If you decide to eat Chinese food, spend your money in a place where authentic food is served. Gold Marquess is the only place I have tried that serves good quality Dim Sum, we enjoyed all the food we ordered, as usual we all shared to have a taste of different plates at the same time, we also ordered Fried Wonton, it was wrapped in phyllo dough giving it a perfect crisp, Bbq Pork Buns were also good, for the main course we had the Kung Pao Shrimp which was delicious, great flavor and the vegetables were perfect, the Fried Noodles and Vegetables with brown sauce, it comes with white sauce but we prefer brown, they don’t have an issue with changing it, this was also really good. At the moment they are going through a remodel, half the place is closed so make sure you call ahead, it gets packed really quickly. Recommending.

This restaurant is closed!!! Beware of the "to-go only option." I called Golden Marquees, and whoever took the call stated the orders are TO-GO only at the moment. They ask you for payment in advance! What happens is that a shady Chinese restaurant located nearby takes the orders, but they don't bother to clarify they are not GM but instead a greasy spoon. (They may be the same owners but I cannot tell) In my mind I ordered at GM, so I drove to pick up at the former Golden Marquess location. On arrival, the parking lot is gated by wire mesh, and it signals the place will be torn down or undergo a massive renovation. I called the GM number listed on Google, and with a bullish attitude, they clarified they were located elsewhere. I assumed they were dispatching from a pop-up kitchen until the location reopened again We drove a few blocks away from GM (the food was paid for already) and picked up the order under heavy rain, not understanding what was happening until we opened the food at home. Disgusting is an understatement to explain how horrible the food is. GM closed, and it's a shame. It would have been decent to hang a sign outside saying goodbye to customers. This practice is deceiving the public and taking advantage of GM's loyal customers by taking orders while pretending they are still GM. Google Maps still pins to the former GM. I cannot stress enough that they give you terrible food. Golden Marquess is no longer there. I'll find a new Chinese place, but I hope nobody else has to spend money and time with these disappointing pirates! Stay safe!

We love the dim sum here, they are delicious, ambiance is really nice, it’s a legit Chinese experience. Also, affordable and they even give you complementary tee. Recommendation. Soup Dumplings (Shanghai) sesame ball, and the crispy shrimp ball

The good: food was very tasty. The place is clean and spacious. The Bad: service is terrible. I can’t emphasize this enough. Be prepared to wait wait wait. The place was half empty. Since we waited so long I was able to witness the chaos of the wait staff. No organization at all. The food is not worth the wait or the price. We won’t be coming back. If the owner or manager is reading this please fix your wait staff... assign tables to waiters instead of having waiters floating all over the place looking for stuff to do. There is better Chinese/Asian cuisine in Pembroke Pines than this place.

After being a loyal customer to Gold Marquess for many years, this place will never receive my money ever again. I ordered food and went to the location and they weren’t there. The building was under construction and i was instructed to go to a place called “YIP”. When i got there the place didn’t reflect a restaurant space whatsoever. Since i felt a bit uncomfortable i requested a refund with the gentleman i ordered with and he processed it and gave me a receipt. I have yet to receive my funds back so i called the restaurant and spoke to the manager. (As instructed by my bank) When i tried to explain the situation to the manager she denied the refund and cut me off while speaking. Her service overall was absolutely TERRIBLE. When i asked for her name she decided to hang up on me and even took the time to block my number. As a business owner i find that blocking a customer is an extremely disrespectful choice without any sort of conversation. All of this over $50+ and i never even received any food. I’m not sure what happened to this place but don’t waste your time with the food, service, or even going.

Overall, authentic great Chinese dim sum. However, they are severely understaffed. We were only able to get two dishes since the carts aren’t being pushed to our side at all.

This first time trying there dinner. Always went for the dim sum. The dinner menu is great. Wasn’t that business for a Saturday night, so service was quick and fast. FYI dim sum is very busy, you will need to know some tricks.

I would really hate to work there had one person working the tables, cash register, sitting in the guest, cleaning up the table And bring out the food. Felt sorry for the person. Gave him a decent tip for it wasn't his fault The management or owner of this place treats them employ pretty badly. I didn't find a food that impressive for me to go back as well

My favorite place for dim sum in South FL!! The interior is clean and nicely decorated as well. They serve the dim sum on carts, so it makes selection easy and the food is always delicious! Super popular on weekends, so be ready for a slight wait. They don't take reservations when they get super busy.

A couple of years ago my mom said she wanted to do something different for Christmas and said she felt like Peking duck. I looked up best Peking duck in South Florida and came across Gold Marquess. The duck along with with the other dishes I ordered were delicious. Also the interior of this restaurant was beautiful. So I knew I wanted to go back and try their dim sum. Being a New York native, I spent many Chinese New Years in Chinatown eating dim sum. So I was excited to continue this tradition at Gold Marquess. Especially since they would be bringing the food out the traditional way with push carts. However also traditionally the ladies pushing the carts didn't speak much English and couldn't always explain or confirm the various dishes. I ended up resorting to ordering from the menu because it was in English and I could mark exactly what I wanted. The quality of the food was very good. My only complaint is that the food from the dim sum carts just didn't seem that hot. Maybe they cooked it earlier to prepare for the day but with the exception of the food I ordered off the menu, everything tasted lukewarm. I wanted to love this place so much and would try it again for dinner since I know their Chinese food is good. But think next time I want dim sum I will try another restaurant such as China Pavilion which in my opinion has better dim sum.

Had eaten at GM several times and food has been stellar. However, ordered delivery and everything was a hot mess, fried rice was just chicken/rice/soy sauce, ribs were super small and clearly dry/over cooked. Honestly super disappointed as it is my go to chinese food place

Pekín Duck was AMAZING! We had the dumpling sampler and that was delicious. Can’t wait to come back.

When you walk in they are very nice and very covid safe. The staff is the nicest we've had at a dim sum restaurant here in Florida so far. The restaurant is easy to find with lots of parking. The restaurant was very clean and tables are a good distance. I have to say again the staff was very nice from the time we arrived until we left. The food is one of the best Dim Sum places we've had here. We have had many dim sum food experiences at many different states and this one is on the top of our list. They are nice, clean and super friendly thank you for making our birthdays special.

This was my first time ordering. Called in for a pick up order because they only deliver through 3rd party delivery vendors. When I got there I paid for my food assuming they included everything in the bag because the bag was stapled and the receipt was attached on the bag. Drove home, opened the bag and saw they didn’t include my shrimp dumplings. The food quality itself was mediocre and some of the items were not spicy as I ordered it. I don’t think I’ll be returning..

We had an amazing experience at Gold Marquess. Francis and Karina were of excellent service! Kudos to them. I definitely recommend the Shanghai Dumplings and Shrimp-Chive Dumplings. They were delicious! We'll definitely be coming here again!

I've been ordering food to go from here for years. Their food is AMAZING. But to dine in is another story. This was my 1st time dining in and I was so disappointed. Im a server of 10 years, manager of 2 years for hospitality. It was unacceptable in my opinion. I was overwhelmed with the staff seconds into walking in. We felt super rushed. We also ordered margaritas and received shots. The experience with the concept they offer could be so much better.

One of the best and most consistent venues for authentic Cantonese cuisine. There is dim sim here. On the weekends they push the cart around. During the the weekdays when it's slower they have the order card. Folks new to dim sum. Order the shrimp dumplings and baked BBQ bun. Skip dessert. It is not overtly sweet. Soup dumplings are good and so are shrimp balls. This is still a newer find for me. I have been here a good handful of times over several years. The food always is good quality and good portion. Almost everything is family style. You can order dishes off the menu if you want more than dim sum. I definitely recommend ordering hot tea to consume with the meal. It aids is digestion of a big and hearty meal. Weekends can definitely be busy. As always good things take time. Have some patience, something to think about or talk consecutively to your group. Come hungry and enjoy!
