Unique experiences in unparalleled company and in a very comfortable space. It is the second course I have done and I always enjoy it a lot, I have gone to do the ramen course and now I have done the rice course. If I lived in Gijón or surrounding areas I would go more often, it is well worth it. You learn about cooking, while you eat what is being made.

Some work colleagues and,I had the most entertaining evening in Umami. Fran Led us through a lovely menu with expertise and humor. Our European colleagues got to make some landmark Spanish dishes, Samorejo, merluza en salsa verde y torrijas. Brilliant fun with lots of laughs. Thoroughly recommend.

Es nuestra segunda experiencia en el Umami y no sólo no ha defraudado sino que ha mejorado la primera. Nos juntamos 10 amigos alrededor de la isla y lo hemos pasado estupendamente cocinando guiados por Gonzalo, un chef genial que ha sabido coordinarnos a la perfección. Una experiencia novedosa además de enriqyecedora y divertida.Os recomiendo 100 por 100.

Una experiencia muy buena! Me lo pase súper bien, tengo intolerancia al gluten y Fran busco alguna alternativa al menú para mi, es de agradecer. Sin duda alguna lo recomiendo y volveré!

Una experiencia estupenda. Me encantó. Para repetir. Gracias a Fran, un chef estupendo, que además de recetas, nos enseňó un montón de trucos de cocina, con paciencia infinita y gracia gaditana.

Disfruté muchísimo de la experiencia Umami. Hicimos 5 platos guiados por el chef Luis Menéndez que además de hacerlo muy bien, tiene muy buena energía, paciencia y claridad. Nos explicó un montón de cosas sobre los ingredientes, dónde comprarlos, las calidades del atún, los cuchillos... Una gozada. Además, desde que entras ponen a tu disposición una nevera con vinos, cervezas y refrescos para que tomes lo que te apetezca. Después del cocinado se cena y como colofón, aún te ofrecen un café o infusión. Nadie te mete prisa para irte, por lo que acabamos a las 12 y pico de la noche y aún quedaba gente allí! Resumiendo, repetiré con otro tipo de curso y doy mi enhorabuena al equipo de Umami por su buen hacer.

Una experiencia genial. Probamos la cocina Thai y nos lo pasamos de muerte. Fran nos enseñó todos los trucos para conseguir un sabor idéntico del que pudimos probar en Tailandia. Un ambiente muy bueno que sin duda esperamos poder repetir con otros cursos diferentes.
