The hotel room was simple but very clean. The beds were super comfortable, and sheets and towels were extremely clean, too. The housekeeping did an excellent job! Ah! I can't forget to mention that the location is really good. Besides all that, the best part of our stay was being greeted and checked in by Nina. She was so sweet and helpful. She made us feel welcomed and at home and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a lovely stay, and Nina definitely played a great role in our good experience.

Decent location & staff was friendly. That being said, the rooms have ZERO noise control. You can hear literally everything including the loud, broken down elevator slamming shut. Speaking of the elevator, avoid using if you can. I’m not exaggerating when I say broken down. People got stuck in it & it feels like you’ll get stuck every time. For one night before our cruise, it wasn’t too horrible but I definitely would not recommend more than that. At least the room was clean.

This is a great place to stay. I am a frequent visitor as I have family in the area and prefer to grab a hotel instead of their place. Very safe area, convenient grocery stores, clothing, whatever you are looking for all around. It is very clean and always smell so good in the lobby. The staff is professional and pleasant. I had one issue with a room one time out of the many times I have visited and the issue was handled immediately. It is Always a quiet, safe, and relaxing stay. I highly recommend!

Stayed here while getting eye procedure at Bascam Palmer Eye Institute, and walked the short distance between them. Clean room and nice little pool and garden area. Breakfast was fine and convenient.

When I first arrived the front desk staff could not find my reservation. I accidentally booked the wrong dates. They were able to cancel that reservation and get me in a room for that night without hesitation. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. I was only there for one night but I’ll definitely book this hotel if I’m ever in the area again. 10/10

Just got back from a 2 night stay there and they do what they can to fix any problems. My finance went into the Jacuzzi, the water treatment was way off, and caused about a foot of her hair to turn a very dark green, as if coloring was put in the water. The manager not only closed down the Jacuzzi to get it serviced but refunded over $200 so that she could get her hair professionally fixed. They went above and beyond without even an argument and sincerely apologized for something that may or may not have been their fault. I have stayed there many times before, but now they will be the only place I stay when traveling to the area. They have made a lifelong customer. I highly recommend them. Their security is actively watching the parking lot at night, even though it is not a bad area. Their prices are lower than other La Quinta's just 2 blocks away. Their staff are very happy and go above and beyond to help you. They will make your trip great and, if anything happens, will fix it immediately without question. 10 stars.

First room they gave us was completely torn apart and under renovation. Second room was ok. Bathroom floor was very dirty (had hairs all over it) and there were roaches in the drawers. Walking down the halls you can tell the hotel is 420 friendly. Breakfast was sufficient and had quite a few choices to pick from. Overall, this is not a place I would stay again.

The front desk staff in the EVENING was great! We needed more pillows and towels, no questions asked. The elevator ride up to the 2nd floor was a bit scary. Highly recommend taking the stairs if at all possible! Scary enough that they pit an put of order sign on it the next morning. We got there a little before check-in, and they said, "The room wasn't ready yet." We waited in the lobby with four kids for an hour and a half because they would not let anyone check in early.

The rooms are really old. We were in suite on the 3rd floor and the windows in every room were dirty (on the outside) with scum and algae. They desperately need to pressure wash. Overall the rooms were clean but breakfast was blah. They had a lot of elevator work going on as well, which was irritating. I’m really glad we stayed just 1 night but considering we were in town for the tool concert, the room was relatively cheap, but I’m being honest, I should have just paid $30 more for a suite at the Marriott where you don’t get free breakfast… oh well, lesson learned. Overall, it was close enough to hard rock and most of our time was spent out of the hotel. I wouldn’t book it for a leisurely vacation week.

My husband was there over this past weekend. While they were out hunting and fishing Saturday, the managent had their room cleared out and all my husband's stuff was gone. The party that he was with had a total of 7 rooms! Why would one room check out! My husband's stuff was stolen! He was able to get his backpack back, but his favorite Levi's are GONE! Don't stay here, they have criminals cleaning the rooms!! He stated the shower sucked too!

Very well located. Most of the staff very, very friendly. Rooms are quite and very confortable and most important quite clean. Internet works properly at any area at the hotel. Coffee available 24 hours at the reception. Quite decent swinming pool for relaxing after a busy day with a massage pool that works perfectly. Would recommed this hotel for anyone at Plantation / Fort Laudardale area. Either on business or leisure.

This is an old property and not especially well maintained. We chose this location due to its proximity to Amerant Bank Arena and they take dogs. To start with, the grass hadn't been cut, and my dogs don't like that. The front desk clerk was vague about the best place to take them for potty breaks. We had 2 rooms; the key had to be re-programmed twice for one of the rooms! The shower drain didn't work in one room; the sink was slow in the other. There were no knives at breakfast. The explanation? New management!

Decent hotel with above average accommodations. Great pool/hot tub that was nice to dip into. Comfortable bed and nice rooms overall. Staff was pretty much perfect but none the less, always got the job done. Breakfast is decent, overall, great for our trip

Older but still kept up hotel. My stay was just fine. However, I did witness a little frustration by others. The person at the desk stayed busy constantly, maybe a little overwhelmed at times, but did a good job. Price was one of the best in the area, and the place was hopping busy. They serve breakfast, and the eating area works ok for some computer work during the day. I did not check out the fitness area or pool, so I can't comment on them.

I am a local. I had to stay here because work was being done in my house. Great location because walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Very pet friendly. I had to bring my two cats and booked a suite. I appreciated being on the first floor. For dog owners, especially nice back area to walk dogs. Only complaints, not much hot water during peak hours PM and morning. Outside windows dirty.

I never stayed here, but I had just made a reservation for 12/28-01/2 ,then I went and read all the views and saw one review where there was a bug in the bed In which is a bedbug to the person that say I woke up with a bug in the bed with me. I immediately cancelled my reservation. Thank you for your review

This place is dirty and old. They put new carpet in the hallways and thats it. My room has blood spots on several walls. The carpet in the room has stains all over. The lino in the bathroom is from the 80's. I happened to look behind the night stand as i saw a bug an it was disgusting and dirty. I had paid for 6 nights through Expedia. Thank God I got refunded for 5 /6 days. I couldn't stay here for another moment. The walls are super thin..I could go on and on. I drove from western Canada to Florida and stayed at Laquinta throughout 7 different states and cities and they were all fantastic so that is why i choose Laquinta but this location is gross.Dont stay here

Many things to say here. 1. The rooms smell awful. 2. The AC in the building didn't work. 3. There were blood stains all over the carpet. 4. The shower still had clumps of someone else's hair in and around the entire tub. 5. The TV didn't work. Just an overall awful experience.

Just one night to catch an early morning flight. Close to airport. Has a lot of long term residents per the desk clerk. Room was okay. Clean, but needed update and mainanence. Breakfast was awful. Should have skipped it.

This hotel has changed a lot for the worse. We stayed here a few years ago & it was great. This time it was scuzzy. One of the elevators is out of service - has been for months. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. The hallways all smell like weed & a lot of the clientele seem like they're on something else. The fire alarm went off twice while we were there. This went from a family friendly/corporate hotel to a place I never want to stay again.

It's an inn. The best part were the employees, especially Nick (not sure what his full name was). He made sure I had everything I needed to have a great visit. Has a large eating area near the main entrance and plenty of parking spots. Located near shopping areas and restaurants. If you get a good deal or NEED a temporary place to stay, this might be a decent place to spend the night- but I wouldn't recommend it for longer stays or vacations. It wasn't horrible, it just left a lot to be desired - even if it is "just a La Quinta Inn." Pros: •TV, AC, other stuff worked •Large bathroom •Big bed and desk located in the room •Very quiet at night •Employees are helpful and on-site through the night Cons: •The first elevator was broken, the second one hasn't been inspected in 2 years!! •Bugs in the hallway and in the rooms

Roaches. Roaches on the dresser and in the TV. No communication within the staff. One lady switched us rooms several times because we were supposed to have double beds. None of the rooms had double beds and I guess they couldn't tell before they sent us all over the hotel and when we finally found one that had atleast a pullout couch they had already gave it to someone else and we walked in on them after going to get our bags from the other room. After we had already checked this room to see if it was good, a matter of maybe 10 min. No communication at all. We left and went to the Marriott.
