Visited Oliver's Pantry for lunch at the weekend after a visit to the Cathedral. The cafe was busy, but we managed to grab a table. The staff were really friendly and attentive, the standard of service was excellent even though they were rushed off their feet looking after a house full of customers! We ordered the Harissa & Mint Chicken Kebab and a Chicken Club Sandwich along with coffee. Coffee was great and the food was absolutely delicious. The kebab was particularly good, really fresh, healthy ingredients and well presented. Would visit again next time we're in Ripon and will definitely recommend to family and friends 👍

When the rain came down and I was looking to find the nearest coffee shop for warmth and shelter, Google Maps came up trumps. It recommended this delightful little, hole-in-the-wall Café. The owner is one of many friendly servers and the meringues are (nearly) overwhelming. If I’m ever back in Ripon I would come here again. Delightful.

My mother loves this place so it pains me to leave a bad review. However, I have really never had a completely satisfactory experience here and I feel they really need to up their game. I live in the Ripon area so I’ve been here a few times. But I’ll describe my experience today: The service was hasty and rushed despite it being a relatively quite Thursday, this felt unfriendly and unprofessional. They didn’t make small talk or eye contact and when we asked for water, it was served in the manner of a man coming to our table announcing “water” and slamming it on the table in front of us. The cutlery was also sort of tossed before us. I ordered a can of Cawston press which arrived warm and accompanied by a glass of ice that was also warm and half melted (a quarter of the glass contained warm ice water). For my meal I ordered a BLT (picture attached) with a side of fries. I’ve got to say they really butchered that BLT. It was dry, the bread was cheap and it just lacked anything that would have made it enjoyable. For a 5 pound sandwich (fries weren’t included) they just should have done better. This is the same for most of the food, I feel it all could use a little more thought and effort. If you’re in the area Oliver’s pantry is worth the visit as it has a pleasant atmosphere and quirky decor. However, I wouldn’t suggest ordering a main, instead, simply order the brownie ice cream sundae.

After walking around the square in Ripon we came across Oliver’s Pantry. Inside there is a small counter and the seating area spreading backwards into a small courtyard. There is also seating upstairs. The cafe was busy but we got seats outside. It was not the best of weather and as our seat had no cover we were very quickly moved to another table. We only had cake but the quality of the food was lovely. The selection of teas and coffee was very good and the whole experience was lovely. Very good pleasant and friendly staff. Next time in Ripon will be calling in again.

What an amazing little place! My friend and I popped in for lunch with the dogs and the staff were so welcoming. The vegan menu was amazing and the food was INCREDIBLE. 12/10!! We will be back.

Came highly recommended, party of four, given some great seats outside on a lovely day, we ordered, and we weren't disappointed. Food was first class, freshly prepared, and well presented. Waiting staff we're great and not overbearing. Would recommended their homemade soup of the day. Not expensive by any mark, but worth every penny. A jewel in the crown for Ripon.

Had a wonderful cooked breakfast with some really good quality ingredients and a very well made coffee. Our woof had a bit of sausage and was made a fuss over regularly by the staff. Certainly would recommend visiting if you are a dog person, but maybe not for you if you're not freindly4legged type of person. The cakes looked wonderful but we didn't sample them after being full of the big breakfast.

Had an amazing lunch at Oliver’s Pantry today! We took our Rottweiler and the staff were smitten and so friendly with him & us. The waitress who has a staffy and the man who also has dogs and fed Rufus his sausages (which he loved 🤣) were both lovely and super understanding and are assets to Oliver P’s team. The lady with the staffy also took Rufus into the outside area for a wander around so we could eat our food as he got a little stressed. The pancakes were delish and so was the minted chicken kebab, we are on our holidays otherwise we would be regulars! Couldn’t recommend enough and super dog friendly (even for a 50kg Rottweiler🥰) thank you!

Absolutely top class full English breakfast. Service with a smile just doesn't cover it, the staff were friendly and professional. In fact I would say they went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our visit. Highly recommended.

Lovely lunch -had the Christmas feta pie-it was delicious with a lovely slaw and carrot salad. Lovely and fresh just what I needed after Christmas excess. Very welcoming place, quick to be seated, quick to be served and a doggie menu. Puppy was very happy with his ‘just a banger’ dish .

Smoked salmon and prawn salad was fine, nothing special. The feta pie was delicious and the accompanying carrot salad and coleslaw were good too. We liked the atmosphere and interesting decor. Lovely to see a big jug of fresh flowers on the landing.

We visited Oliver's Pantry on a busy Sunday afternoon. Dogs are allowed downstairs and there's a second dining space upstairs. The staff were very friendly and attentive despite being busy. The menu is varied with some unusual dishes like filo feta parcels and some Persian dishes on the specials menu. Food was so tasty and reasonably priced. Highly recommended

Oliver's Pantry was an excellent family friendly cafe with great food and at reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend it if you fancy a quick coffee and a cake or if you want to go somewhere for lunch with family and friends. There was a good selection of all-day breakfasts from porridge, pancakes and cooked breakfasts, to name a few.

What a great place to get a proper Yorkshire brew! Nostalgic, lots of fab memorabilia, our 6 meals of different choices were tasty, wholesome and quality local produce. I'd highly recommend this busy place, for dining in or takeout. Dog friendly too, and disability accessible.

Three of us went here during our trip to Ripon and had an amazing experience. ✔️ Friendly, respectful & welcoming staff ✔️ Nice and cosy & clean atmosphere ✔️ Lovely selection of food, desserts, brownies and all of them are reasonably priced and decent quantities. All of those were very tasty. If you are around Ripon, you must pay a visit to this lovely Oliver's pantry. Thank you.

Great food. Breakfast all day and some fun sandwiches and soups as well. Some very tasty desserts in the front counter that you won't be able to resist as you finish your meal. We tried pancakes, chorizo, curry, and chicken salad. All yummy but rather small portions. The brownies claimed to be the world's best come out and they were pretty tasty, as was the carrot cake. The interior and feel of the place was just great.

Had a gorgeous coffee and scone here today. Had such a warm welcome as soon as we walked through the door! What a lovely little find :) We will definitely visit again when we are over this way!

The English breakfast was delicious, fresh produce and cooked to perfection. The breakfast tea came in a heavy metal teapot and was leaves instead of a bag. Our first time but not the last!

This is a great coffee shop. When you enter you are greeted immediately by a very friendly member of staff who takes you to a table. There is plenty of space between the tables so you're not sat on top of each other. The menu is varied and the coffee delicious. We had a couple of scones that were huge, and very tasty.
