This
was
a
huge
surprise.
To
find
excellent
French
cuisine
in
a
place
off
the
main
road,
on
top
of
a
mountain,
away
from
any
villages
was
a
great
pleasure.
To
see
the
building
with
an
open
covered
patio,
one
would
have
no
idea
of
what
is
to
come,
or
served.
We
ordered
the
soup
which
was
a
pureed
pea
soup
with
goat
cheese.
One
taste
and
you
knew
this
dish
should
be
served
in
a
five
star
restaurant.
After
that
experience,
I
completely
changed
my
mind
on
what
to
order.
My
appetizer
was
Escargot
in
shell
with
a
fresh
made
garlic
butter
served
on
a
bowl
of
large
sea
salt.
They
brought
out
fresh
bread
with
a
creamed
potato
butter.
The
main
course
was
Fruits
de
mer.
This
was
spectacular,
both
in
vision
and
taste.
It
was
cooked
perfectly
and
the
portions
were
big.
The
fish
was
done
correctly
and
the
shellfish
trio
of
shrimp,
scampi
and
mussels
were
large
and
cooked
perfectly.
The
Bouillabaisse
is
a
food
group
unto
itself.
The
best
French
meal
I
have
ever
eaten.
Yes,
it's
off
the
beaten
path,
but
I
know
that
we
will
return
again
and
again.
The
highlight
was
when
the
chef,
Ian,
greeted
us
after
the
meal.
This
man
is
a
culinary
genius.
