    Oman the useless area manager should be fired and left without electricity. There is no point in this branch existing, as there is no service coming from it! If I could give it 0 stars, I would.

    Really really poor service. Power issues dont get attention. Yesterday we were out of power for 20 hours in Ruimsig. Its not that the issues are complicated. City Power take hours to even come.out. Surely the leadership should do something. Is there any leadership at City Power?

    Terrible service. Certainly NOT a world class city. Jack your service up. Have been complaining the my Smartmeter is not working and needs to be upgraded. No actual meter reading since June 2019 - 18months ago. They do not respond to emails . Nothing gets done.

    A guy called Joe came to ''install'' our prepaid meter after waiting 3months since payment. He left and said we should wait 30min for registration to happen before we can buy electricity. It has been 3 hours now and we are still not able to buy electricity and no one can help us. Joe does not answer his phone. #powerless

    By no means necessary was this response from your staff acceptable, why should we tolerate this when one is looking for answers, the dark mode image was a screenshot I took cause when this was sent to me I thought it was a joke, or should we as the community cry a river?

    Terrible service , calling the area managers is useless too because no one picks the call ,instead you will be redirected,you don’t even deserve the 1 start you got from me you deserve a 0 star .I have been trying to reach out since 26th. This is a very disappointing service .you need to be reported for such poor service.How can one be calling a line everyday with no assistance. It’s very annoying!!

    Ansolutely shocking service from City Power. We're in Willowbrook (Ruimsig area) Roodepoort. 3 Complexes have not got power due to theft in the early hrs of this morning out of the local little substation box on the pavement.. It is now 19h07 at night and not a single van from the technical dept has been around to come look at the problem.. Countless calls were made to the landline no, to no avail.

    We reported our prepaid metre problem and within 3 hours a technician came through, his name was Floyd, and he had us up and running within half an hour. Excellent service, thank you very much!

    Absolutely shocking service. The worst of it, is that you can do NOTHING about it. Noone to escalate to and you are just at their mercy for when they decide to get to it. Ps. 0 stars as well, if possible

    Day 2 without electricity at 6 Sadie road due to vandalized station which only affects our complex and princess clinic but no one has attended to it, it was reported more than 24hrs ago and still nothing. This is really an inconvenience!!

    Sibusiso Elvis Xulu, manager of power outages in Florida area is arrogant, rude and puts the phone down on residents when he is questioned. We have been without power since 7 January at 1.30am and power was only restored on 9 January at around 11h30. If he cannot be professional and polite then clearly he is not suitable for the position. They use delaying tactics and endless excuses continuously. We pay and we are entitled to an efficient service delivery. No manners and cannot perform - get out.

    The second time I’m pleasantly surprised by City power. Phoned early Saturday morning, couldn’t get through to the call center so I requested a call back option. A very helpful gentleman phoned me back within two minutes. He helped me to log a call and the power was restored by 2pm the same day by a friendly team. Thank you City Power.

    Wish there was a minus star function. This "organisation" who are notoriously bad at switching back on again thought it wise to implement a new schedule with more switching. After not having power for almost 8 hours they thought it was OK to shed us again after just 15mins of restored power. This is a technology that is hundreds of years old but you cannot flip a switch properly. Please get a grip

    Your "company"..can not even stick to a load shedding schedule. Power is switched off and back on spontaneously every time. Even Eskom managed to stick to times. If you perform worse then Eskom then you know its time to close the doors and move on. I won't call your service poor, because that would be a compliment and an improvement over what you pretend to offer. A very disappointed Johannesburg because of you

    How can I give a review of zero? Because City Power is rock bottom. Our section in Devland constantly gets unscheduled power cuts off, I got hanged up on after waiting for more than 30 minutes. Absolutely the pits!

    Phoned call centre. Was helped by Bongi. She was amazing and tried to help to resolve the problem. She even phoned me the next day to check if my prepaid meter was sorted . She deserves a promotion

    City Power cannot even stick to the schedule that they publish in order to "help us plan". They turn off our power for allegedly 2.5 hours and leave it off all night only to restore it as the next load-shedding is due. Why bother with a schedule? Why bother with electricity for that matter? It is absolutely useless to anyone if it is not reliable and the current crisis has not made much progress since it started 14 years ago.

😠 First time visiting this branch and customer service is appalling to say the least. Noticed at least 4 consultants not assisting a single customer in the last one and a half hour. People have been queuing for almost 2 hours with no assistance
