DONT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE A DISABILITY!!! be warned. The owner Mike demanded that we tell him the health issues associated with our service dog. When I informed him we had a service dog he DAMANDED payment. When I told him he could not charge for a service dog Mike got rude and disrespectful. Mike demanded we tell him what the health issue was and what the dog performed to help. When I told him it was a service dog for health issues he demanded more in-depth information. Mike has now canceled out reservation. We stayed here in June 2021 without issue. When we CALLED and made the reservation we told them we had a service dog. That was several weeks ago. Now on 11-10-21 Mike demands payment and is so rude and disrespectful. Less than 20 minutes and Mike canceled our reservation. We have been traveling for over 15 years and have never ever had anyone talk to use like the Owner Mike did. Way to treat handicapped people Mike. We are now filing complaints with the ADA who we spoke to and they have assured us they will be looking into this. State of Florida AG, KOA Corporate, and having our attorney look into this clear violation of ADA laws. Mike, I hope you never get treated the way you treated us or make my wife feel this upset. Really hope Karma pays you a visit soon.....

From our experience as taking over as mangers we are sad to report that the owner never took any responsibility towards making improvements as we asked for them. From asking for light bulbs, septic issues, to guests complaints, we were never taken seriously and he ignored many requests for very minimal assistance. We saw potential and wish things would have been different, the park needs a lot of work and best wishes to a manager that can work with the non present owner who we dealt with for a total of maybe a few hours over our two months of working there. Hard to build a relationship that way. Donโ€™t expect much help from Amber or Julie as they are just as negligent. Unfortunate turn of events.

For 112$ for one night you would think you could have some peace and quiet? Not if Roberta is on the premises. We have a 16 foot boat we pull behind our rv. We parked it with the help of the camp man so he was aware of where we parked. The next morning at 9 am Roberta started calling for us to move the boat. We were at work so he told her we were pulling out in about a hour. As soon as our truck was back in the park she sent someone down to tell us to stop by the office before we left. To start with she should have come down to us if it was so important that the man couldnโ€™t tell us. But she was to lazy I guess. About 15 minutes later she is calling. My husband went down to the office and she said if we came back we would have to put the boat in storage ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ like we would ever come back there. It is ridiculously priced for davie Florida and then they also charge 5$ a day for each dog which makes no senseโ€ฆ itโ€™s not a hotel. You would be better off at a hotel. Itโ€™s a nice campground but Roberta ruined it. For the price they should be accommodating instead of calling them to the office like a school child. Roberta needs to go. Terrible customer service

We have been staying at KOA locations for over 30 years all over the country, and this campground was not what we expected from the website and does not represent what you would expect from a Holiday KOA. The staff we saw were nice, but the store closes at 6:00 and when we tried to contact during business hours many times no one was there. If you travel with pets they will also charge you for EACH pet. The map shows amenities that are not on site. We were told that they were planning on building those things. No fishing the pond was drained, only 1 shower room, multiple out of order laundry machines, lots of small motel rooms. We reserved a site online and we were put in another site when we arrived and charged for the site we were not given. Be aware if you make a reservation and need to change your days while there, the OWNER doesnโ€™t refund. There are also no breakers in the power boxes and the sites are very narrow and the streets are tight when maneuvering your RVs. In the pictures included one is the site we reserved and one is the site we were assigned. They only had one site like the picture and it was open our entire stay, but we were placed in a different spot and charged the amount for the other spot. When we inquired we were told that the site we reserved was actually just a pull in site and not a pull through. (like it says online) Regardless we were charged the rate for what we reserved online and not what we got. Very disappointing

I cannot recommend this place. They charged us 20 to check in 1 and 20 minutes early, even though the space was unoccupied. This was their premium site and we paid a premium price of 154 for the night. We had less outdoor furniture on our site than other smaller sites. They warn you they are under construction but it appears to have been that way for several years. I do not appreciate being charged 5 dollars per day per pet. If you are charging a premium price include everything don't nickel and dime me. Internet was non existent. My biggest disappointment was the site ran parallel to the main exit road and the entire left side of our coach was about six feet from the exiting traffic . All in all, read the other reviews and find someplace else, I assumed it could not have been as bad as other reviews stated especially since we had a premium patio site but I was wrong.

This KOA in Davie is one of the worst I've come to. You drive in and see a 50-year-old scraper, rocks piled up, and machinery everywhere - it looks like a junkyard. On top of it all, the grass looks like it is mowed every month ( so it looks horrible). Ill stop there, but it is obvious this place is a cash cow for the owners with only minimal professional maintenance (paid 80 dollars a day) for this mess. I asked to leave early, and they said no refunds - so here I am, giving money to a slum lord. The septic PVC broke in the next campsite - the smell was horrible. We tolerated it because we had to - for work, I could not leave until the weekend. So, if asked, I will give this place 1 star. If you have the opportunity pay more at a non-koa and be happy - because they most likely care about their property - where these owners do not. The staff deserve 5 stars, the owner deserve 0 stars.

Some nice RV spots but many too packed in and crowded. We were there 2 1/2 months and the owner wouldnโ€™t move us to a nicer spot, there were plenty open. The sewer was up to high so it was a real pain to dump the tanks. Run down buildings, half the washers and dryers were broken the entire time. He told me at the beginning of our stay he had a repair person coming that day, as my clothes wouldnโ€™t spin out in one of the โ€œworkingโ€ washers. He said the internet was being fixed too. Both lies. Over 2 months later, nothing had changed. The trash dumpster was overflowing often so the recycle dumpster was full of trash much of the time. Classic slum lord. And itโ€™s expensive!

didn't even bother to stay. the moment I pulled up i was met with an attitude. basically made me feel like I was not wanted there at all.. I didnt even get a chance to enter the office. as I pulled up they came outside and just stood there asking what I wanted and why i was there. I've never had someone meet me before entering an establishment and basically running me off

This was not me favorite KOA, very tight sites. I stayed for two weeks, while I visited with family and friends in fifteenth areas. The staff are very friendly and down to earth and are eager to help with anything they are able. It did appear they may have been going through some remodeling, lots of different projects going on that at the time were not being worked on. It was quiet, but not much more then a place to jam your rod into until you are ready for your next destination.

Park has many unfinished projects but overall is very nice. The manager and workampers are very pleasant and always helpful. Location canโ€™t be beat! Once everything is completed, it will be an awesome to visit. Park is safe and monitored closely besides being off the beaten path. Close to interstate 75 - shopping within a couple of miles. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay there!๐Ÿ˜€

This is our 1st time here and we have an amazing camp site. The staff is extremely kind and welcoming. There is a bit of renovation construction going on but definitely wouldnโ€™t stop us from staying here or coming back. The pool are is all new and looks great. Lots of walking trails around and close to shopping. Highly recommend and definitely will be back

Site was under water for 3 days. Asked where to go if water hit electrical because outlet was about 10 inches off the ground. Manager just looked at me and said she didn't know. Asked where we could go to ride out the rain since we don't live in the area. Again she was no help telling me to figure it out. Place is run down, no up keep at all. No WiFi. Over charge for a dump. Will never stay again.

This KOA campground is by far the worst campground we've been too!!! It's not worth paying $80 a night for. As the other reviewers mentioned it's run down and you are packed in tight!!! Based on our cramped crowded site, little amenities that actually worked and the run down down facilities, how did this become a KOA Holiday? On the upside it looks like they're either improving sites or adding sites as there was construction going on and pallets of pavers stacked up. There were a couple of sites that looked newer with the pavers, patio chair & tables, outdoor furniture. There's a nice fenced dog park area, the tent camping areas are all grass with a table & fire pit, a small playground, and the staff was very friendly.

This was our first and last time staying there. Most of the RV residents live there. The roads are not taking care of. The ponds looks horrible. No WiFi, pool was not heated. The staff was very nice. But for the money they should have a lot more activities for the kids. Plus I see this at a lot of KOA with the wifi. We are now in the 21 century wifi is a thing now.

We have been here for two months, some of the most difficult people I have ever dealt with. We were at the other Hollywood KOA last year this time, same owners same quality. One person tells us we canโ€™t ride on open areas with scooters, someone else tells us we can only ride on open areas. These people are crazy! Last year we left a great review at the other KOA in Hollywood, we thought our experience here would be different. We were wrong. So sad, this could be a great place, but itโ€™s horrible because of most of the workers. There are a couple that are great. Will not stay here again.

Rules Rules Rules This KOA is by far the worst campground I have ever been too! First when we get here we find out that they charge $20 a day to park your extra vehicle in their field. This campground is not family friendly either, it only accommodates 2 adults anything over that they charge $10 a day for each kid and $5 a day for each pet. Never have I stayed at any KOA that has charged that much. The ladies up front are absolutely rude was constantly telling my kids they couldnโ€™t do something, for example we were at the pool with the kids and they came out and told me the kids couldnโ€™t climb out of the pool because it was safety issue, Iโ€™ve never heard that in my life! They donโ€™t have cable they donโ€™t offer trash pick up and their Wi-Fi is horrible, for this to be a holiday KOA is mind blowing because they literally have nothing! The only place you have Wi-Fi is at the pool and the pool is the only amenity they have. They donโ€™t allow you to put up canopyโ€™s. They make you tie your dog up to your camper which doesnโ€™t leave for a lot of room for them. This experience has been horrible I donโ€™t recommend anyone to stay here. If I could give this place a zero rating I would.

Very accomodatng. The staff is friendly and helpful. We registered on the road and due to problems we had, arrived later than expected. We did not take the immediate right hand turn to enter the park that we should have and ended up at a dead end with rig in tow. Backing was difficult but we eventually found an expansive lawn to back into and turn around. After arriving at the campground even later due to the detour, there was insufficient signage on our site to fully identify it. We pulled into a rig staging area and fell into our bed for a much needed rest. During the daylight we noted that the park entrance is clearly visible. I recommend that signage at the entrance and for individual sites be improved to accommodate nighttime arrivals. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, even extending it another day. Keep up the good camping you provide.

We stayed at this campground for 3 nights, our stay was enjoyable. We had a concrete pad for our 36โ€™ TT. This is an older campground which is undergoing many updates. They are removing older pads and installing new concrete pads and patios. They are also replacing all the underground infrastructure for the sites. The staff was friendly and courteous. The escort to our site was phenomenal. This will be a beautiful KOA when the upgrades are completed. We look forward to staying there again.

For campers it can be very hard to control arrival time, if you for any reason get to this place early, you will be charged the whole night which is abusive, a lot of money for just few hours, reservation detailed 20 dollars charge for early arrival, but the lady in front desk consider early at 12pm, before than that you have to pay a whole day, i consider she takes advantage of customers that can't go somewhere else with the trailers . Sites are very near so will be hard to be outside without disturb your neighbor, I was only for 24 hours , did not see the whole place but seems to be clean and quiet, I did not see kids arround or any kind of music or activities, just silence. I will not be back, felt robbed.

This place is definitely not up to KOA standards. Aesthetic wise it looks more like a junkyard. Staff is also very rude. We were yelled at, not spoken to in a civilized way, that we couldnโ€™t have a temporary play pen for our dogs next to our RV. No wonder most sites were empty on a weekend.

It looks like they are attempting to fix this KOA up but if your in a larger rig and towing it's tough to access. The roads are VERY narrow and rough. The spot was a pull through which was ok when we maneuvered our way to it. When we went to leave the exit gate wasn't opened all the way so we had to again maneuvere out the entrance lane because with a tow we couldn't make it around the gate. Again, when they are done it looks like it will be really nice but for now we will steer clear. BTW Beautiful pool ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Saw a lot of reviews, and yes itโ€™s under construction but we were welcomed by all the staff very nicely. The side we were assigned was nice with a little patio. All hook ups were perfectly fine. Itโ€™s great for a night or two when you are passing through. 45 min to South Beach is for Miami not bad.

Hosts were so sweet working with our reservations. Bathroom were nicely air conditioned, a welcome feeling while camping in Fort Lauderdale in August. Cons were the many planes that flew low overhead and the sound of ATVs or Motor cycles racing around outside the camp into the night.

This place has been UNDER CONSTRUCTION for years due to the high staff turn over . It is rated a 1 for work campers . No work is truly ever completed. The owner is a slim lord and definitely has no clue how to run a KOA .. I wish KOA would pull their branding from this owner. Work and stay at your own risk.

The location is great for exploring all of southeast Florida. The staff is very friendly. The park suffers from years of wear and tear without major improvements being made. This is NOT up to par with most KOA Holiday parks. It is much more like a small quaint Mom and Pop park. Spaces are small but some are pretty nice. Laundry room has 6 dryers of which 1 was operational. Tough time if more than one person needs to clean clothes.

We have stayed here twice and would do it again. Yes they are going through some remodeling but its a very easy in and out, very friendly and in a location close to shopping, food and things to see and do. If traveling the Turnpikes...may seem a little out of the way, but well worth taking a few extra minutes to stay someplace relaxing. By pass the Hollywood KOA, so not worth it. This is the place to stay. We'll be back!

Would never use this koa again. Layndry facilities were very dirty only 1 out five washers working and only 2 out six dryers working, everything else out of service including their change machines. Showers cery dirty and the staff very unwilling to help. They said I had a patio space, stuck me on grass without furniture. Horrible horrible.

The people were friendly and nice. Pretty quiet. They're doing work currently to add sites. Unfortunately they should be putting money into improving what's already there. The wifi doesn't work well. The pond is drained and an eyesore. The laundry room has 6 washers and 5 are out of order and the 6th only has cold water. Of the 6 dryers, 4 are out of order the 5th you have to run 3 times (paying each time) to get clothes dry. The campground seems very hodge podge. There's a restaurant and game room that's currently a storage room.

This shouldn't be allowed to be called a KOA. Sites are super small and the WiFi is non-existent. Staff is disconnected and not helpful. Paid for 4 nights but last after one. Still waiting on my refund for false advertising. When I checked in they handed me a typed letter asking me not to use the sewer because they "have issues" with it backing up. This place should be investigated by KOA franchise services. I actually paid extra for a large patio full hookup site and once I pushed my slides out, I stayed inside that night.

I live right by here, and this place looks like a scene from the walking dead. And the cherry on top is their staff: who are constantly patrolling and yelling at everyone. Even when we ride our bikes on the public street or people are checking into KOA, they are rude and talk down to everyone. The place also stinks of sewage and garbage. How are they still in business?

Great staff and welcome. Great location for visiting the area. Infrastructure needs massive capital infusion, maybe fewer spots so you can safely maneuver. Staff and location are great. However our sewer and neighbors backed up up the first night after a long travel day. The sites were so tight even experienced big rig operators were pacing out their exit routes on foot looking stressed. We lucked out the vehicles parked appropriately in their spots were gone when we had to leave or we would have been trapped until they moved them. Recommend you come in daylight for a back in site if you have a big rig.

We booked one night here to start since we didn't know what our plans were going to be for the rest of our time in Florida. After a few hours of being here and exploring the 3-mile trail right behind this RV park, we decided to book for 2 more additional nights since our neighbors were quiet, the dog park was nice enough, and the 3-mile trail was great to walk our three large dogs. Everything is squeaky clean, the neighbors are pretty quiet, and the staff is friendly. We quickly realized we needed to make long terms plans sooner than later before this place got booked up even more and we did. With the help of Jan, we were able to extend our stay by 8 more days. Though it took some moving things around and a lot of time, Jan was extremely helpful and made sure this was done in a timely manner. She honored our requests and was so willing to help. Thank you, Jan, for making our stay at Davie KOA a fantastic one! I'd also like to give a shout out to Mark & Roger for being so friendly and welcoming to Koa!

Reading some of the negative reviews I have this to offer. 2020 was a very hard year for the hospitality industry including hotels, restaurants, campsites. A lot of folks lost their jobs, businesses, and homes. As my husband and I travel the state of Florida and the Eastern seaboard of this beautiful country I am amazed how ungrateful people are. This little KOA is fantastic I want to thank Mike and Thomas for all that they do. The construction that's going on is for the future of this park. May the future be bright and prosperous.

Staff were super friendly and engaging. The pool, restrooms and convenience store were very well taken care of, clean and maintained. The spot had full hookup, grill, and nice table with chairs. Laundry machines are available on site. Pet friendly location with a fenced area to play with them. I think they had trails, although we didn't get a chance to try. Not very many amenities, but it did look like some construction was underway. So who knows, it might be in the works.

Park is nice. Yes, it is going through renovations but nothing that is impeding the current sites. Yes, there is a mix of full timers and RVers, but honestly, I arrived way after hours due to my own travel time and my neighbor so gracious to help me back in to my spot at 10:30pm. Please don't judge...I definitely pushed my last leg of coming home. My site electrical post was not operational, important note to RVers, this is why you use your surge protector before connecting to your rigs. Because it was so late at night, I just pulled into an empty spot across from me and went into the office first thing in the morning to report the issue. The office responded immediately and moved me to a very nice spot. All staff worked together to make this happen. A couple suggestions but nothing that would deter me from staying here again, is yes, I agree the patio furniture on the sites should probably be thrown away. They probably left them there for outside gatherings but not worth keeping and i wouldn't sit on them, but again, nothing that would deter me from staying here again. Second, was the height of the sewer pipe. It's much higher than the ground so when you're dumping your tanks, the flow is not down but up and it was the longest dump tank process I have ever gone through, somewhat frustrating menuervering my hose. My recommendation would be to cut down the height of the pipe so the flow from your rig to the Sewer is down. But again nothing to deter me from not staying here again. The park has A LOT of potential as it has a clubhouse and great space for lots of great ideas. My recommendation is to also focus on adding to the extra space around the pool (pool bar and eatery), especially coming into season. All neighbors and staff were super nice and friendly and the park is quiet. Definitely don't judge when you arrive but know they are renovating to make it better for the RVers. Rome wasn't but in a day so cut them some slack with the process.

A gem of a find! Beautiful and serene campground among trees and a pond in the center. Yet it sits near everything Fort Lauderdale has to offer. Michael, Stephany, and Peggy are amazing managers and caretakers that go out of their way to ensure we have a pleasant stay and that everything is in top shape. The campground is expanding greatly, so this campground will only get better and better. Highly recommend it!

Very nice managers. They let me know that they were under renovation so the WiFi and Pool were unavailable. They offered me a chance to go somewhere else. So, currently the place needs a little work, but by winter of 2022 it should a great place.

First & foremost, Denice and Bill are exceptional! Hard working individuals that ensure you have everything you need. Guest service is amazing. When we booked our 9 day stay, we were escaping the KOA in Hollywood (posted a review on that one too). To all the reviews noting the construction, there are alert's duly noted on the app and Denice made it very clear that there was construction going on. Wouldn't even take a full payment until we had a chance to check it all out for ourselves. All the negative comments about the debris and such are simple permanent reminders of a temporary situation. For us, we have the BEST site, and it is SO quiet. Everyone here has been friendly and it's exactly what we expect out of a KOA campground. When all construction is done, this place will be awesome. For now, it's very nice, operated by all of two amazing people. Owner needs to step up and take care of them, as well as get folks moving on getting this place finished. We love it, and we'll stay here again for sure. Thanks to Denice and Bill for making our stay very enjoyable. Y'all are awesome!

We have been Rving for 10+ years and this was, by far, the best site we have ever had! Close to everything, but because of the angle of it, we felt in our own little campground. The little extras at each site is a huge plus! Would have been 5 stars, BUT the bathrooms that we used were not ACd. It was miserably hot in the stalls. If they had AC, it wasn't on. There is a ton of upgrades and construction going on, but still a very nice visit.

Very nice RV park! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, made us feel right at home. Our assigned lot was a spacious pull through with dull hookups and patio furniture, fire pit and BBQ! Quiet place, with pleasant RVers!

Pat, Mike, and the entire staff did a great job. Very friendly environment. Even the gardners were polite. We recommend this park. Good location to a a big park with bicycle trails, jogging, exercise area, and fishing. The facility is older but Pat is working hard to update and expand. Close to shopping but nice quiet park.

This KOA is rundown so look at review photos to get a true picture so you know what you are booking. Most sites are tight. It looks like most are full timers. Location is ok. Didnt feel 100% safe. Not all amenities that are listed in website are available. Security gate does not work. Would not stay here again. Watch video on tiktok @campaholicsclub
