The place itself was really nice, I loved it, but they should take care more about the small details. First of all the bathroom of the changing room was awful, dirty , without paper . We went for a private one hour experience. The pool was beautiful, the hot stone beds were amazing, BUT we couldn’t enjoy because in every 2 minutes someone wanted to come inside, trying to open the closed door. It was impossible to relax like this . I don’t know why they couldn’t put a sign “private room, please don’t open it! “ simple and easy solution. And for last when our 1 hour was over they knocked on the door and the girl said : “out “ like this ( in Spanish) I’m a bit disappointed because it wasn’t cheap .

Good spa, thermal baths. They have 7 spa pools, which 3 of them are quite the same and less different. The outside one is nice. There's one public sauna and one private. Overall its clean and quiet. They play some relaxing music in the background. I was expecting a bit more from what is advertised on the website.

Quiet and relaxing, the pools never feel too crowded. Time flies while there and it’s very easy to lose track of time since there’s no clock anywhere, you have to rely on hearing one of the staff members ringing a bell once every hour. The location is tricky to find if you drive there, do not follow Google Maps or it’ll get you even more lost. We ended up being directed over the phone by the receptionist that was absolutely spot with every single turn. The changing room are cosy but have all you need: shampoo, conditioner, hair dryers and automatic lockers. Bring a bottle of water to take with you because the drinks in the spa area were not topped up, the two water dispensers were almost empty, and you really want to keep hydrated. Overall we had a lovely time there.

Really nice spa, but as it’s in a basement it resonates quiete a lot. Try to avoid peak hours to be sure to be completely relaxed. Also, be aware that this spa hasn’t a nudist area

Definitely worth a visit, the place is very relaxing and if you do during winter, the last pool is especially a great experience

This Roman bath is amazing! The place is clean and very organized. The have so many different pools with different temperatures. The main challenge with it though if you are coming from Barcelona is its location as it's about an hour drive from Barcelona and with no direct train. I would suggest either driving or take the direct bus to that city. Call the spa and ask about the bus number. I believe it was 212 but I can't remember. Our trip back with the bus was easier than trying to go by train then connect to the bus.

A magical place to enjoy the natural hot springs of Caldes de Montboi. We enjoyed 6 pools of varying temperatures and features and a steam room. I loved the one pool open to the sky, and alternating between steaming hot and icy cold in another two. The renovation is very well done- you can feel the centuries envelop you.

Located in a nice village, 40 min from Barcelona (by car). Good packages, even the basic ones.

I went to Espai Cel with my two daughters, 25 and 22 years old on March 14th. We had the pools experience for two hours which was wonderful. Some jets did not work but all in all, the place is very relaxing, water in the pools absolutely pristine and we enjoyed it very much. The locker rooms were also very clean and in good shape. Then we each had a massage; two Chocolate and one Rose. The massages were fine, my rose one was very relaxing and the therapist was good. What was very confusing were the instructions at the beginning. One of my daughters and myself were told to lay in bed and not to cover ourselves with the towel they had at the feet of the table. I get cold easily so I did not follow that instruction. Then we both (in separate rooms) were left alone, one would expect for a couple of minutes, enough time to strip from the bathrobe and lay down, but the wait was unbearably long. The most frustrating part was that we could hear the therapists chat away with one another, more than two of them, at the other side of the door. It was so disconcerting for my daughter to be waiting there stripped completely that she tried calling the lady several times, I could hear her and felt her anxiety in her voice, but to no avail. We waited good ten minutes which felt like much longer. I forced myself not to mention this to the therapist and just asked her the time which she said 6pm, the hour the massage was supposed to start. But my daughter thought it would be a good idea to let hers know that she didn't appreciate waiting that long. Apparently the therapist got mad and did not take the critique as a constructive thing, and proceeded with the massage while arguing about my daughter's comment, which left her in an uncomfortable situation, instead of thanking her for her comment which was truly intended not to let anyone else suffer the same. I think the therapists should give much clearer instructions when leaving the clients to undress, and they should consider that it is a place where one pays to relax, not to hear trivial chatting across the doors. I could even tell what they were talking about, that loud was their conversation. Pretty unacceptable in my view, not to mention the rudeness towards my daughter. For that matter, I will probably try the other spas before going back to Espai Cel, even when the water experience was very good.

The pools were so comforting and warm. The ambience was quiet even though there was more than a few people. Had the massage as well and that was amazing. My masseur Jose Maria has magic hands I swear. He and one other lady, who gave my wife a massage, stayed very professional even though there was a language barrier. The staff were all very accommodating as well. Would definitely come back again for longer
