Off the beaten path and well worth your time. We stopped by in the morning to see about reserving a tour. The gentleman spoke limited English but with patience and a sense of humor he was able to explain that later in the afternoon there would be a guide who spoke English and he would reserve that tour for us. We headed off to Pedraza for lunch and a walk around town then returned. Our guide was wonderful and very thoughtful of us as the only Americans and English-only folks on the tour. The cave is very interesting to see with a rich history that is shared with you as you walk through.

A must-see for anyone who loves caves and is passing through the area! The only downside is that it's so far away from everything, but that can't be helped.

Lovely cave where you can learn more about prehistoric life. All tours are guided and last 45 min. Our guide was great, he really explained the history of the cave and the way it was used by people in the area in a way that was interesting for children and adults. The cave is easily walkable and safe, however I would not recommend the tour for kids younger than 5 years as they would be bored and won't understand the significance of the cave. It's a great weekend gateway which can be combined with lunch in the nearby village Pradena. The cave has some very narrow paths, so it is not recommended to people with claustrofobia.
