Dr. Javier Ayesa was my Camino Angel 😇 I cannot recommend this clinic enough! He saved my foot and allowed me to continue with my dream of hiking the Camino de Santiago. He was the kindest and most professional doctor I have experienced and incredibly knowledgeable about all feet issues. Everybody on the camino trail had told me I was experiencing plantar fasciitis and so I was treating myself as if I did. I was so close to giving up because I was in great pain and it was continuing to get worse. I walked to a pharmacy to go get some more medicine when I saw the sign for Ayesa podiatry clinic. I thought to myself there was no way they could immediately get me in with no appointment and that it would be too expensive, but they say the Camino provides, so I thought I might as well try. I walked in to find the doctor who greeted me and immediately brought me back to the exam room. His dad, a retired foot doctor, and his brother an orthopedic doctor, showed up to help translate in English. He immediately pointed to my shoes, which had no support in the back and were a size too big. He said the lack of support is what was wrong and wrapped my foot and told me how to treat the injury properly. I had pereonal tendonitis. The doctor gave me insoles that provided the proper support to put in my new shoes. He is passionate, knowledgeable, and kind. The whole family was just so great!!! After already going above and beyond treating me, his brother walked me to the shoe store. He helped me pick out proper shoes with the support I needed and sat with me until I found a good shoe fit. Their entire family is the kindest most generous strangers I have encountered. The trail really does provide! Spiritual things have happened like this that I cannot begin to comprehend. This experience will forever remain in my heart. They gave me hope when I thought I was going to have to give up my dream of hiking the Camino. To anyone having foot issues this is your place! I cannot recommend it enough. Also if you are hiking and experiencing any level of pain do not wait for it to get worse!!! Since Javier opened the clinic, he has been very professional. I love his way of being simple and friendly with his patients. It helps you in everything it can, giving you all the possibilities at its disposal. You can't stop talking about your team, they are all very nice; kind, pleasant and very professional. A year ago they made me some insoles, after 6 modifications I don't have them tailored to my feet. If this happens with some insoles, to let them operate on me..... My experience has been very bad, I certainly will not return and I do not recommend it.

I went to the clinic with a lot of pain that prevented me from walking normally. From the first moment Javier and his team were true professionals. His dedication to his patients is exceptional, very delicate. I left the surgery walking and the recovery has been super fast. Exceptional post-surgical care and follow-up. I have 2 bone spurs, and I have suffered a lot of pain, especially in the company with safety shoes. I rested for 2 months to mitigate the pain, I put on some orthopedic insoles at the Ayesa podiatry clinic and I am delighted. It corrects my footprint and I have no pain at all. Besides, the staff is very friendly. For any problems or questions, I will return.

I have been a specialist for 3 months with a very annoying plantar fasciitis... I have had all kinds of treatments: shock waves, electrolysis, physiotherapy, acupuncture... until I found Javier Ayesa who saw the problem with an ultrasound and we decided to infiltrate . Today, after the three-week check-up, I feel perfectly fine and the other foot is going to be infiltrated. I recommend it one hundred percent.

I totally recommend it, in April I had surgery on my left foot and everything was great, after 6 months and recovered very satisfactorily, now I had surgery on my right foot, in October and after a month I am doing just as well as the previous one , improving day by day, wishing for time to pass to be completely well and return to ordinary life.
