I
wanna
start
with
the
positives
and
say
the
food
was
flavorful,
the
pesto
sandwich
I
ordered
was
delectable,
the
bread
was
toasted
well
enough,
and
it
was
a
pretty
sizable
meal.
The
service
was
decent,
and
the
staff
was
polite
and
patient.
However,
the
overall
cafe
felt
overstimulating,
with
the
loud
music
and
darker
atmosphere.
I
enjoy
a
dark
restaurant
but
I
wished
the
cafe
was
a
little
lighter.
The
real
issue
with
Ella
Cafe
was
their
visual
menu.
The
visual
menu
was
one
of
those
ideas
that
sound
good
on
paper
but
in
practice
it
falls
apart.
I
think
it
would’ve
saved
the
time
spent
ordering
and
the
confusion
I
felt
had
they
labeled
their
items
so
that
you
know
what
you’re
getting.
The
food
on
charcuterie
board
was
another
idea
that
was
good
one,
but
again
was
unnecessary.
But
I
think
the
overall
experience
could’ve
been
better
had
they
not
overpriced
their
meals,
but
more
importantly
labeled
the
menu
and
tone
down
the
overwhelming
environment.
But
that’s
just
my
experience.
