly recommend this tour for a great night enjoying some of the many fun options in downtown Houston.
