The place at Daal Roti is absolutely recommended if you like Indian food. The service is good and the quality of the food is great! If you don’t like spicy sauce, it’s okay, there are other plates that are excellent without it. I’d love to come back

This is an amazing restaurant for authentic Indian food. This establishment embodies the culture and spirit of Indian cuisine. The best Indian dishes from all the regions of India are included on the menu, including typical Indian street food, along with the classic options as well. The veg mix platter was a perfect option for 2-3 people to split and a great way to try the many different appetizers. The entire menu is friendly to all diet types and has many amazing options for vegans especially. The whole menu was carefully crafted and each item is made in house, including their legendary house made hot sauces which can be added to any menu item. The owner is passionate, driven, kind, and truly cares about the customers experience; the small details, ambiance, and food presentation all attest to the quality of this restaurant. A highly recommend spot for anyone to enjoy true Indian food.

Amazing food, great service and the staff were really nice! Started off with a veggie platter, I'm a big meat eater and veggie options usually don't interest me too much but I must say that literally everything on that platter tasted fantastic, I will definitely order one to share every time I return. As a main I had a lamb madras and a garlic and cheese naan, the flavours of the curry were perfectly balanced and you have the option to choose your own level of heat which is nice touch! The naan was lovely too. I can't recommend this restaurant enough and we will be coming back and bringing friends next time.

What a fantastic food 🍛 I'm a fan of Indian gastronomy because of its flavors, its spices, its textures. It's my first time here but everything we tried was spot on. For starters, the house special Pani Puri, a jam of fresh coriander sauce with tamarind syrup to spice up the fried bread crunchy balls. The spicy breaded cauliflower set the way to the main curry dishes that were spectacular. Please try the coconut one, it's incredible. I didn't have the chance to try the desserts, maybe next time. At noon, they also have the lunch formula at 12,95€. Amazing value for money 💰.

I have been living in Barcelona for around 11 years. I have been able to witness the evolution of the Indian Culinary scene in the city. Initially, it was difficult for me to adapt to the taste of the Indian food adapted to the local palate. Later I even convinced myself that there are many reasons for this to happen - recipes, ingredients, origin of the chefs, etc. Only to be taken back to reality upon visits back home and experiencing the food afresh. I have been looking for that perfect 'mutton biryani' across Barcelona but even the most popular eateries have fallen short. Most of them are catering to the tourists or local population and not to the Indian visitors. For that reason, most of the time, the flavors are mellowed down and the end result is you feeling unsatisfied. In some cases, it even poorly reflects in their service standards towards the Indian guests. But all that changed when I had a chance to have a lunch meal at 'Daal Roti'. I ordered a 'mutton biryani' and was happily surprised to have my expectations surpassed. The flavors were rich and the spice profile was spread across the spectrum. The meat was perfectly cooked and rice grain was long and aromatic. The raita was just on point to cool the heat the biryani delivered in some bites. Not to be forgotten that the service was very friendly. I was attended by Nirav who checked with me how I prefered my food in terms of spice levels. Also recommended the dessert (kheer - rice pudding) to complement my meal. I was happy to see that the team was excited to have me as a guest. I had chosen the 'Menu del dia' (Lunch menu) option and ended up paying a mere 12.95€ for a hearty meal. That's a rare experience at an Indian restaurant in Barcelona. Definitely recommend visiting or ordering a home delivery.

I would often go several times to a place before giving a review. But this may be the best Dahl lentil curry I ever had, period. I had a takeaway order and it stayed perfectly fresh until I got home. Well packaged and oh, the lentil bread and mango chutney are incredible too. Must try. Openness and calm atmosphere, elegant space, lovely staff.

Best North Indian cuisine restaurant I have been to in Europe.I was blown away by the authentic flavors of the dishes. The daal was particularly noteworthy and reminded me of home. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with friendly staff that made my experience even more enjoyable. The menu is extensive, with a wide variety of authentic Indian dishes to choose from, each rich with diverse flavors of spices. I would highly recommend Daal Roti to anyone looking for an authentic and flavorful Indian dining experience.

Best Indian in Barcelona we've tried so far. Really good food at a great price! The kachori Chaat to start and kadahi chicken were stand out dishes. Everything is super fresh!
