This hotel is really great for its price, location, cleanliness, staff, beach access, and aesthetics. For me, the things that fell a bit short were the food and the smell of the room. The restaurants aren’t very good at all and the buffet food is pretty average. Our room had an off putting smell possibly coming from the vents but we weren’t sure. I prefer one king bed to two doubles, but all in all, the room was really nice. It was clean and spacious. The staff is absolutely amazing. Everyone from the buffet staff to the front desk to the game coordinators. Most people speak around 3 languages and can help you with anything you need. We had no problem calling taxis, getting recommendations, and the staff helped with various requests, plus everyone was so friendly. The pool games are so fun and I would recommend checking them out as it’s also a great way to meet new people. In short, I’d recommend this hotel and would love to come back one day :)

Would 100% come to this hotel again. The staff were lovely, the amount of food offered at the buffet is incredible and going all inclusive is definitely worth it with the amount of drinks and food we had whilst visiting. Only thing I would say isn’t so great is the amount of entertainment, I noticed pool based classes were only happening in one of two pools and the night entertainment was quite repetitive. Apart from that I was very impressed and will definitely consider riu hotels in future!

Fantastic hotel, maid service every day, free towels. Very friendly and helpful staff and the atmosphere is great,. 3 floors with lifts. Very large hotel, we went all inclusive and the meals are amazing, a good variety for everyone. Amazing staff who were very helpful, tidied away very quickly It's literally across the road from the beach Shop on site which sells all sorts including milk and cigarettes Kettle and fridge included in the room. The beach is lovely and soft with a nice blue sea 🌊. Local shops, bars, tavernas. An amazing place to stay and highly recommended

Incredibly friendly staff. Great buffet selections for breakfast, lunch and dinner. 4 pools total which are located on 2 separate locations on the complex, which offer a lot of sunbeds seating. The pool near the hairdresser and shop is a lot quieter than the pool near the buffet. However, there's also a small all day buffet near that pool. So plenty of eating options all day long.

I can't understand why some people might be bothered by these adorable cats. They are such wonderful creatures, full of grace and delicacy. For me, the presence of cats is not only a source of joy but also moments of tranquility and touching harmony. It's hard for me to comprehend how someone could feel uncomfortable because of their presence. I believe it's important to show more understanding and empathy towards animals that bring so much positive energy and joy. The world needs more respect for our furry companions.

Currently sat by the pool here on a winter break. The hotel is immaculate, well maintained, and tidy. All the staff are friendly and helpful from reception through to services. The location just outside of the town means the area is pleasant and the long sandy beach is quiet. The usual fantastic Riu standard will probably be back!

All of the staff were so friendly and helpful could not find fault with anything in the hotel. The entertainments team are probably the best we have seen in an all inclusive hotel. Food was excellent, great selection, salads, pasta, fish, meat and pizzas , something for everyone. Would definitely recommend.

This was our second stay at the Paraiso this year and once again we enjoyed a warm welcome. It is a large hotel but has extensive grounds and there are plenty of sunbeds .Sometimes we were by the pool area but we also used the area to the rear which was a bit more peaceful. Chef cooked a different roast each evening and the salmon was mouthwatering. I'd also recommend the roast beef if you like it pink and moist. On the salad counter you can enjoy large shrimp ,mussels, tuna, fresh meats and all types of vegetables. For the cost of the holiday the quality and choice at all meals is amazing. Well done catering staff. We enjoyed the whole holiday and all the staff were friendly and helpful I've just concentrated on the meals because of some adverse comments regarding the food. We'll be back again soon hopefully.

Stayed here one week. Expectations were unfortunately not met! Disappointed to find the 2 speciality restaurants are actually self service (buffet restaurants) and we’re not good at all. The food in the main buffet was also very average, expected better for a 4 star. Staff in buffet restaurant were always mannerly. Found reception staff very unhelpful and unfriendly on multiple occasions. Room cleaning staff were lovely and very friendly! No iron or kettle for tea/coffee in room, or mini bar especially when it is a fair walk to go to the main building to get a drink, also no option for room service. Over all it is unlikely I will be back or recommended. Definitely expected a bit more than what I received.

the rooms were excellent, balcony to sit on at night time. listening to the green parrots. watching tennis or football. very clean. every day cleaned and fresh towels. the food was excellent breakfast lunch and evening meal.the drinks were on tap so easy to access and the bar staff were excellent. entertainment was excellent the only down side was in the outside lounge they went of at 10.45 to 11.00. just needed a little more. but were excellent what performed on the stage. the outside was cleaned and well maintained. the entertainments staff was none stop all day and kept us entertained with games bingo and aerobics in the pools. we would recommend this hotel

Second visit here and it's still brilliant. Great staff, really clean hotel and four big pools. Pity the swim up bar has been removed as that was a great feature. All inclusive with great selection of food and drink. Perfect location right next to the beach, 15 minute stroll to the town centre and 10 mins from the airport. Would highly recommend.

I am just back from our family holidays this week, already looking at dates for next year, a beautiful hotel, good location, lovely food but wholeheartedly the staff working at the hotel made the holidays for me. Absolutely everyone was warm, friendly, helpful and kind. I have to mention the entertainment team for my little girl who absolutely adored Meggie and Martin as we did for the mini disco every evening.

Excellent position straight opposite beach with walks left or right during the day walking along sea edge or evening walks along promenade Good variety and quality of food. Never a shortage of sunbeds and lots of space. Good pools and pool bars. Well maintained green space. Well run hotel.

We have recently come back from our week stay mid June. I can only speak positively on our experience. As soon as we checked in we straight away we noticed how clean the hotel was out throughout. The staff from reception, the bar, the restaurant and the cleaners were all fantastic and very friendly. The food was always good, always a good amount of options which you would expect with a buffet. Two pool areas which we alternated between, both great and very clean, one was quieter than the other, so it was nice to have that option to be able to chose on the day where you wanted to be. The location was great being a stones throw away from the beach and then a ten minute walk into the town where there were many bars and restaurants. Would very much recommend this hotel as it was a great experience.

Great hotel right on the beach front with access through a key carded gate. Pools are a good size and the food is fine. Like most all inclusive hotels food can start to get repetitive even with the themed restaurants. My only issue I had was around the pools on one side of the hotel there was a lack of music, I wasn't looking after loud music or anything but just a bit of background sound

Great hotel, staff are fantastic. Beach straight across the road, ten mins walk up to bars and shops. Food varied and well cooked. The only downside was that the juices used in drinks were more like cordial.... not great for cocktails ( I might be a bit fussy!). Would def stay again.

Fabulous week in a beautiful, well maintained hotel... The walkways to rooms and gardens all full of palms and plants were immaculate and a delight. Food was fresh and delicious, staff polite and very friendly. Rooms were spotlessly clean.We made our own entertainment but others seemed to enjoy what the hotel put on. We stayed in the farthest part across "the bridge" which in our opinion was quieter, the pools nicer and preferable all round. Would highly recommend!! 👌

Had 7 days here very nice hotel food was OK you could find something , rooms are nice shame about the air conditioning, I must say I've never been a hotel what was cleaned so well has this one it was spot on , the staff to very helpful and friendly and quick at taking empty glasses away and dinner plates 10 out of 10 , I only have 4 things wrong for me. 1 the ac 3 days it was 27 in the room then went down to 25 and the last day we were there it was on 21 we did tell reception and they said would send a maintenance man ,so didn't sleep well for 3 nights. Even in the hotel bar area and eating area they need fans or ac 2 the food had chicken kebabs but sadly not cooked . 3 sun beds all packed in like sardines 4 pool bar is in side the hotel Would I go back sadly no

Great selection of food, but dry salads. Busy pool area but bearable. Great location for airport and nearby shops and bars. Clean room with nice view. Drinks were terrible. Cocktails were awful, wine was okay and limited choice of anything else.

Fantastic hotel. Excellent food. Very clean. Staff pleasant. Close to the beach and 15 minutes walk on the promenade to shops and bars . If I was very critical, air conditioning in restaurant and public areas would have been nice. I happily recommend it.

October holiday with our 1 year old. 10 minute bus ride from the airport. Don't let that put you off as the planes that did pass weren't offensively loud. What a beautiful hotel! Thank you for such a beautiful stay. Such a big beautiful hotel. A massive thank you to all the hardworking staff. From cleaners who worked relentlessly all around to the food hall assistants who also worked so hard but took time out their shift interact with my Son. Thank you for the reception team for arranging such a nice room. I think we may have had an upgrade, but I can neither confirm or deny it. 😉 Sea and mountain views were spectacular from sunrise to sunset ftom 1 of the 2 balconie. The room had a very adequate air conditioning system which included a ceiling fan. Buffet food and drink was plentiful breakfast, dinner and lunch time. Each night, finding a little something new was a little spare however, the quality was always high. We didn't venture into the bookable restaurants but looking at the menus most selections be found in the buffet. We were located on the 4th floor on the right hand side of the hotel (4417). From reception to the room was a fair walk. If you have mobility issues, I would suggest making arrangements at booking stage to be located closer to the reception. Pools - Right and left hands idea pool areas always had enough beds to go around with either Parasols or Pergolas. The left pools are most definitely more subdued the the other side. The location was perfect for us as we love a walk at lunch and evening times. Looking at the sea to the right is a 20 minute walk to a bustling, very British feeling strip. Use Google maps to find more authentic local feel restaurants and you will be suprised how many beautiful authentic places you can find overlooking the sea. To the left is a quieter 10 minute walk, is much smaller but plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. The local Spars are well stocked with everyday items you would require. We found it perfect for picking up swim/normal nappies and toddler related snacks. I did find that the hotel in week we arrived was very heavily non English speaking. Brush up on your Spanish and German before you arrive lol Muchas gracias! ❤️

Great hotel. Very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the service is very good. Food is good and there's plenty of choice. The facilities are good and there are two great pool areas to choose from. The entertainment team keep everyone occupied during the day. We found the entertainment in the evening a bit hit and miss but it didn't spoil our experience. Would definitely return.

Second time in a Riu hotel and slightly disappointed. Our double room is very small, although we were given a room in a quiet area with a seaview, which we requested. I have to say that the pool areas in Riu hotels are very unappealing, the beds are positioned very close together with little room to move. We tend to use the beach as it's only a 5 min walk from the hotel. Food and drink is plentiful and there's a great choice. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Not sure we would return to this hotel but we loved Karamboa in Cape Verde.

Absolutely no complaints..family of 4..2 teens..food good ..a little repetitive but once you find what you like your sorted. Drinks good, very attentive service. Good pool fun, daily.change of pool towel..keep that evening and exchange at poolside next morning. Reception attentive and excellent problem solving and good advice on activities. A teen room with pool table.etc.would be a suggestion..otherwise A1..coming back 😊

A very good all inclusive hotel. The price was very affordable and I got good value. The staff were very friendly and service minded. The food was nice in all aspects as long as you stay away from the Asian special restaurant. Location by the beach is nice and all but the beach is empty. The rooms were good and our only issue was the lack of electrical outlets. If you are three in one room there won’t be enough which led to some odd solutions like leaving the electricity on to charge stuff when away (restarting it again as soon as we saw the cleaners leave since they turn it off :) All in all though this hotel is fantastic and I would visit again.

First time back since 2019 riu have really pulled out all the stops remodeling the hotel. The rooms are very well presented and clean. The grounds were amazing..and plenty of new sun beds around the pool area with sun shades aplenty..the food was outstanding with plenty of choice and all the staff are especially attentive and polite. and a special mention to the very hard working animation team absolutely fantastic shows!! WELL DONE RIU..

We are here on our first visit to this hotel. We are here for another 4 days and have found the hotel and staff to be fab! The hotel is spotless and staff can't do enough to help! The food is good and there is plenty of variety. The reason for my 3 star review is the quality of drinks. The drinks are awful! Even the non alcoholic drinks are terrible, soft drinks are flat and fruit juices are so strong, you can't drink them. Sprits and cocktails are undrinkable. We have taken to going out every night so this has had a negative impact on us being able to enjoy the nightly entertainment as well which is a shame as it seems to be very good. Such a shame as until this is rectified, we wouldn't be returning 😔

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel! The room was nice, staff members were really lovely and the program was also very good. A lot of food options that we also very much enjoyed! Would definitely recommend.

Good hotel with one major disappointment. Rooms nice, public areas well kept and staff are generally friendly. Food is good, both speciality restaurants worth a visit and buffet has plenty of choice. Honestly don't know how anyone can complain about the food but the quality of drinks is a problem. Beer and soft drinks are fine. Spirits and fruit juices are awful and the cocktails are practically undrinkable, bearing no resemblance to what they are meant to be. We visited another Riu last year and the drinks were so much better. Would have been 5 stars if drinks were better.

After a long debate on where to travel to on holiday we finally settled on this , and wow we were very happy with our decision. The rooms are lovely and when it's 36° outside the air con in the room was a absolute pleasure to be around. The pool is lovely however be quick with your sunbeds in the morning. Food is lovely and entertainment is great too. The staff are all happy and seem to genuinely care about their job. If your looking at the 2 other restaurants in the hotel go for the Chinese one because that's lovely, the other one is pretty awful compared to that. Again we absolutely loved our stay and we will be back. Would recommend!

Rooms: The rooms are very clean with a lot of space. However there are a lot of mosquitoes which cannot be controlled. The cleaning service was great, with flexibility if you are not ready for your room to be cleaned. Staff: Throughout the hotel, the staff are extremely friendly and will try there best to assist you. Very positive atmosphere! While dining the staff will take plates away very fast when you finish your meal. When playing tennis, one of the staff noticed we did not bring water, and gave us 2 bottles. Sports and activities: There are a wide range of activities for everyone to enjoy. If you would like to play tennis, I'd recommend bringing your own racket. Food is delicious! Wide range of different types of food. The los pocillos beach is around 100m from the hotel. Thank you for the amazing experience!

Very good location, nice activities and great staff. Only bad points are the buffet: food was mediocre, I think some food was frozen (when I bite it, it was still cold inside). Laundry service absolutely too expensive: 50euro for about 10pieces of clothes. Customers should be informed when the price is that high.

We revisited this hotel which we believed had been refurbished recently. The weather wasn't good.The public area is basically a large area with glass screens along the side nearest the pool. This was cold with people sitting in coats in the evenings. The restaurant was extremely busy although the choice and standard of food was OK. The overall impression was that the hotel was managing to cope with an excessive number of guests. Overall I wouldn't say the hotel met the rating and our expectation. The entertainment team are very good.

Amazing staff, they’re extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel seems very new or renovated and extremely well preserved and the facilities and the food are perfect. It’s also great if you have kids, they have a kids pool and a playground inside the hotel, and the beach is just across the street.

Lovely hotel. Location great,good beach in a quiet area. 15 minutes walk in either direction to shops and bars. Pool area has loads of beds, never crowded. Rooms comfortable , with nice indoor landscaping. Food surprisingly good overall, no complaints there! The other surprise was the quality of the in house entertainment at night , varied and enjoyable. Just a couple of improvements to suggest; towels in the rooms are not in keeping with the quality of the hotel, too thin and small, and it would be better to supply cold milk at the self service drinks bar. Hot milk with tea is wrong!

Beautiful hotel, staff were really lovely and always cheerful. Had problems getting pool towels as no one available to issue them. Soon sorted with the help of reception. Food was excellent, I am a very fussy eager but never went hungry. Only downside was the long walk back to our room. We have health issues so it wasn't ideal. Overall a lovely stay
