Honestly do not think I have received such terrible service from a Checkers before. There were three or four tellers. The rest of the staff were standing around chatting. There were stock trollies laying around everywhere without packers unpacking. This is all going on while the lines have at least ten people in each. Finally get to the till and she has got such an attitude. Will be keeping well away from this Checkers.

WORST CHECKERS EVER! The food will make you sick, If they made the food there, DO NOT purchase it. Worst attitudes from the staff too. No one at the bread counter to help EVER, no one at the cold meats section to help EVER. A complete JOKE of a grocery store. Will spread this far and wide.

Extremely unpleasant shopping experience and would give 0 stars if I could. This store has an average selection but is frequently out of stock. The staff always look like their lunch break was interrupted by their actual jobs. The brand is also obnoxious about its loyalty card system. As a consumer that is tired of every store demanding that you subscribe to their loyalty card system, I'm extremely annoyed that their weekly and monthly specials are reserved for card members... Quite honestly, it I wanted free email and SMS spam, there are other places to get it than yet another silly loyalty card.

(Kyalami corner Checkers)...Absolutely disappointing to say the least... I sent my sister to buy me salad, she was on the phone with me the whole time. She could not see the salad dressing so she asked one of the ladies if there is salad dressing which she responded by saying NO. So my sister asked her what must now happened, the lady simply responded that she has just came back and she does not know if they bought it. So my sister asked her to go check, she went to check then came back laughing saying that they did not buy it and they will not buy it again because they done buying it and that we must choose something else to eat. very rude at that. It's not the first time encountering bad service from the staff so its about time we say something about it...

Very poor customer customer or response or anything in general. However I have picked this up across most checkers shops, they don’t care about customers or he perception of their customers

I love checkers in general but this one is terrible when it comes to space planning or planning in general, just a few people can make the little space seems crowded and when you battle your way to the till you have to wait in the aisle witch does not help the situation... i recommend to go to Woolworth across the mall....

It is with great regret that I write this review. Yesterday was my first experience at the Kyalami Corner Checkers where my mum and I were treated very unprofessionally. I must first say that the branch manager, Daniel, was super friendly, polite and helpful. However the 'supervisor' whom attended to my query and teller Sonti were very rude. The person packing my mums groceries even ignored her when my mum asked for an item that was left on the next tellers station. We may have 11 official languages but we ALL don't speak it and therefore when a customer is querying something , it would be polite if the staff would respond in English instead of being ignored and only communicating amongst themselves in vernacular. As there was an issue with the price, perhaps make sure that the staff packing the shelves , pack the correct items with the correct price indicating below. I don't think that it is NOT a consumers job to check codes with price tags when shopping. If the wrong price is indicated then that is misleading the customer as the correct price, which was much higher, is then reflected at the till. I must say that we have never been treated so poorly at this store before, and nobody even apologized. Checkers moto is BETTER and BETTER, well I do hope that the communication skills and manners of the staff at Kyalami Corner Checkers gets better.

Shopped there yesterday for the first time. Bad floor design, but the main issue was the amount of shelf stocking going on, boxes and packers in every aisle. Not at all concerned for shoppers. Surely this should be done before store opening. Will go back to our favorite, Fourways Mall

The service was very poor.I had to pack all of my grocery in plastic while packers and cashiers were there doing nothing instead they wer busy chatting it was very rude of them to stand nd look at me doing their Job.

Clean and well stocked. Sometimes too few cashiers. Have bought off yougurt more than once there. Check expiry dates as I've found dairy products on the shelf past expiry.

Too crowded. Store does not really have a space. Not airy enough for me. Liquor outlet too crowded no space to move. Staff doesn't know anything with regards to their merchandise

Their sixty minute delivery service has removed the tediousness of needing to drive out for minor items. Their fruit and veg are good quality. Too bad that their pricing is now pretty much the same as Wollies Food.

The shop is always so busy with the Sixty 60 shoppers that it is difficult to access the aisles to do your shopping. There are always long queues at the tolls.

Good deals for everyday groceries and freshly baked breads with a large selection.. a serious upgrade to the types of checkers I've previously been too

A very nice Checkers. Big store with almost everything one could want in terms of every day shopping. Handy entrance so one does not have to walk miles to get there.

Very helpful personnel. I'm oftentimes lost and cannot find things but there's always someone to help. I love their BIO stand and especially the Collagen in the big jars!

Best supermarket in the Kyalami area - good levels of stock, and lots of variety, coupled with knowledgeable staff and a good location make for a great shopping experience.

Very beautiful store. I think it is one of the Checkers which shows the Checkers look and what they want to be as a brand. I have always found great fresh and pre-cooked food here of top quality. The staff is helpful and efficient. Great store all in all.

Decent store. However, staff did not assist when weighing vegetables and there was no one at the deli. Service is mediocre at best.

This is my Go To grocery store 99.9% of the time. It used to be for convenience, but since moving it's more because I just love the layout and quality vs cost. Nothing beats Woolworths quality, but these guys sure come close!

Checkers bakery trying to kill their customers by selling meat pies that have been sitting in the warming oven so long... the filling has dried up. Last I checked a beef and onion pie is saucy.. not dried up resembling biltong between sheets of old pastry.. this is unacceptable!!

A very noisy shop to shop in. The staff make a lot of noise and hang around chatting at the top of their lungs. On top of that the music is so loud that the people working in the bakery could not hear what the customers were saying. I could not get out of the shop fast enough. I have complained about the rude staff before and nothing has been done.

My review is for the Checkers Customer Care system Absolute pleasure. I was looking for some appliances exclusive to Checkers. I had been to two shops and did not find them so I decided to call and see if they could check stock and let me know. They did! And called me back to let me know the closest Checkers (Kyalami) I could go to. Real lekker service. I am impressed.
