How it has taken me this long to visit the Soweto Theatre, I will never know. It is a gorgeous, gorgeous space. The production I saw there was deeply moving too. I hope to have many more soul enriching experiences at the Soweto Theatre in the future

If there ever was a building that could speak, the Soweto Theatre would speak loudly, and in many languages. The theatre consists of three large colourful boxes – in red, yellow and blue – contained within two soaring concave buttress walls on either side. The foyer faces south through an expansive glass frontage, overlooking the vastness of Soweto. The entrance is finished with a huge canvas roof, complementing the curves of the buttress walls.

Had a wonderful day during #Paths to democracy conference. Listen to different views on democracy, and the African Child made it clear that it is not yet uhuru. Beautiful performances all the way. The navigating performance by RHAC's Khosi the Musical cast gave the visitors a wow effect as they walked to different performances.

Was there for the jazz festival. Didn't stay long due to live performances were on the main stage & not sun protection. Then when you are at the VIP section. The sound is delayed or video feed hangs.

Clean environment. Mostly impressed by the restroom which smelled clean and fresh for over 10 hrs whilst I was there attending an event. Housekeepers were visible and constantly picking up disposals to keep the place tidy

I love going there! But the organizers are always a flop, cause every event these neva a variety of food to accommodate all of us and the booze is very expensive. As for the advertising department I give up!! I always here abt the events by default or last minute.

Soweto Theatre is I like a family Tradition for New Years. Each year is exciting and the beginning of this year did not disappoint. There was great music, amazing hosts and the food nibbles were so filling, it's like they knew exactly what I needed considering I was drinking. And when tipsy and hungry. You need something that hits the spot. The food catered to that and indeed it hit the spot. The Theatre is also really lovely to look at with some much history also being located in an area with so much South African history. It's a well thought out Theatre, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Each year it gets better and better.

Enjoyed a live DVD recording show but a great South African musical legend. The service at the theater box office and bars was excellent. The indoor and outdoor seating areas are clean and comfortable.

The security and police presence at this venue truly gives you a peace of mind that your vehicle and self will be protected upon your visit. I was there for the Soweto in colours countdown and to say I had fun is an understatement. Truly enjoyed myself!!!

The place is very nice, and if there ever was building that could speak, the Soweto Theatre would speak loudly, and in many languages. It consists of 3 large colorful boxes - red, yellow and blue. It has different textures; different materials; different angles and different shapes, but all talks to one another in harmony in a building that makes a bold statement in Jabulani Soweto, a suburb that is undergoing a lifts off.....
