My experience is that both Dr Hesters and Peter Van den Berg are very competent, thorough and holds very good relational skills, so if any of our family every should need medical assistance, we would go to Clinica La Ermita again. You always get a very warm welcome from Peter who is super efficient, knowledgeable and professional, as well as being really kind and attentive. He puts you at ease the minute you walk in. Dr. Hester's is just amazing. Unlike any other doctor I've ever met. He is just a true gentleman who really listens and genuinely wants to help. He's Non-judgmental, very understanding and just the kindest loveliest doctor you could ever want to meet. Since finding this surgery I have felt so lucky to be a patient and I wish them continued growth and success.

Arrived recently in Javea and Clinica La Ermita was one of our suggested Insurance doctors- Dr Hesters and Peter were absolutely brilliantly at welcoming us as a family, so efficient with paperwork and setting up appts and prescriptions. A pleasure to go the clinic which is set in great location with fabulous views. Such a nice experience coming from sterile, miserable doctors back home. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing clinic. Peter is always the most welcoming individual as you arrive at the clinic, and Frederic has helped me with so many things - incl. being the only doctor to diagnose me with perioral dermatitis when 5 other doctors in different countries weren't able to. Frederic is always incredibly professional, knowledgable, and efficient. If there's anything they can't help with, they can refer you to the right place and will even help you book. Cannot recommend their services enough! Always leave feeling properly seen to and in safe hands.

The atmosphere is both kind and helpful, creating a positive environment. The staff, including the receptionist, are attentive and display a high level of professionalism. It‘s a place where various medical professionals collaborate seamlessly to ensure comprehensive care. I highly recommend this clinic for their exceptional service and welcoming atmosphere.

We moved to Jávea a year ago and were quite insecure how the medical situation was here. Clinica La Ermita was first recommended by friends and we met Dr. Hesters and Peter here. They literally help you with everything and you can tell they want only the best for their patients. As I lived a long time in the Netherlands, people often told me about the quality of Belgian medicine and that in serious cases they made a trip to a Belgian doctor for another opinion and I now can tell why. The education and knowledge of Dr. Hesters he got from his 20 years of experience in Belgium is noticeable in almost everything. We have a disabled daughter and instead of going to 5 different specialist in the UK, we now have just have Dr. Hesters. I can not recommend him and Peter enough if you want to be in the best hands for both your physical and mental health. We can't thank you enough for everything!

Seemingly random opening times, their own website information does not match the opening time information at the clinic. Irrelevant anyway, as closed when should (according to own timetable) be opened. No information on website, no information on telephone voicemail message. Waste of time, especially frustrating when you are in need of short-notice medical assistance. Avoid.
